      Absolutely terrible company. I tried 3 times to give them a chance and all 3 times have been worthless. First two times I kept getting booked with people that did not even perform the services I specifically requested. Now today, after waiting for 15 minutes I call to tell them the doctor still hasn't showed up and I need to cancel because I have to go to work in less than an hour. She tells me the appointment should have already been canceled and that was yet another scheduling error by them. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing. HIGHLY recommend finding a different provider because you will not have a good experience with these idiots. What a complete waste of time MULTIPLE times.

      Only offers telehealth Psych appointments. Expected me to agree in writing to a $125 fee for canceling or reschedule beyond 48 BUSINESS HOURS. I consider this organization to be a scam preying on low income SSDI patients.

      Here I am sitting in the waiting room for my first appointment, and I am SO disappointed already. So far, the provider, *****************************, is 20 minutes late. No apology, just excuses on why she thought that was acceptable. If you're going to charge me BEFORE my appointment starts, show up late, and expect me to be okay with a shortened appointment time for my FIRST appointment, you're insane. The admin ******* is so rude and disrespectful. Don't hire people who aren't knowledgeable and sensitive to the fact that people who are coming to this office NEED kindness and compassion, not disrespect because your admin doesn't want to work the front desk. I am honestly appalled on how I've been treated. Even ******* was like "go see another provider" like she doesn't even care about her patients obviously. I hope nobody ever goes here with serious mental health concerns. They will NOT be addressed. This place is a joke and the owner should be ashamed of him or herself.

      Billed me the copay amount for 9 months before suddenly charging me the full out-of-pocket rates for all of the past appointments. *** been trying to speak to a billing manager for almost a year now and keep getting the run around. At one point I asked for proof that they billed my insurance and they say that violates HIPPA.. even though thats my information. Theyre threatening to send my account to collections. Ive read so many similar reviews on multiple websites its truly heartbreaking that they have placed such immense financial and emotional burdens on so many people.

      After LifeStance took over Georgia Behavioral Health there has been significant failures to provide the patient with timely responses for scheduling appointments, and resolving billing discrepancies in the form of overcharging for services not received. This month, September I have been subjected to up to 39 minute waits to reach an associate to schedule an appointment with my provider of 10 years. When using the option to leave a message and callback number, the calls have NEVER been returned. The patient portal does not offer the service of scheduling appointments online. Also, I have been trying to resolve a new bill received last month overcharging me over $400. I have contacted the third party billing twice by phone and 4 times through patient portal messages. From a conversation with the third party billing company, which also has over 20 minute wait times and leave a message, and we will call you back that NEVER gets returned, the person sent a notice to have the bill reviewed. That was over ************************************ review. The charges at the time of billing were over 30 days old. This company has a reputation of using collections and damaging credit for bills not paid. Why is this company still allowed to operate in Georgia? Their patient portal only services to fill prescription requests, send message to provider, and send message to billing that have never been responded to. I don't want to change providers, but the patient has no rights.

      I can't give less than a 1 star rating, so 1 star it is.I have no problems with the therapists. It is the parent company and their billing and customer service. Every bill I receive does not match with insurance, and requires that I call billing to discuss and have the bill re-reviewed. I have to wait close to 30+ minutes on hold to speak to their billing department. Their wait time message states they will call you back if you leave a message...they don't, so it is sit and wait on hold. The billing specialists are not able to give me **************. Their billing statements and customer portal are missing the level of detail I get from every other provider I have ever worked with. I have a very poor opinion of this company.

      I started therapy one month ago via this place. Once per week, continuously. I even enrolled my son, as initially I was thrilled with the services thus far.Then, on a Friday evening, my ************ caught a stomach bug. That same evening I tried to contact this business. Oddly enough, they had no answering service or any way to record a message. I tried again on Friday, and again on Saturday. Still, no viable way to cancel an appointment or leave a message. We were sick for that week. I then get a text message saying I owed a balance of $70.00. I asked my therapist, directly, why I was being billed. He responded that it's company policy that cancellations must be reported 48 hours before the appointment, and that my insurance didn't cover "no call/no show" scenarios. I said that there's literally no way to contact the company over the weekend, and that as a father, emergency situations arise that are unavoidable. My mother's health is deteriorating, would also her passing not constitute some consideration? As people who generally seek counseling/therapy aren't always in the best mental state of mind, it seems harmful that this policy even exists.Upon further research, I find that Life Stance is in fact a corporation in the process of buying out smaller practices, so they're really just implementing a corporate structuring into the mental health field, which seems highly irresponsible and potentially harmful to their clients.My recommendation would be to seek out mental health professionals that operate out of smaller practices. As they are more likely to show actual care and consideration to their clients. Attempting to attend a corporate structured office will most likely leave you worse off then when you first sought help. Their objective is based only in finance and greed. The system is designed to bill regardless. There's no real help to be found the

      I keep calling and emailing about my ****, I some how have two accounts one with insurance and one without. Either way the way they billed me was incorrect. The account with insurance went from $15.00 to ****** and no one has answered my questions and calls. The one without insurance applied is at $570.00 for only 4 appointments this is ridiculous.

      I first logged in and saw a counselor with LifeStance. When I got my **** it was for ******. I paid 2 payments and my insurance took care of the rest. The next month the lady called me and said that I had an appointment. I told her that I would not be seeing her anymore as a patient as this company had charged me 550. for a 25 minutes session. I then got back on their website and found another counselor. She met with me and I was sort of dissatisfied with her performance as a counselor. She sent me a date for an appointment., which I thought was for 05/20/2022 at 5:20 p.m. On that date I logged into the portal for Lifestance and she did not show up for the appointment. When I confronted them with this they took down all the information concerning that appointment for that date. I never went back to this lady as I thought I had told them that I did not want to be associated with this company as far as counseling was concerned. Her name was ********************* and she sent me a **** for over ****** for less than 30 minute session. On Monday of this week I received a **** from LifeStance in the amount of ****** for the office visit I presumably missed on 05/27/2022. I opted in again with LifeStance and got an appointment with another counselor. They sent me an email this morning stating that they wanted me to call them regarding the appointment they made with for 10/01/2022. The lady told me that she would have to get permission from her manager for me to have the appointment. She stated that the manager told her that they would have to cancel the appointment because I had missed the appointment in May. So after they told me that I told them to F off. I have called every psychiatrist in Macon and surrounding area to get an appointment, but they either do not take my insurance, i am too old or they are refusing to see additional patients. So I am up the creek without a paddle. I would like to file a complaint this company because of unfair billing practices etc.

      They only want money an could careless about your mental health. Their psychiatrist basically left me with no referral. Their company is double billing my insurance an even after talking to my insurance which said the company is illegally double billing. I left reviews on ****** an they reported it. If you look all their reviews are years old. Showing you they dispute me current reviews to hide bad rating. Their business model is bad, their docs are bad, their billing **** is bad.
