      I have rented from over 15 rental properties across ******* in the last 20 ****************************** has proven to be the most inconsiderate & unprofessional company I've ever interacted with. In summary, a legal issue occurred in my home including myself & roommate. I called Progress Residential to have the lease terminated PER THE SIGNED LEASE AGREEMENT. I spoke to one middle management person named ***** over the phone (which took over a week to get a call back after repeated calls to the generic answering service - the only phone number we were ever provided during our rental period) who stated that the lease would in fact have to be terminated given the circumstances. He stated that we had 30 days to vacate the ******************************* would be escalated to their legal department. I never heard anything back from him after that phone call. The fourth person I spoke to at this call center recommended that I simply take my name off the lease, forfeiting MY $2000 security deposit - I still requested to speak to someone from management. "Someone will call you back in 24 hours," "your case has been sent up to management," "sorry, the office closes early" - classic run around from a large company who gives no respect to their customers. Weeks later I received an email from Cale asking me to sign to have my name taken off the lease, pay an additional months rent (even though I am not physically allowed back at the residence) AND surrender MY $2000 deposit. I responded to this email with a request for a phone call so I could discuss what ***** had previously told me about the legality of the situation- no response. I am not just a disgruntled previous customer of this organization wanting to simply complain, I am in hopes that this will help future potential renters to stay clear of this company who has repeatedly proved their inability to communicate with their customers, show respect, or hold up their end of THEIR OWN LEASE AGREEMENT. Beware of Progress Residential.

      This is the WORST company Ive ever done business with. Their customer service group is the rudest (overall), most difficult people Ive dealt with in my life!! Ive never had anyone follow up on anything. No one returns calls, just 15 emails that a 10 minute phone call could solve. If I had been in a situation to investigate this company further before moving in, I would have looked elsewhere.

      Do NOT rent from Progress! They don't care about their tenants. I have rented from them since 2021, and have been nickel and dimed with their fees, valid or not (and Lord help you if they aren't valid! You'll spend hours/months calling them to get them to remove late fees they should not have charged in the first place, and every person you talk to will tell you something different & have NO knowledge of what the person before them told you. Policies are randomly, and without warning, changed by them as far as payments, fees, payment arrangements, etc. They recently, randomly, charged me a late fee on a payment arrangement (like I've been doing for all of 2023), and their reasoning as to why it wasn't charged before - "we don't know" or "the **************** wouldn't let ** charge late fees. That's over now". NO communication, no warning. They charge late fees of $125 if you pay after the 3rd of the month. Then they will charge you another $800 in eviction fees after the 15th of the month, regardless who you talk to or what they tell you. And you'll HAVE to pay the fees or else you'll still be evicted. How is this even legal!!? In Jan ****, they randomly decided to stop offering partial payment arrangements starting 4/1, which, given how expensive rent is, is the ONLY way many tenants can pay their rent. I've had to spend hours on the phone trying to reach people to solve problems, like when they took 2 weeks to fix the 1/4 of my roof that was ripped off by a hurricane in 2023. They didn't care that my entire home was open to the elements for TWO WEEKS. They also didnt care that, living in *******, it was hot and my AC was just running nonstop for that time, increasing my bill substantially. They simply DO NOT CARE. This company should be ASHAMED how they treat their tenants, how they do business, their horrible customer service, and how very little they care about people! Definitely find yourself a small, local landlord who cares about people!

      He assured them that progress residential is the worst rental company here in the ******* area, they have terrible service, the manager ******* is a terrible person, she treats you as if she doesn't care what you as a client and tenant are telling her, ************************* is a racist. to the clients very badly and in the same way his assistant is also a very bad management in the ****** office.. For ************************* the only thing that interests him is doing his will without caring about anything, he is a despotic and very arrogant person.. to anyone person I recommend you never rent with Progress residential

      I have rented from Progress for going on 3 years now. We have now terminated our lease. Renting from Progress Residential has been the worst renting experience in my 34 years of life. I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy. Getting them to complete service requests is like pulling teeth, then when they do fulfill the requests they do a HORRIBLE job and try to charge you for this at the end of your lease with your security deposit. We have had water leaks that required them to replace walls and flooring, no gas upon move in so we couldnt cook nor could we bath the first week in our home, we went through 4 refrigerators because they kept replacing with junk that caused our food to go bad costing us more money, ***** and ant infestation, and MANY MANY more issues. In my opinion this company should be shut down based on their business efforts and ethics. Take my advice and learn through my experience, DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL.

      Applied 2 months ago, got approved and then denied because of my income so I needed a guarantor because of my income, ok coolGot a guarantor and they approved but my guarantor couldnt verify identity due to using a desktop computer..Ok fine! So of course they say you get your 200$ back once denied its been 90 days still no refund and been giving the run around (unprofessional) Ok, fast foward I apply again this week because we had all of ours stuff gathered from the last time we applied which we got approved so we gave it another tryplus nothing has changed within the credit and background from the first try so everything should still be the same ..they also say they dont go by credit..LIE!!!!! Anyway , paid another 300$ applications fees and all included just to get denied again.with the same information from last time that got me an approval..this has been such a stressful thing..now Im out of another 300$ probably want even get it back ..they so strict and everybody tell you different things when you call..poor communication, poor service man this sucks!!!!!!! The had enough nerves to tell me to apply again??????????????for wat so I can be out another 600$ ..I need answers

      CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT people wanted! ********************************* CEO you need to get your company in check.DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL! They are corporate scum bags! One year later water is still coming in basement when the job was "fixed". Someone needs to start a class action, sign me up give me a call! From the floors folding up to AC flooding to water main replacement to rotting wood/mold from water intrusion in basement. I have 2 young children with a rental company that doesn't care for their health and safety. We've had it all in this house.Thanks for nothing ***** from **********************! Also thanks to Progress Residential who hired them. If you want workers that beat around the ****, this is the crew for you! Pics are what they did to "remediate" rotting wood. They have come out 4/5 times to fix the issue. Support beam that already has support. The basement still has rotting wood with my 2 children in the home.Strongly advise to not rent a home from this rental agency. They cannot keep up with their client's homes.I have filled out multiple customer review emails. So for you to say the three I've completed for the course of multiple service calls is BLANK is exactly why I gave a 1 star.

      ***** hace dos das escrib una resea negativa pues est empresa nos cobra el dinero de la aplicacin y *********** no fue aceptada porque segn est Compaa que juega con el dinero de las personas informa hoy que dos de los solicitantes enviaron permiso de trabajo y no lo aceptaron , por cierto el permiso de trabajo es una identificacin emitida por el gobierno como lo establece sus requisitos, no obstante ambos tienen otra identificacin pero ni siquiera dieron la posibilidad de sustituir la informacin enviada, la accin de la Empresa fue denegar la solicitud sin ni siquiera una llamada para rectificar, es decir, no te equivoques que pierdes todo y no te llaman, se desentienden del problema y pierdes el dinero, hoy me escribieron al ver mi resea y me dicen que perdi la solicitud por ese error, increble que manera de quitarle el dinero a las personas sin ni siquiera revisar la solicitud con profundidad y en caso de algn error avisar al cliente para rectificar, por nuestra parte el mismo da que el enlace para verificar la identidad expir que por cierto no haban pasado ni 24 horas, nos cansamos de llamar y ***** escrib por correo y nos dieron un nmero de caso, todo por gusto, ni siquiera trabajaron en ello y pues se quedaron con el dinero de la aplicacin y nada *********** no te equivoques que lo pierdes todo y ellos se. limpian. Progreso Residencial no sirven.

      I wish there was a way to give them zero stars honestly. This company is ridiculous as far as tenants treatment. Locking people out of accounts to pay online. Not accepting rent payments and filing false evictions. This is the most stressed I have ever been concerning paying my rent ever. I have spent more time to get people on the phone than working my own job. Talking to condescending representatives. And lying supervisors. Please please please for the sake of your sanity and own peace avoid renting from them and research them throughly for any afflicted companies.

      Horrible services. I have been without heat for 2days and they have no concern. Thy keep saying 24 hours for someone to come out, but this is an emergency and its 9degrees outside. They dont fix anything but want to pay for a maintenance person to come fix things for there property. Dont rent from them they are not professional its all about money with them!!. I have lived at this property over 6 years and they were bout out by Progress and it has been down hill since then. Please beware and find another rental property that cares about there tenants
