      I took my truck to discount tire in ************ ** to have new tires put on it the technician that put the tires on my truck broke most of the bolts on the center caps on all of my wheels this happened on a Saturday I reported it to them but the manager was not in so I waited until Monday and I called him and informed him what had happened he said that he would get in touch with me about getting it fixed I waited for a couple months and I contacted the corporate office in ******* the lady on the phone told me that she would have the ceo contact me that day it has now been months and I have not heard anything from them the technician told the person in charge that day that it was already like that when it came in but I saw him putting the screws back in with a drill and thats when he snapped them off in to my wheels but since I bought the truck new it has only had tires put on at this location over the past 8 years I have spent close to ****** dollars at this store on tires and wheels for all of my vehicles because they are very knowledgeable and make sure I have what I need to be safe but Im sorry to say that they have lost my business I am in need of several thousand dollars of tires now for a couple of my trucks and trailers but I will find another company to suit my tire needs for my fleet

      I am writing to you about my experience dealing with Discount Tire, in *************, **. I went in to see if they could fix my flat tire. They came back after looking at it and told me it wasnt fixable. He showed me what looked like a 4 inch bolt taken out of my tire. Then he showed me a picture of the damage the bolt did to the rim. He told me that the rim couldnt be repaired either and that I would need to buy a whole new set of rims. I then told the technician that I live on a fixed income, and could not afford to do that. I kept asking about buying just one rim and he insisted I could not do that. Then his response was to have me apply for the Discount Tire credit card and gave me a $2000 credit limit. He asked again, if I was ready to order rims and all new tires because I got approved for 2 grand. I told him again, Im on disability and have a small fixed income, so, no, I still cant afford all of that, and dont want to do that. Never mind the credit limit you gave me, because I still have to pay it back! I agreed to get two tires and wanted to replace just the damaged rim. He kept insisting that I couldnt do that and eventually I agreed to his service opinion. After the fact, I have had mechanics and other male mechanically inclined friends tell me that i was lied to and ripped off. I was told by one mechanic that he could have fixed the damaged rim, and had another show me a website where I could order a factory rim just like what I had. They both agreed that he was lying about needing a whole new set of rims. Several other people told me that as well. Ive been struggling to make the monthly payments this entire time. My rent was raised and Im so frustrated with more stress and still paying for something that I didnt want in the first place. As an older adult female, not mechanically inclined, I feel that I have been taken advantage of, and am angry about it. I have paid more than enough to cover the items i originally needed.

      I'm not completely satisfied with the response from Discount Tire. They offered to take $300 dollars off my bill. I don't think that's fair. I'm willing to make one more payment of $100 by March 7th. I feel that wiping the rest of the debt would be the right thing to do.

      I'm feeling so angry and frustrated because they haven't even bothered to respond back. I was told I would get a call back from ***** after discussing how to make things right when Discount first responded to the complaint. He said he'd call me back after checking with his manager. I've not heard back from him, which is making me feel even more disrespected! They need to make things right. I've been struggling to make the big payments, leaving me in financial duress. I told him that the big payments would be taking away my grocery money. He didn't seem to care at all, it was all about him making a big sale, and taking advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge.

      I tried to reach out to corporate at the end of December and no resolve. Basically, I bought tires that they refused to warranty! Bought 2 pair on 6/14/2022 for ****** and then 2 more on 5/05/2023 for ******. Come December 2023 none of these tires were able to be fixed do to wear. These tires were to have ****** miles warranties. I ended up having to go buy tires form another company. That company told me the tires were not meant for my vehicle. Nobody at discount tire will talk about this. I want at least one set refunded! This should not have happened I only drive to work 2 to 3 days a week these tires may not have even had ****** miles on them. Also, Evey six months the dealership rotated and checked the alignment.

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Discount Tire regarding a recent service experience that has left me deeply dissatisfied. On [date], I visited the [Location] branch for a routine Tire Pressure Sensor (***) replacement. Unfortunately, the service resulted in significant damage to my vehicle's steering wheel digital system, particularly the buttons on the steering wheel. This happened Jan 4 2023 Upon inspection, it became evident that the steering wheel buttons were broken, and it appears that this damage occurred as a result of rough handling during the *** sensor replacement process. I am disheartened by the lack of care and attention to detail exhibited by the technicians involved in the service.I believe that such damage is unacceptable and demonstrates a clear oversight in the standard of service provided by Discount Tire.       The business did not provide initiative resolution or courtesy to resolve the issue of fixing or repairing the tire whom the representative of this business assured me that my tire will be repaired for free since he claimed that there was a nail in the right front passenger side tire. I feel and believe that I was provided with a false statement and this is considered as fraudulent. The person who supposed to checked the air pressure did not do so. Instead I was brought inside the store and wanted me to replace the two tires immediately. In other words, making a sale. After this incident, as I got home my husband checked thoroughly of the tire and he did not see any nail. My husband will have other resources to have the tire, air pressure checked, etc. by the end of this week which is upcoming Saturday, February 2nd. Often times as a woman when I go to the dealer to have my car serviced, I get these suggestions to purchase parts or extra services that is not necessary.

      On June 26, 2023, I took my 2014 ****** Impreza to Discount Tire to repair a leaking tire. They told me that I needed to buy four new tires, which I did. The next day, my low tire pressure indicator was on again, so on June 29th, I took it back to Discount Tire. They told me that the problem was a faulty valve, which they replaced. I left directly from Discount Tire to norther *********, but before I got to *******, the low pressure light was on again. I filled the leaking tire twice before I reached the Discount Tire in ******. They told me that the problem was corrosion on the alloy wheels that prevented the tire from sealing properly and tried to sell me four new wheels. I was away from home and had my dog with me, so I asked whether there was any alternative. They said that they could try to clean up the tire and remount the tire but that they wouldn't guarantee the repair, and that's what they did. The tire has held air fine since then. Later, I went on line to find dozens of videos and articles addressing how to repair the very common problem of corroded alloy wheels-buff off the corrosion and seal the repaired area. Rather than give me this simple and common fix, Discount Tire preferred to sell me a very expensive and ineffective alternative.

      We will like to seek for the right type of service in our situation. www came in here three times in a row to replace a defective tire or a poor quality control after replacement. the business is just brushing off this problem but after 3x of changing the tire which cause our car to be totaled and injuries to myself due to the tire explosion. the tire had blew up 2 times on the same week. after we replaced it at the same America tire. we asked them to please make sure out car was working properly as it had happened multiple times. they said everything was okay. in reality that was no the case. after the tire explosion on December 17 2023, the airbags deployed which cause myself to get a chronic neck pain/ head concosuion.the neglect job and poor quality control wether in there tire manufacture or the business itself it has cause a lot of trouble in our lives the last few weeks. we would like to see if someone can take a look at our case and advise us what to do.we haven't been treated correctly and we haven't had anyone help us

      My appoint for new tires was scheduled through their online site. I arrived early and was told my appointment showed but there was an issue with payment. I showed them that my bank had the money on hold. ******* (tire employee) called his help desk. I ended up getting the tires without their system fixing issue. The next day my bank account showed the money back in my account. So I called ******* and payment was made over the phone. The money was taken out of my account on 2 Jan 24. Since then a new charge was submitted to my bank on 4,12 and now 20 Jan24. I spoke with ******* again on the 12th and the final resolution was its a glitch they cant fix and this would happen every 8 days until the end of the month. I spoke with **** their customer service today and was told its my banks problem not theirs. I told him our bank stated the request for payment was coming from them. **** told me I was wrong. I asked **** if this was so why is this happening every 8 days like ******* stated and he told me ******* did know what he was talking about either. I need this to stop. Im retired and each time this happens, my bank freezes my account due to lack of funds. Your help is greatly appreciated. You can contact me through my cell at ************ if need be. Thank you. Lastly the actual store and ******* were extremely supportive and did their best to help.

      2 tires purchased 10/18/2021 along with warranty of ****** miles. ******** mileage at time of purchase: ******. Current mileage as of 1/18/2024 is ******. Current tire measurement = 5-4-6. Based on the original warranty that was purchased and paid for, there is/was approximately 22% life to be left in the tire, yet store manager: ********************* and assistant managers: *********************** and ************************* have advised that tire can not be covered under warranty "because it would result in a loss towards the store" and instead offered a measly $3 credit towards the purchase of an additional tire (originally purchased at $182. I have received a second and also third opinion through Tires Plus and also ****** directly and been advised that not only will an alignment not restore/improve the tire condition, but at the same time not performing an alignment will drastically and immediately cause damage to the new tire that was installed as of today. As a longtime customer of **************************** years), it is not only hurtful to see that Discount Tire cares more about meeting their sales goals, than it does about customer service and ultimately consumer safety.

      My husband just purchased a 23 Escalade early 10- 2023. I was driving my son to school on NW Military, I hit a pothole. Blew out my rear tire. I had my vehicle taken to discount tire, as it was the closest. My family and I have been customers for years. 7 cars we trusted with them. I was confident the services would be professionally done. An employee by the name of ****, convinced me to purchase an additional spare tire. Even tho my vehicle had a new one. He said it would have been dangerous to ride on.I arrived back to the store, **** asked me to come inside the garage. He removed all 4 tires and rims to ensure my safety, and that no others were damaged. His words. He pointed out to me that the front *********** had been previously bent.Showed me, as the rim was on the machine. He said, that in the future it would be wise that i'd changed them. Waited outside, saw them put the rim inside the trunk.they didnt use the automatic close button on the tailgate.They forced it down.They drove my truck up, & rushed me to get in.They stood in front of the door,opened it for me blocking damage on front.That day, I noticed a large dent above the front passenger tire. As if something slammed into it.My vehicle hadn't been driven anywhere else then my sons school, in the in pick up line.didn't drive my Escalade after.I also noticed that the rim that was put in the back trunk had scratched the inside of the tailgate. The tech didn't stabilize the rim, or did he have it in any kind of protective wrap.called **** and he said, yes, the damages had to of been accidentally done there. As it had only been in their possession. The trolly wasnt wrapped enough to stop the force of the dent. Brought it to the store, they agreed. I contacted claims department, after months communication, measurements, videos photo, estimates for damage, the store denied damage. Claims ***** told me they weren't liable. They treated me disrespectfully. I felt like I was being taken advantage of as a woman.

      youre management did nothing. Except decide deny their responsibility of the damage (after taking fault). I was sent to the claims department and was given the run around for a while. All for them to deny the claim. 
      absolutely ridiculous and a waste of my time.

      Im aware of y'all's response. Im always fully aware of the negligence and failure of accepting responsibility for the damage of my vehicle. 
      Its been brought to my attention that Im not the only customer that has dealt with this type of issue. Im not the only customer that has left with their vehicle damaged. When I originally contacted the store about these damages, the technician apologized and took responsibility. That quickly changed when I spoke to their auto claims representative.
      I went out of my way and provided everything that was asked of me. I was extremely patient with the patient throughout the long process. Hoping to get this resolved and damages repaired. It was a huge waste of time. So unfortunate that you guys dont value your customers. The fact that your store hasnt even had the respect issue an apology is just beyond unprofessional and disgusting. 

      This is why I have made a complaint to the BBB. My efforts are to bring this to the attention of future customers, and especially women entering the business alone. I was completely taken advantage of, and disrespected.
      Customers need to be made aware the risks involved while their vehicles are in possession of discount tire. Moving forward, I hope the store starts treating customers with more value and respect. When you have a vehicle in your hands, it should be returned safely and without damages.
      Women shouldnt have to be afraid to walk into the store for service without their spouse. I cant imagine how yall treat senior citizens! 
      I will continue to press this issue.
