I purchased a code for 2 months of xbox ultimate from these crooks. Shocker, the code was already used when attempting to use it. I reached out and they told me to reach out to ********* over it to find out when the code was used as they need that info to refund me. Reach out to *********, who does confirm the code has been used, but can't give out the date as they don't see that. Okay, send screenshots of the conversation to these crooks as requested, only to not hear back for days, and when they finally do reply, it was to argue that ********* has to give me that info. I already sent you screenshots from ********* saying the code was used. I want my money back, or a code that actually hasn't been used.Initial Complaint

On January 25th 2023 I purchased a 1 year Playstation Plus code from this company for $49.99. I immediately tried to redeem the code and while Playstation said it was a code for 1 year of Playstation Plus it also said the code was NO LONGER VALID meaning they most likely sell expired codes. When I contacted CDKeys they said they would have to send my issue on to their escalation team (after the first email which implied I simply didn't know what I was doing and to try again). After their escalation team claiming that they don't give refunds I attempted to report the issue through PayPal who CDKeys just told the same thing "we don't do refunds for digital purchases".So they sold me a non-functioning, most likely expired Playstation Plus code. Instead of saving $10 I now paid $50 for something that doesn't work and they have no desire to fix the issue (I recommended a new code or a refund, both of which they shot down).These people are either scamming people by selling expired codes or they are completely ignorant to the fact that codes expire and that they need to keep an eye on their inventory. Either way it's not worth the risk when they will steal $50 from customers and do nothing but blame the customer for the faulty codes that they sell.Initial Complaint

On Monday, February 6, 2023, I placed an order for a PlayStationPlus 12 month subscription for *****. I never received a confirmation email from the company and never received the product; however, my credit card was charged. I contacted customer service at 11:46 a.m. EST. I placed an order with cdkeys.com on Nov 17 and the price was lowered few days later. I contacted customer service for a price adjustment and they refused even though the purchase was made just few days ago and still within the return window. On October 5th I ordered a 3 month Playstation plus subscription. I immediately tried to redeem it and it it gave me an error saying that the code was already used or invalid. I reached out to the support center online and they kept asking for different proof and I responded accordingly with each of their requests. They stopped responding to me. On September 29th, 2022, I purchased a digital download code for GTA 5 on Xbox for an upcoming birthday. When I attempted to redeem said code, I was greeted with an error message stating to contact the vendor whom I purchased the code from. That same day at 8:38 PM PST I submitted a support request. The initial response was prompt and I was told that the escalation team would be reaching out to me within 72 hours. By the end of the given timeframe, ****** was contacted again and as of October 6th, I have yet to receive a response. This is unprofessional. I understand that mistakes happen but to make no attempt to reconcile the situation is completely unacceptable and businesses such as this one should be held accountable.Initial Complaint

On 4/29, 2021, I purchased a 1-YEAR PLAYSTATION PLUS MEMBERSHIP for 28$. I used the code a few months later when my subscription was going to end for Playstation Plus, only to have an error from the Playstation Store. I contacted the CDKeys company, who told me that the Card had been used (by someone else). The only way this could happen was if the code wasn't secured or was sold by CDKeys to other customers.I've tried following up several times with them about this, with dropped emails, redirects to the wrong department, and a failure to resolve the issue or offer any recommendations to resolving the unauthorized resale of my purchase. I'm also begun contacting Playstation about the issue as well.
