I Enjoyed the company while I was using it but I went to another company about a year and a half ago. I got charged last year 2022, for the service I was not using. It was my fault I forgot to cancel my account. No problem I cancelled my account so this would not happen again. Then today I got charged again for 2023. I messaged them and she said she was there to help me. When I asked how I got no more responses. Do not Download Avast it is not worth the hassle and there are better programs out there.

I asked for a refund and ended up being shouted at by one of the representatives for AVAST. While I did get the refund (because I was in the 30-day refund period), I didn't get it for the previous months that I never authorized payment for or even remember signing up for. I never use antivirus or maintenance software because its bloatware, I'm not sure who signed me up for it or what happened. While I understand their "policy" I also know exceptions can be made. If the rep didn't gaslight and shout at me, I probably wouldn't be here writing this review. I wasn't allowed to speak to his supervisor, and he wouldn't even ask if an exception could be made. I run a business and in good business, you make exceptions for exceptional cases such as mine. Just my $0.02 on that matter. Send me $69.98 for the service I didn't authorize or use and I'll consider changing this review over to a 5 star. Someone should start a class action against these con artists you can find me here, Order ID: one two *************** seven zero seven seven three zero zero

In 11/2022, I had cancelled all my Norton products and in 2/2023 a charge showed up for ******. Husband had called and was told I needed to call to get this rectified (acct in my name). I called and I had to answer many questions to verify who I was and then give email address on acct. To finalize getting this taken off our credit card I had to give a hotmail address that we dont have. This is obviously fraud or maybe mischarge by Norton. Very dissatisfied that this could not be refunded. Husband will create fraud letter to credit card company. Norton case number 76292763.I have been getting email notices to sign back up for past 3 months, even though I cancelled services. Do not use this security software as once in, it is very difficult to get out and they will find new credit card # to charge. Expensive and much better products at lower costs.

I have had calls from others indicating someone was trying to use my info to open credit cards.I have receivd no notification from Lifelock. I called Lifelock and at first they said I wasn't a member then after me saying multiple times I am a member they finally found my membership. I asked why am I not being notified of any suspicious activity and they had no answer. I asked for a refund and they said no and your subscription will end in September. I said no why would I keep something that dose nothing. I want a refund. The said no. I asked for a manager and after about 20 minutes they are saying we are still waiting on a manager. Finally they came back and said we will have a manager call you back and your case # ************ hours later I still have not received a call. I want a refund

My subscription was "renewed" in 2017 to a laptop I haven't used since 2016, I caught the charges in 2023, they would not reimburse me for any of the years that Norton was on my dead computer. The fishy thing is we received a new credit card with a new expiration date, and they had that new date. All my other renewal subscriptions asked me for the new credit card information. I no longer use Norton and I will never use it again. I will be checking my charges however.

Tried to cancel 15 yr subscription today thru both website/my acct and by phone. 100% unsuccessful. Only concerned with "Why are you cancelling?" Cancelling thru my account impossible as well. Rudest, most unprofessional customer service EVER experienced! "Buyer Beware!"

I have been using Norton Antivirus for long time and when it came to renew, they sent me a link offering $49.99 for the renewal. When I clicked on the link, it was charging me $129.99, the full price. Only reason I caught it was because I clicked on the order summary. Otherwise, I would have been a victim of bait and switch. This is a terrible business practice and I will no longer use this company for protecting my phones, iPads, laptops, and PCs. I checked for other options to replace them and found several better offers with very high ratings.
