I'm currently on hold with GoDaddy now trying to resolve issues! It's been over an hour and a half I've been waiting to speak to a human. I remember 10 yrs ago when this company used to impress me with their customer service and ease of use. What a joke it is now in 2023!I'm being charged for Marketing/Websites I did not purchase! However I did by a domain, so clearly they somehow link the purchase of other items along with it at the time of my purchase! Then they make it impossible to navigate their "dashboard" to find how to turn these unwanted things off! I'm so disappointed in this company! So basically they auto select things for you that you didn't ask for, then give you seven days to catch these games they've played on you, then bam! They slap $119.99 on your saved credit card for this so called new subscription! They also like to reset your settings when you've gone in and turned off auto renew on certain domains, they just turn them all back on! It's been driving me crazy the last few years! I've told them time and time again! Shame on you GoDaddy!!!GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI canceled all my services with this company a year ago. I made it clear everything was canceled. I even had time left on the services, as they were prepaid but opted to cancel anyway. I removed all the information in my profile, including payment information so I could not be charged inadvertently. In the last couple of weeks I received a couple of emails saying.."you've got coming up this month.." and a link that was suppose to be to a summary. The link went no where because I don't have an account!Long story short, like others have said: even if you cancel and make it as clear as the day is long that you don't want to continue service with them, they still try to keep a relationship! And when you want an official confirmation that once and for all, they understand your cancellation request (from a year ago), won't attempt any further renewals going forward and that all your payment information has been deleted from their records, they refuse! What kind of company won't put in writing the status of your account with them and the fact that they removed your payment information based on your request....I say it's a company that you don't want to do business with.Review fromBret S

Seems Dan.com a “go daddy” company is swiping up domains from search history and trying to resell at higher prices…….very conflictedGoDaddy.com LLC

GoDaddy does not and has never participated in domain name "front-running" the act of registering domain names after a registration search is done in an attempt to profit from the domain. As domains are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, we encourage you to purchase any available domains you desire at the time they show as available for registration. Additionally, ***.com is not a domain registrar, but an aftermarket service. Customers can list their domains registered with any domain registrar for sale through ***.com. 1 starI hired GoDaddy to design my small business website for $1792.38 and after receiving the preliminary design I was shocked at the poor product that they delivered. I immediately called their services and requested a stop on the project. After multiple calls and emails I still couldn't get ahold of the point of contact *********************** regarding my refund. After 9 days I called my bank to dispute the charge for a product that they didn't deliver. I ************ back from **** that he was having technical difficulties via email. I scheduled a call the following day and after expressing the low quality and substandard backyard web design from ******** or ***** that they provided me **** informed me that if I wanted a refund they could refund me $1,000.00 back. DO NOT USE GODaddy for the design of your website, you will be disappointed.Review fromJohn Patrick S

I purchased my domain and webhosting from Godaddy.com and was told that it had the functionality I needed to run my business via the upgraded "Premium" plan. I upgraded to a Premium plan for five years and the site was a very basic template with very little to no customization features, and the two features I was promised it could do - package pricing tied to scheduling for a consulting business. I paid my money and committed to the five years. When I got in there to work on the features, they did not work. I spent two calls and over two hours with a customer service person to no avail. When I called back for a refund (after moving my site over to Wix - way better), they told me they couldn't refund me as it was the 31st day and I would have had to cancel on the 30th day. The terms of my upgrade were never shared with me by phone or in writing via email or receipt listing the 30 day rule. They would not flex on the 31st day and now I'm out a lot of money for five years for a service that doesn't work. BEWARE. Check out Wix or SquareSpace.GoDaddy.com LLC

I had purchased a domain from GoDaddy two years ago, ended up not using the domain and honestly forgot about it until I received an email stating that it was not going to be renewed due to invalid payment method. I thought okay, no need to update my info, I'll just let it cancel because I don't use it. Two months later I receive notification of charge. I asked for a refund and was denied. I did not wish to renew their service and intentionally chose not to update my info with the expectation of cancellation. I explained this to them and they still refused to make it right because it was not in their policy to do so.GoDaddy.com LLC

I turned off "auto-renew" on five of my GoDaddy domains. I get an email from GoDaddy a few hours later telling me the "Full Domain Privacy and Protection" that I've been paying $9.99 per year on each of these domains has been removed from my account. All of these domains were paid up-to-date. Some were even paid through **** and now I'm losing a service that I paid for, not to mention having to deal with possible identity theft issues. I never cancelled or deleted any of the domains, I simply opted-out of the auto-renew and now lost services I have already paid for.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starThis computer company is deceptive and a downright rip off! They try to manipulate people into spending too much money. Ive also seen people posting on their website that they automatically made certain services auto pay which if Im not mistaken, is not particularly legal unless you get the permission of the owner. It seems to me that making the decision that that person is going to pay that amount every month or year or whatever, is in effect stealing. Ive gotten so jerked around by them, but Im just at the end of my road. I really want to warn the industry how devious they are and how they should not be used!
