I registered a domain name and a website on Godaddy, Godaddy accepted payments for all related subscriptions and add-ons. One of my customer paid $600 which ******************** will take a cut from as fees. However I received an email after a few days saying I should provide certain details to receive my deposit, I provided those details and then got the response below. "Due to a violation of GoDaddy Payment's risk policy, your account as a GoDaddy Payments merchant has been terminated. Effective immediately, you can no longer process payments or access your GoDaddy Payments account. We will be refunding all undeposited settled transaction(s) and/or voiding all undeposited unsettled transaction(s) made to your customers. If you choose to recharge your customers, you will need to make other arrangements.For additional information, please feel free to visit the link below:"Godaddy also refused to explain what the exact violation was and they have seized the $600 payment I would like to take this matter to court as this is painful and sad, why would you treat a merchant customer so horribly. GoDaddy cancelled my business domain name of 20 years! Auto-renew system clearly didn't work. They blame it on my negligence. They sent me a final cancelation notice to the email attached to already canceled domain name, pure incompetence! Had many issues with GoDaddy in the recent past but this one has just ruined my small business! I can buy back my domain name now for nearly 8k. ***GoDaddy.com LLC

Furthermore, GoDaddy must rely upon our customers for information we would otherwise be unaware of, such as the closing of your business or the use of a new email address. I have had a terrible experience with them. I have waited to get resolution on a fairly simple password reset. I have sent Id pics, selfie Id pics, texted with reps and it still isnt resolved. I told them the reset link didnt work and they told me to let customer service know instead of helping me. At this point cancel my service I have my domain email and website with them. I wasted over 30 days on this matter. Outsourcing and oversaturation hampered my customer service experience.GoDaddy.com LLC

They run a sleazy business - I have 3 emails to my account - they kept duplicating and sometimes triplicating my emails in my outlook inbox and then notified me I was out of space and kept upgrading me to more expensive levels. Their tech support messed up my desktop outlook account to the point that I can no longer access it. And now that I am trying to sign up with ****** workspace they refuse to assist with the ************* has been 2 days now and my business has come to a halt.GoDaddy.com LLC

GoDaddy runs a very deceptive renewal process for domain names. After being with them for over a decade, they automatically enrolled me in their auto-renewal program this year without my knowledge. It took an hour (including 45 minutes on hold) to get this worked out, and I am still not certain it has been worked out, because the only receipt they emailed me says I'm enrolled in auto-renew.Avoid this deceptive and manipulative corporation. They even take advantage of their long-time customers. Viewing and making changes to your account on their cryptic website is difficult, and navigating their renewal process is a study in customer exploitation. And forget about trying to get someone on the phone in a timely manner-- their phone lines are tied up with customers complaining about their deceptive website.GoDaddy.com LLC

If I could give a negative 20 stars I would. I have been locked out of my business emails for a month now!!! I have sent them the documents that they asked for and every time I call them. They say they did not receive the email with the documents. I called yesterday and sat on the phone with a rep that claimed he was emailing someone and said they received the email with the documents and that I will receive a email in a hour. Well 24hrs+ here we are!!! I called them today and ******* today told me that they did not receive the email and that I will need to email them my EIN and ID. I told them I am not sending anymore information. I already sent in more than enough information. I told him let me talk to a manager. He put me on hold for about 45 mins then came back and asked are you still there, then he hung up on me and Here I am. I have no way of retrieving important business emails!! I trusted this crooked company. C*** on little guy he is not important!!!GoDaddy.com LLC

I don't even know where to start. I've contacted support about 6 times for the same issue. got told it would be done in 48 hours, 2 weeks ago. Called and finally got that issue resolved despite the other support line giving an entirely different solution and not following up on it at all. Now with that issue resolved, their 2 factor authentication is broken despite me getting a text and attempting this about 6 times. All of these issues for only attempting to change *********** on a DNS. Their support is incompetent at best unable to even solve a account related issue, while their systems don't even work when I can change things.GoDaddy.com LLC

Godaddy has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I can never be helped or have my questions answered. I've called many times and no one knows what is going on, My funds are being held and no one knows why and godaddy will not release them to me. My funds have been held since Oct.13 2022. Today is Nov.9,2022. I have got NO emails nor any type of contact explaining the situation of the HOLDING of my funds. WTH is going on!!!!email me something, please.GoDaddy.com LLC

Notified me that they cannot renew my (unused) domain registration because my credit card is expired. I took this as no action required on my part because I did not want to renew.Later they charged my card anyhow. No refunds.GoDaddy.com LLC

Absolutely ***** theft, they keep renewing a domain that has been closed for years. They send you through impossible hoops to cancel. I was on the phone for an hour, I gave ALL the information, and I couldn't receive a 4-digit code on text or email, and therefore they did not cancel, after I gave them the form of payment, exact amount, and date of purchase.
