      GoDaddy ordered a renewing product on my credit card. I found the charges on month two. Their customer service refused to refund the ******** never ordered the product.

      Terrible customer service. I cancelled all products months ago. I received an email today, stating I would be auto charged for renewal. I emailed, no response. I called, I was told there was a 21 minute wait. I held on the line for 45 mins, no answer. I texted (was told I was texting with a fellow human) with my account number name etc. The human who was texting me in response asked me four times for my account number. I asked repeatedly to be placed in contact with someone who could assist me to no avail.

      Worst customer service experience till now, Their team is not professional after when we created and published website and pay for the domain and all other charges they are not supporting in solving complaints and everyone is forwarding calls to other team member and when asked for supervisor they never interested to talk to their own customer, we received several ticket numbers without resolution since 09/25/2022.Our business is impacting and we did a big mistake trusting GoDaddy.

      I have worked with a number of website servicing companies over the last many years. I used to trust GoDaddy and appreciate their fast response to issues.All of my trust is now gone. Their invoice did not reflect the amount of what I was told when taking over an account and adding services. Their invoice amounts did not match the amounts they billed my credit card, both in ******** dollars. My credit card company forced them to refund everything. Even when they were instructed (an option selected on our account on their website) that they were not to automatically renew their services, they did anyway.I conclude that they are far more interested in making a profit than they are in serving their customers.

      I have been a customer for years. However, each year their customer service and support team get worse. Up to the point that I can't take it anymore. My most recent interaction with this company has been going on for two weeks so far. (Not resolved yet) We lost our group email service. Making impossible to get emails from our website. So, I tried to open a service ticket. To do that I needed to authenticate with two step verification. Well, we don't own the number anymore. So, I made a request to get rid of two step verification. Godaddy ask that I submit a copy of my driver's license and other corporate documents so that they can verify who I am. (fair enough). In the request page it says that the process could take up to 72 hours. Well, my friends, that was two weeks ago.I call every day to follow up with customer service. They give me the same rehearsed answer every time. "We are sorry, but you have to wait" " we have many requests some have more priority than yours" In the meantime, what can I do to fix my email issue? "You have to wait" Can I open a ticket since I just need to have something fixed not changed? "Sorry you have to wait until we get back to you".Well guess what I will do the second I regain access to my paying account? Leave this company... Damage has already been done.I hope that management does something to correct this mean behavior. It is not pro customer or productive. Eventually it will catch up and grow into a snowball. Best of luck, you will need it. I should have read the BBB's reviews before I hired these folks....

      RUN, RUN, RUN as fast as you can!!RUN RUN RUN , GODADDY IS A SCAM COMPANY, NEVER BUY A PREMIUM DOMAIN FROM THEM.RUN, RUN, RUN as fast as you can!!This must be the biggest SCAM I every had. If you read this review and still get scammed, it would really be a shame that you fell for their big name.Never ever make a mistake buying a domain from Godaddy, They are thieves and can digest your premium domain, I have a premium domain on my business website with massive SEO traffic on it, I had invested Thousands of $ in 3 years in regard to SEO of that domain, the domain is under my ownership since 2019 and out of the blue I got an email that my website is under some malware attack and we are suspending your domain.I had a word with the support and they assured me that you can access to your domain within 72 hours. I got another email after 72 hours that we have permanently deleted your domain without any reason and justification.They have pathetic customer support, they don't respond on chat and on call. One of the worst companies I have ever encountered.I am a domain collector and moving all my 100s domains to a better company, I can't risk my domains with such an unworthy company.

      I am a widow and was approached by a godaddy broker to sell my website. I had received several offers over the last few years and had declined them, as the website hosted a television that my late husband produced. I began to get higher offers and declined several times. Finally, out of curiosity I asked what would the website be used for and they told me a theater group. I had asked for a high price for the website as we had had the website for decades and had built a following and I explained my situation as a widow continuing the legacy and that I would need to be compensated accordingly, so I gave my figure. It was said this company did not have the budget to meet my budget so they offered about 80% below my price. As a nonprofit leader and understanding the struggles of that I was willing to consider it if the offer would be reasonable and allow me to further my husbands legacy. I explained all of the elements needed for me. It was emphasized that my offer was out of the range of the company and they raised the offer slightly, and i refused again. As it was presented like their budget was exhausted, I asked for a number, they still pretended like they could not reach that number, so I agreed to a number, attempting to be sensitive to this "theater group" who seemed to desperately want the domain. I accepted the offer based on these pretenses and the process per the email stated the steps were to accept, for the funds to be received, then the domain transferred. So next thing I know I get an email -- your domain has been sold! Then the next thing I see that the new owners --- a billion dollar company, has taken over my website. So, I never transferred the domain, it was just taken. They are advertising and selling tickets while I am still waiting to receive anything. The broker told me this was the process. In what world can someone take possession of your house, move in, and not get paid? Then I also found the broker acts on behalf of the buyer!

      Save yourself from this misery. They tripled the cost of our cost for domain and emails without a notice Terrible customer service reprehensive who we spoke to on 10/10/2022 at 11:00 am PST. The customer service was speaking on top of us and not letting us speak. Extremely Rude and impulsive. We are switching from them. The experience was terrible and the cost is unbelievably high. bad practices of renewing on a higher price without sending a notice to us in advance. Their reviews speaks of itself.

      Thank you, godaddy, for teaching me such a valuable ******* never, ever, be willing to part with your money until you have fully understood what paying for a domain really means. We paid "high real estate" for our online domain. Enough money that I could have put a down payment on an actual house. Despite us still being active customers, and having the real estate, since our "hosting coverage" lapsed during coivd, they refuse to "host" or put our website up, claiming they have lost our website information and we would need to pay them again to "host" and well as "create" the website...that they destroy the work within 30 days! I call ********.Compare this to a secondary website, just for federal contractors, which we obtained around the same time as our goDaddy "high end" real estate...huh, they seemed to know who we were and had still saved all our web domain info. For 5% of the cost with GoDaddy! Big scam. Please stay away. Hardest ****** I have ever learned. Thank you, godaddy, for treating your customers with such trash that I learned never, ever, to spend money on real estate, online, again!

      Approximately 2 weeks ago I purchased 4 domains for my business. Not one of these domains has been published as I am stumbling along this new venture of taking my business to the web. Today, I noticed that one of those domains was missing an "s" at the end of the name. The rest of the domains are correct. Godaddy told me that they could not add the "s" at the end of the incorrect domain. And that I would have to purchase the correct domain for an additional $114 if I wanted to add the "s". This is poor business.
