I had the absolute worse experience with customer service of ********************** today. I am very concerned with the genuine nature of their business. They misquoted me several times in our text chat and tried to hide several hidden charges. The customer service agent I was speaking with was very unethical. I need to use them for our domain website, but would be very weary about their charges and make sure you know exactly what you are paying for as they try to hide hidden fees.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI've been a Godaddy customer for a few years buying several goods and services for a number of my domains. Was charged a renewal for a full year on a web domain in November 2024 which I then cancelled the service a month later. They refuse to credit my account or offer any kind of compensation even though I prepaid service through November and we're currently in March. There is no one to speak to in the US since all their customer service is outsourced via virtual assistants outside the country. As of this message I have now been on the phone with them for over four hours combined and been lied to several times by their virtual assistants. So far I've been hung up on twice and I have in no way shape or form elevated my tone of voice or used a single curse word. I've been in the telemarketing industry for nearly two decades and their virtual assistants clearly perform techniques meant to wear you out and hang up. What's even worse is the beforementioned behavior is not just from the ground level reps but supervisors as well. The most frustrating experiences of my life have been on the phone with GoDaddy. You spend an average of 45 mins to two hours on the phone with them every time you call in and do not get anywhere. Talk to heavy accent agents all over the world and get transferred all over just to have another agent ask you to upgrade to marketing services that you just forcefully signed up for 30 minutes prior. It's absolutely mind boggling how these people stay in business.GoDaddy.com LLC

I recently had a frustrating experience with GoDaddy, where they charged me $232 without my authorization or a clear explanation. When I reached out to their customer support to request a refund, they refused, citing their strict no-refund policy.Their lack of flexibility and unwillingness to work with customers is disappointing. Many other hosting and domain providers offer better refund policies and customer service. If youre considering **********************, be very cautious about their automatic renewals and billing practices. I wouldnt recommend them based on this experience.GoDaddy.com LLC

As of today (03/19/25) I have seen the online ads from GoDaddy about a free smart terminal for business if you want to process with us. This is pretty clear right? I have scrolled through the website and they even has a comparison chart of CC processing next to their competitors like ****, ****** and so on. I have chatted with them for almost 1 hour and got all the information. Anyhow, when I asked for the free smart terminal, the person didn't have a clue and asked me to send her a screen shot, which I did. Then she said oh yeah, its a promotion and I forgot about it. Long story short, she had asked me to call tomorrow for setup since she is just an online chat platform. I called two people so far at GoDaddy and found our it's a scam about free terminal. They are even putting ads on social media about a free terminal and when you call them, they say the promotion has ended, or send us a screen shot or find some excuse. I am so shocked how they are getting away with it. The are a website builder and now promoting hard for CC processing. I am warning everyone, not to go with this company, they started something with scam, God knows what else they are gonna do. If the company is not honest about their work, then surely they will s**** you Sooner or later. This is not about any account. I called ******************** to start a new account for credit card processing. But Godaddy has misleading ads online saying we will provide you with a free credit card terminal if you start processing with us today. Once called, Godaddy gives run around and says this offer is not valid, or it only for customers who does X** amount of volume. This is false advertisement. I want all customers to know how your company is handling the business. Not to trust a company who start with false ads.Review fromOlha A

They are scammers. They dont respond on my call to support, I waiting every time 45 minutes and after that they just hang up phone. Their call managers ***** and **** were rude with me today and just ignored my questions hang up phone twice.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starDo not use godaddy. Use any other hosting provider. Everytime I have to do anything with my website, I have to call and go back and forth with their service technicians to get basic updates done. They technicians have no idea what they're doing so it forces me to have to call back, wait on the phone for hours, and then hope they did basic updates correctly. I've also been charged for services that I have not received, so be sure to keep an eye on your bank statements for random charges! Terrible service, long wait times, fraudulent charges. It's almost like they intentionally do bad work to waste your time so you're tempted to just let charges go. SERIOUSLY SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY AND GO WITH ANY OTHER PROVIDER.Review fromKathryn M

This morning I was surprised to find that I couldn't get into my godaddy email. I found out that my account had expired, but never got a notice from them about renewal. I spent an hour texting with someone there about how to get the account renewed. I did what they told me to do, only to find out that it would take THREE DAYS before my account would be reactivated! I called the customer service line and apparently my hysterical response to their automated question "How can we help" prompted a REAL PERSON to speak to me. He told me my account would be active in 20 MINUTES! We'll see what happens. Once I get it back, I'm immediately going to start shift to gmail. This has been the most frustrating online experience I've had in a very long time, and I've had plenty of frustrating experiences!GoDaddy.com LLC

I have attempting to resolve this issue for over a year. I can continually being charged Canadian banking fees on my account I have contacted them numerous times to resolve the issue. On each occurrence I have be assured that the problem has been taken care of, but it has not!!!Since the changed formats...from GoDaddy to ********* I cannot access my GoDaddy account.. I have been charged for ********* 365 when I have it on my computer already. I am still being charge for ********* email which I am being charged for which I cannot access.I called them 3 times today on the first two I was left on hold -- person assisting did not answer back after hearing my problem he just left me hanging never getting back to ****** the third call I asked to speak to a supervisor.. none available!! Explained my problem sent me to a website that asked me to provide personal identifiable information. Again, closed the conversation that I would not be providing personal identifiable information and to have a supervisor contact **** have been a customer for over 20 some years!!GoDaddy.com LLC

Not sure how Go Daddy has an "A" rating for their company...but you can buy anything these days.I signed up for the Payment Processing and the first transaction was under $1,500 and a complete disaster. The onboarding took over an hour and we explained to the *** that we intended to use the instant transfer that day on our first transaction. The *** had no idea that ***** (the company that connects the bank accounts) creates a Merchant account number that no one has access to or knows. The Go Daddy on boarding *** also did not know that when you attempt to register for "instant pay out" you must enter in the Merchant account number (that nobody knows or has access to) in order to then add a debit card and receive your instant pay out. So, the only way to sign up for the instant pay out is by manually adding one's business checking account instead of relying on *****. The *** also didn't know or care to explain that the processing for the instant payout takes 24 hours.Did I mention that I was on the phone from 8am to 1pm trying to resolve this issue?Was it everyone's first day at work? **************** is unacceptably slow and uninformed.Onboarding for the Payment Processing was a waste of time and now they've lost a customer.I will never use this service again.GoDaddy.com LLC
