Our 1 ton minisplit was not blowing cold air. NextGen AC sent a technician to check it out. Upon arrival, the technician began blowing hot air about how the compressor wasn't working. I listened for it and heard it running. I asked him, are you sure it's not working? I hear it running, it sounds like a compressor in a refrigerator, right? And he changed the subject and said there's no more freon, and there is no way to troubleshoot if there are leaks or not. The leaks could be anywhere and its too hard to check. There's no way that it would be economical to recharge the freon because it will just leak out. He also wouldn't check the age of the minisplit. The only solution is for them to replace the whole system. His estimate was around $7000. I thanked him for his time.Next day, I had another AC company come out, and he charged to replace the 4 pounds of refrigerant (R410a) and everything else looked fine to him. We have cold air coming out of the minisplit again. The cost was $500. I'm content with the price as another company said it would be around $600 for the same recharge and maintenance service.

***, I will have my service manager contact you shortly to review this. this is definitely not how our employees are trained. I can say after reviewing the photos of your system there are numerous code violations with the installation of this unit which could be leading to why ************** didn't want to accept liability working on the system. My recommendation is to have the contractor that installed the system come and redo the installation correctly.

$400 / hour for their plumbing work on my kitchen sink drain line seemed excessive. ***** (the service tech) did a very nice quality job. Started off as an $80 unplug the kitchen sink drain and ended up with a $2500 bill....somewhat justified due to problems beyond his control but what should have been at best a $1200 job was jacked way up for their profit. The snake that they tried to used had no "pig tail" on the end to protect the drain line in my building. Their plumbing snake had just the bare cable end that if used would tend to poke a hole in my pipe. I directed them to use my own Milwaukee snake so as not to damage my building. Almost seemed like they wanted to cause serious plumbing repair damage to my build up the price of their work. When I called to complain they never returned my telephone call....I will never use NexGen again!

YOU'LL NEED TO TAKE OUT A LOAN IF YOU USE THESE GUYS!!! NexGen AC&Heating came out to fix our Payne AC which would not turn on. Their tech said our wiring from the thermostat to the Furnace was faulty, and it would cost $1200 to move our thermostat to a new location upstairs with new wiring, however, if I gave him a good review on their website, he could cut the cost to $1064. The wiring from thermostat to furnace costs about $50, the rest is labor, which took about 3 hours (that's $338/hr for labor)!!! After all that, it still did not work. So ***** the tech then started working outside on the condenser/ compressor, and showed me a black part called a contactor (cost is $60) that he said needed to be replaced. However, he called it a Main Current Controller in my invoice, which he charged me an additional $505 for, and it took about 20 minutes to replace it (that's $22/minute in labor). After replacing the black contactor in the condenser/compressor, it worked perfectly. So, I paid $1569, of which only $110 was for parts, and the NexGen company spent 3.5 hours of labor at a whopping profit of $448/per hour. I don't know of anyone that makes $448/hr., especially a blue-collar worker. These guys are criminals, DON'T USE.

*****, I sure wish we made the profits you claim in this post. sadly we are lucky to make 10% after we pay for all the costs involved in running a construction company in **********. its sounds like you are un happy with the price you paid but are happy with the service my company gave to you? we were there to answer the phone when you called us, we had a dispatcher ready and available to make sure the right tech showed up to your home in a reliable and well stocked van. His uniform was clean and presentable. he was well trained in the trade to provide solutions to your problems and even to do said repairs on site. there's a host of other people working hard to make sure you are taken care of in a timely and professional manner. keep in mind the repair options and pricing were all presented to you for approval prior to us performing the repairs. you approved all work done and pricing prior to us doing anything. I do take offense to the fact you call us criminal and minimize us as being "blue collar workers" hinting blue collar are worth less money. but will give you this tidbit, we do pay very well as we want the best in our trade to work here and they are worth EVERY *****. I 100% stand behind my pricing and know its competitive for our industry. you might not see the value but we are in thousands of homes every month taking care of people so I can rest assured we are doing the right thing for our clients.

I would NEVER suggest to anyone to use NEXTGEN. My sink would get blocked and for once I called for help to see if they could help me. It was a problem. I was for them taking care of it. They needed to do cleaning to the toilets, showers, sinks etc, Stinky! As an old senior lady, I don't do some things anymore. It started out ok but in a matter of hours all s*** hit the fan. I was in a back bedroom keeping busy and downsizing things. I heard something and went out to take a look.A BIG man was in my heater door was tearing everything apart! I asked the "Big question" why are you in my house and why are you in my heater closet??? Basically, it wasn't my business according to him. He threatened me that my heater unit was illegal and other stuff. He will contact the government about this unless I take care of the problems...NEW HEATER UNIT THREAT. So, I had no choice. I never understood why they needed 3 people every day when ONLY ONE person did the work.My bill came to $38,910.00 - SEEMS quite high. However, I'm paying it because I wanted to be THROUGH WITH THEM!!! I will never contact them for anything or refer them. Now I was contacted - they are demanding that I pay them $80,000!!! NO WAY - I don't have money like that. $39,000.00 isn't enough for them??? They have to be kidding!I'm alone, I pay for the house thanks to a jerks like above; I don't have family/friends-they have passed on. I've lost a lot weight for some reason and I can't afford smaller clothes. I eat small amounts to save money - no restaurants or fast food for many years especially with the covid days. Their business should be closed! Please leave me alone!

Our air conditioner stopped working. This company came said we might have a leak of refrigerant, said he'd repair it, if the repair didn't work would have to see if there was a bigger problem. After the supposed repair he said it could be a problem with the coils, to make a long story short he ended telling us we needed a new condenser. Called his supervisor to give us the price. The supervisor came in with used car salesman tactics said a new condenser would costs around 25k.coukd try to get a discount, kept saying he'd probably get in trouble with the boss for such a great discount etc. Ended up telling us it would cost 20k. Nothing felt right with us he kept pushing saying we neded it soon before the summer heat started, was starting to get upset because I was not ok with the price. Finally we said thank you but no thank you. Had another company come out. Found out the person from nexgen spilled refrigerant oil all over the floor outside, did not place any of the caps back on left a compartment on the condenser with the screws off, and took one of the compressors. Turns out our condenser was perfectly fine all we need was a new motor replaced in the attic. A problem that according to nexgen would cost us 20k, only ended costing us $1500. Our air conditioner is running perfectly fine now. Shame on NexGen for trying to scam my elderly father.

****************** have been trying to get a permit since July 2021. The ************** came out to issue me a permit but there was work that needed to be completed in order to get my permit. I have contacted Nexgen many times and someone is suppose to call back. Recently ********* came out and looked and took pictures of the work that needed to be completed. Did not hear back so as many other times I had to reach out to Nexgen for a update which I was told a engineer will call you before the day is up. No one has called back! I have issued Nexgen all emails and documents from the ************** and myself. I am in the process of getting a lawyer, but I first wanted to reach out to the BBB for assistance.

NexGen Air Conditioning*Plumbing*Heating in ******* does not live up to the advertising on their many billboards. In October 2022 my elderly aunt contacted them to check one leak under her 600 square foot manufactured home. The NexGen employee used hard sell scare tactics to convince my aunt that she needed many more plumbing repairs, including a complete copper repipe and all new shut off valves, and that the work had to be done immediately. NexGens price was $18,500, and there was no signed contract. Most of the work was done the next day without a permit; then the NexGen employee harassed my aunt until the invoice was paid in full, even though the work was still not completed. Two months later they pulled the permit with an incorrect drawing. A letter I sent resulted in a text from NexGen telling me that the job was sold correctly. I had hoped to negotiate a partial refund on my aunts behalf, but you cant negotiate with a company who wont return your phone calls. I would not recommend this company.

**************** reviewed the project files and found that Nexgen performed all work to the agreement and the permit delays were the fault of the building department. unfortunately, we share those same frustrations but do our best to work with them the best we can. if there are any issues with the system, please have you aunt call us.

They installed a ac and heater back in September 2021 and while the ac works good every winter the heater can not keep up with the cold temps it takes about 5 minutes to really even start to blow warm air I called back a year after due to me researching and heater going to auxiliary heat during really cold times and I called they sent someone out and they tried to blame my insulation and tryed to charge me a lot more it is a electric heater and they said would work efficiently I would stay away due to them also saying they will look into it and give me a call back its about three months and yet I still have not got a call back if you live in high desert stay away once warranty is up they will just ghost you my kids will get a cough due to cold air just coming out for straight 5 to 10 minutes before blowing warm air if you have kids be aware.

DONT USE OR TRUST THESE GUYS!!Called NEXGEN (*******) for a checkup on a furnace that occasionally wouldnt light. After 5 hours of troubleshooting, bill was $1,340 for ~$150 in parts (inducer motor) and labor, but furnace was still NOT reliable and NOT fixed. Next steps suggested by NEXGEN were to replace another 2 parts for an additional $1,340 for a control board and $300 for a pressure switch. Then the hard up-sell started with replacing an 11-year-old furnace for $10,000 by the service manager!! We said enough with these guys. Furnace was subsequently fixed by an independent tech with a $30 pressure switch plus an hours worth of labor. Dont be scammed like us for $1,340 and still be stuck with a broken furnace.
