      Denied my homeowner claim. Purchased sewer line coverage from the house to the street. the line became compomised, adjuster stated it was a clog then no where to be found. No adjuster was assigned for weeks. Line needed to be fixed, had reapairs done. sent video. Still being denied. No manager will speak to me. Terrible terrible terrible!

      So my Mom is 87yrs old. She's had Mercury Home Ins for more than 10yrs, she's only used it 1 time.. I filed her Claim for Home repairs in June 2023 They denied her flat!! We recvd letter stating that that's not part of the contract.. Instead of helping after my Moms been paying them for yrs, they're trying to Cancel my Moms homeowners Insurance because We were never able to repaired the damage part We asked them to help us with.. Has anyone had this same issue with Mercury?? Please do tell, We truly need help on this claim. What

      I do not recommend Mercury Insurance Company. This company is awful. I filed a homeowners claim and had questions, I have called and left numerous messages with the person who was in charge of my claim and also left messages with a supervisor, no one has responded. I will be leaving this company and looking for a company who actually cares about their customers.

      DESPISES ITS CUSTOMERS. NO GRACE PERIOD, NOT EVEN ONE DAY, FOR PAYMENTS. CANCELS POLICY, FORCING UNDERWRITERS TO REWRITE. IF YOU INSURE WITH MERCURY, YOU ARE BOUND TO REGRET YOUR DECISION!

      Im not a customer, but I am the person who got rear ended while stopped at a red light . And even with a civil case in place . A solution or an upfront honest company action. . Even tho Im not a customer this is bad business practice. Its been 3 years and just now maybe seems like we are coming to a solution . Yet still waiting on there reply

      Due the INITIAL low cost to insure our cars, we have had Mercury for years. However, within this last year, rates increased significantly with no justification so I decided to look for a lower cost alternative. I was covered through July 31, 2023, and on August 1, 2023 we switched over to Liberty Mutual. To my surprise, on August 8, 2023, Mercury Insurance sent me a notice, stating your coverage will terminate on August 19, 2023. After I informed them that I have new insurance with Liberty Mutual as of August 1, 2023, I received another notice stating now that I owe $64.66 which must be made by September 16 or it will go to a collection agency. I have called the billing department twice without success of getting any resolution. Ive also contacted my local insurance broker, but since I selected Liberty Mutual on my own, the insurance broker said I have to deal with Mercury directly.We are a family that has always tried to do the right thing and it is not common for me to provide negative feedback on any company. Mercury Insurance is the worst company weve ever had encountered!

      Very deceptive and unscrupulous business practices. Rather than simply paying the proposed market value minus deducible on the automobile total loss claim, they attempted to deduct several thousand dollars in storage fees and withheld payment. When I pointed out that there is a ***** regulation specifically making this illegal (the insurance company is required to pay any storage fees, not the insured), they invented a $300 non covered exclusion for an administrative fee. My insurance agent and everyone I know who has received a total loss payment has never seen and reduction in the agreed market value beyond the deductible.

      If I could give negative stars I would. Been in the Restoration business for 20 years and I have never seen an insurance company treat their insured so poorly. We have been working with a home owner on their claim and we cannot get them to return our or the home owners calls since may. Do Not get this insurance and if you do and get the following people assigned to your claim refuse them and have them reassigned. Worst adjusters ever: ******************************* adjuster manager ever: *************************

      Claim CAPA-******** Absolutely terrible experience!!! The worst and likely unethical as well.I was rear ended on August 14th in ********** by a Mercury policy holder and I contacted Mercury that day. They acknowledged my claim in writing on August 15th. I gave them all my information requested showing I live in *******.I returned to **************** from my trip on August 15th and went directly to the body shop that ******** Chrysler Dodge referred me to. The shop prepared an estimate. took pictures and forwarded them to the Mercury rep by email. We didn't hear anything back so I called on Friday to find that the rep was off for 2 days till Tuesday August 22nd. Upon getting in touch with the rep he stated he didn't receive the estimate but did get the pictures. I looked at the shops email and it has both pictures and estimate attached. If the rep didn't get the estimate why didn't he call and say so?The rep stated he got 2nd email and would review it then told me on the 24th it was going into the review process that would take one or two days. Finally on the 30th the rep said since I'm in ** (which Mercury knew from the beginning) they needed an independent appraiser to provide an estimate.An appraiser called on August *********************** a bad reception area. I tried to call back probably 30 times and the call doesn't go thru or to a message machine. I had the body shop try and the same thing, it disconnects at 2 seconds. The phone # is (-----). I called the Mercury rep and left a voicemail that the appraiser was not reachable on the 31st at 12:13PM.A few hours later after not hearing I turned the claim over to my ******** agent and they got right on it. That will cost me my claims free discount due to Mercury's ineptness! I've still not received another call from Mercury or their appraiser. It's now 21 days since becoming a victim of a Mercury policy holder.Terrible Experience

      They are horrible!!! Keep getting transfers from adjuster to adjuster!!!?? Very unprofessional. Left documented voice mails to supervisor ( ******************) who denied she received my calls.. I dont know what we are going to do about the damages to our home as of now, but looking into getting an attorney to avoid anymore runaround . If you have this company I highly suggest you drop them. I cant imagine what families will do in a total loss. Ours wasnt that bad so we dont understand why they r doing this to us. Not right on every level. So upset They are asking me to leave a Sat rating in order to leave this review. I give them a 0 but will leave one star because I have to
