      Absolutely horrible company after changing from Great Call. I called to get a new Jitterbug for my 87 year old Mother since hers stopped working. They sent a new one, we got it set up and she was able to keep her number, great! Then they send her another new phone instructing her to replace the existing phone. She was confused, so sent the perfectly good , connected one back. She has not had service on the new phone for months ,since I need to call for her. I called to set up service on the second new phone. They told me she had ordered the 2nd phone and couldn't keep her number. She does not know how to call, so she did not order the phone. Then they say another phone is coming in September that she ordered. Are you kidding me ? *** instructed her not to accept any additional phones. I was on the phone with a representative for an hour with no resolution. I've attempted to call customer service several times and sit on hold waiting for a supervisor for ***** minutes. Each representative I've spoken with has been incredibly rude. Seniors have a hard enough time without having to deal with such an incompetent and uncaring company. Do not use lively for your loved one ! Still no resolution and she has a phone that doesn't work, no connection and being charged for it !

      HORRIBLE COMPANY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS. Their phone was returned within the 2week time frame and they continue to bill and say data was used when it WAS NOT. Now a senior's credit card will be terminated because there were NO FUNDS to pay for their fraudulent charge. Part of the issue is because they partner with BEST BUY who gave differing information.

      I would never recommend this phone service. My family and I have been fighting with them for months for reliable phone service for my over 90 year old father. My father lives alone and needs a reliable phone, but the Jitterbug/Lively phone has not worked; he was unable to receive calls; calls went directly to voice mail, but he had no idea a call had come in; messages were not recorded. He was left high and dry without service.The equipment has not worked; Best Buy will not/cannot refund the purchase without a letter from Lively; Lively will not refund the purchase...only send one a new phone. After spending hours on the phone today with customer service to try to resolve a "known" issue, I gave ** in disgust and cancelled with Lively/Jitterbug and went with another phone service. If they 'know' about the issues, they should make their customers aware of them; if tech services is unable to correct the issues, they should disband their company! I agree with every review posted here...beware of this company.

      lively says that phone connects you when pressing 0 to a person who connects you to a rideshare service called lyft that you can call when you need a ride. this service does not work and operators at lively are not able to hook me up with this. this is only problem that concerns me with the phone otherwise i am satisfied

      When you call them they tell you you have unlimited talk and text then they charge you overage on your data not fair because thats a lie then when you call them on it, they act like they dont told you all this. Thats a lie so I had the phone shut off and getting a cheaper, better phone from ******** so yall be careful when yall believe their ads because their ads are lies

      I feel like this company takes advantage of the elderly. I've tried to cancel the phone service multiple times and still keep getting billed. We had to put a stop payment on at the bank to keep them from charging us. Please do not let your family members use this service.

      Purchased a phone from Best Buy and also bought a monthly plan for $34.99, both on August 5 2023, at the same time. The phone was defective and returned the same day. Was told that Lively would have to refund their portion. I emailed Lively and received a reply that Best Buy would have to refund me. Went back and forth for 5 days, never received a refund. Wrote Lively again on August 10 2023 and instructed them that their service was never used, obviously I would lose my initial payment, but DO NOT charge my card again. Yesterday, Sept 6 2023, they processed another charge. This is unacceptable and unprofessional in my opinion. I want my payments fully refunded.

      Terrible customer support.Not helpful at all AFTER they messed up a phone number transfer.Now Im left completely WITHOUT my phone number for the next 3 days.AFTER 3 hours on the phone with them today - Im told it might be fixed in 2 business days or it could be 10 DAYS ????????? WHAT THE ????I DO NOT RECOMMEND Their NON SERVICE !!!! I AM LIVID !!!

      I purchased the jitterbug for my 87 year old mother with the understanding that the phone/service would be easy for senior adults. This phone was very confusing not only to her but to me also. We purchased a plan for unlimited text/calls with 1G data. Company failed to tell us the phone wouldnt automatically use her home network, that we had to physically go in settings and disconnect cellular service. This caused her monthly bill to go from $20+ to $300+. Best they would offer was to cut 50% off her bill. Needless to say we disconnected this service and will go with someone else. DONT USE THIS COMPANY! They really dont care about seniors on fixed income!
