This business should honor pricing. When I signed up sport was the highest level. Since they gave us great deals to prepays lot of people I know signed up. After they realized they arent making more profit, they went to making up new tiers. Super short which is just sport with a higher price tag but nothing extra provided. All there new clubs are super sport also so they are trying to force me to pay 3x my current rate.

I joined 24 hours fitness about 20 years, they had a deal that you pay a big fee for the first three years and then $49/year after. The reason I joined them is because its so convenient that they are chain stores, and Ive told that theyre still expanding. However, after few years that they open new gyms so called super and we are not allowed to go! If we want to go we need to pay a monthly fee or buy a different membership, this is not what I signed up for. During the Covid we can not even use the facility, but we still paying our annual fees to support businesses. I have few friends are the same situation and wish they can Honor Our memberships to all of their facilities!

24Hour Fitness charged my credit card for a membership I had cancelled. First the 24Hour Fitness online application did not allow me to cancel my membership. Then I tried to cancel in person but the 24Hour Fitness representative I talked to was not able to process my cancellation. He promised me to talk to the manager and take care of the situation but I did not hear back and apparently my membership was not canceled. I then called 24Hour Fitness to cancel again but again the company was not capable of cancelling my membership due to their faulty software. However, the representative I talked to explained to me that she made a note in the system so that their Headquarter would cancel my membership. However, apparently this did not happen and despite all of those efforts 24Hour Fitness charged my credit card. The fitness club itself is not great either. Overall, I CANNOT recommend 24Hour Fitness.

******* is the worst maintained facility. They don't understand the basics of maintenance. It takes months to replace a shower head, months to fix a broken faucet, months to replace a shower door broken handle. They eliminate the service instead of fixing the equipment. They lie to the members and blame delivery, lack of maintenance people, etc. for it.Fremont club is the armpit of all super finesses. They turn the parking lot lights out to save money, creating a dangerous situation, blaming it the land owner who supposedly controls the parking lights. The *******'s air bubbling has been out for three months now. I am sure they will not fix it.The steam room thermostat has been out for 6 months. They let the steam leak constantly instead of being controlled by thermostat so if a lot of people go in and out its cold, if not very many people go in and out, it super heats. The list goes on and on.No wonder they have such a low rating. Its because the upper management don't care.No solution.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM 24hoursfitness ****************************** Location I used 2 account 1 for me and fr my son. My son moved August 2023 to ****** for college and I personally freeze his account then I had to go out f state for a year and I personally freeze my account in November.I noticed they keep charging me and I have called them in Feb 24. They apologized and freeze the accounts and they said they manager will cal me for refund. Of course nobody called me. I called them again in March, in April and May. Finally I spoke with someone she said she is the manager and apologized again and told me she placed the refunds. I couldn't go there myself because I was out of state! So, I haven't receive any refund then 3 weeks ago I was in ******* I called them again and they said they can not do anything!! I stopped there today myself and would like to talk with manager. There was a guy he said to me "I'm the boss" and he refused refund and refused to help me! I showed him who freeze my accounts, I showed them call history every month but he said doesn't proof anything! I asked him too give me written explanation why he can't refund it but he didn't! This is ridiculous! These guys are scamming!! Be careful! When you are freeze the account ask an email or written notice!

My son and I have been a member since 2007 and was guaranteed $49/year for my lifetime. Recently, I went online to pay my invoice and saw that the fee increased to $94 for each. I hadn't received any prior notice of this increase, neither through mail nor email. I had also stopped receiving paper invoices in the mail for the last couple of years. No reminders were sent either. So, I think that something fishy is going on.I did some research and found out that 24 hour fitness has already been in a class action lawsuit regarding this matter. At that time I was unaware of any lawsuits or litigation regarding changing fees, as my rate was untouched. Also I did not get any notices regarding this case nether by mail nor by email. I already contacted the lawyers for the first class action lawsuit to find out if there is lawsuits or litigation going regarding this matter on which I will definitely be joining.

I paid an up front fee for 4 memberships. For me my wife and two children. They were life time contracts that started in 2006 and 2007. The annual renewal was $49.00 which I have honored and paid every year. Now all of a sudden in 2024 they almost doubled two of my life time contacts to $94.00. 24 hour fitness has already been in a class action lawsuit for this same thing and settled. I did not take part in that first class action lawsuit because I was not affected. What type of company settles a class action lawsuit then turns around and engages in the same practice. Of course you will get zero help from any local 24 hour fitness gym, and no response to emails. I continue to search the internet for a new class action lawsuit against this company or information on the lawyers for the first class action lawsuit as I will definitely be joining this one. If you are not affected at this time and was informed that you have a lifetime rate I would just get in on any class action lawsuit against 24 hour fitness that deals with increasing rates!
