      We were told by Viasat's salesperson we had a 30 day trial where we could cancel if not satisfied. Internet download speed was an average of **** mbs (the tech didnt want to bury the cable farther from the house in a better location but rather pointed the satellite towards our house and trees). When we went to cancel the trial we were offered 3 months of promotions to lower the cost which we later decided was still unacceptable and decided to cancel. It was at this point we placed the cancellation call and were floored to find out that they dont have any trials and we were bound to the contract and to cancel was going to cost $360.I had the call escalated to 2 different supervisors and the best they could do was give a $50 discount for misleading information regarding the sales ***** I even mentioned that the calls are recorded and they could verify what we were told. Totally unacceptable and we decided to pay the disconnect fee rather then give Viasat any more money for the two year contract. Also told the main supervisor I would be writing a complaint to the BBB and as soon as I got off the phone I came here.

      I would give a zero if possible. Their service is terrible and unreliable. **************** is of no help. They assured me I would receive high speed internet where I live. Half the time there is no internet connection. Go with any other company but viasat. I filed a complaint and they never even responded. I am having to have my bank block them from being able to debit my account.

      Viasat is a horrible company! If I could give a zero I would. They have robbed my grandparents of $900+! They keep billing them for services that they are not using. We started with Viasat in February 2023. In March, we called Viasat because the phone and internet was not working. They sent someone out. The technician did not fix the issues. He was incompetent. He didn't even know what a dial tone was. We called multiple times to have a technician come back out. They never showed each time they were scheduled to come out. No one called despite give them three different cellphone numbers. Viasat kept saying they would send someone out and they never showed this went on for two months. My grandparents live in a rural area and they need phone service. We called another company out and they had everything working the next day. They cut the cord to Viasat. So my grandparents have not been using any of their services. I have called and told Viasat many times that they need to either reimburse my grandparents or use the money they have taken from them to cancel they contract. They won't! They want her to pay to cancel. Which is straight up robbery!! They have taken so much money already for services they are not using. You can't file a lawsuit because you're locked into an Arbitration contract. I do not know what to do! I have been the one trying to handle this for my grandparents from the start.

      I've had Viasat Internet for almost 4 years. It's extremely expensive and the service is subpar. Of course since it's satellite it's not going to be the best, but we live in a rural area and satellite internet is all we can get. I pay my $260 bill every month and I also have the easy care plan which provides insurance for service technicians, etc. if and when needed. I haven't had any real issues with it until the last few months. I keep losing signal and the signal I do have is spotty at best. In June they told me a service technician would need to come out to my house because it's an equipment issue and not something they can fix on their end. They use an outsourced company for their service technicians. This company requires someone over the age of 18 and their service hours are the same as my work schedule so I have to miss work to be here. Since June they have been scheduled 5 times and have not shown up. They call through the entire day to say they are running slightly behind, but a technician will still be coming and then never show up. I've missed 5 days of work waiting for this technician to show up. I'm now at risk of losing my job. Viasat will not do anything to correct this issue. They just say all they can do is reschedule it. I've asked if they can use a different company or if there is anything else we can do and they just say "well, we can reschedule it for next Tues. Does that work for you?" This is ridiculous and they have no problem taking my monthly payment even though they aren't holding up their end of the contract.

      I would never advise anyone to get service with this internet provider they are higher and worse than ******** This company viasat is cheating people out there money and charging you $357.00 just for internet service and I told them to come and get there equipment they don't come because they want to charge you ****** for the equipment I I have voice with internet I told them to take off and they still was charging me for it and I didn't have it any more. This viasat is a rip off and some one need to investigate them.

      They actively work against letting me pay them money. They refuse to allow emails to/from them, and any escalations outside their T1 sales person are met with "this will take 3-5 business days for your escalation to contact you". And they never call back. All 3 times I've "escalated" something.

      Viasat doesnt deserve a star. The service hardly works. They data cap. I had a new roof put on so my satellite had to come off. Ive had 3 appointments to put the satellite back up 2 of them no call no show. Now I got to wait till Aug 14

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I AM NOT A CUSTOMER. MY BOYFRIEND IS. WE DO NOT LIVE TOGETHER OR SHARE BILLS. THE CONTINUE TO SEND ME HIS PERSONAL ACCOUNT UPDATES TO MY PHONE INSTEAD OF HIS. WE USED MY PHONE NUMBER ONCE TO GET INFO BEFORE HIS SERVICE WAS INSTALLED. THEY HAVE BEEN ASKED REPEATEDLY TO SEND THAT STUFF TO HIS NUMBER NOT MINE. BUT THEY DONT. THEREFORE IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY FOR YOU. THEY WILL SEND YOUR INFO TO ANY NUMBER YOU EVER USED EVEN IF ITS BEEN RE ASSIGNED TO SOMEBODY ELSE. ??

      The internet didn't work worth a flip. We tried to run 3 cameras off of it and it didn't have strong enough service to handle it. We didn't have anything else using it's bandwidth. It was extremely poor service and very expensive (raised to $200/month plus taxes/fees.... $225). Then trying to cancel the service, they have no contact number on their statement or website to contact them. I had to go back and look at the numbers I received when I first received the service. 100% would never use this again or recommend it to anyone.

      This is the worst internet ever. We found that out about 9 months ago when we signed up but we dont have any other options for internet because we live in the middle of nowhere. We only use internet for a small camera to keep an eye on the outside of the house. We pay ****** a month and usually would get taken out on the 11th of each month. This month my payment date changed( which I never change it because it worked for me and my boyfriend which is the only other person who has access to the account would not change it without telling me because I pay this bill) to the 3rd without contacting me in anyway. They took out 350 dollars because of the cycle change. I called them to figure out why they changed it without letting me know and they said that someone went on the internet and changed it and they would change it back to the 11th for me. Something told me I should call again and get out of auto pay and I did when on that call I also found out that they never changed the date of my payments and next month I wouldve paid the same amount. I have never been more angry in my life. The fact that they rip you off with bad internet and make you pay insane amounts for s***** internet is BS. I am now in the negatives in my bank and they said I have to wait 2-3 weeks for investigation which wont help me at all. DO NOT GET VIASAT THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. And if you do end up getting it dont enroll in autopay. **************** *****, internet *****, app *****. Do not recommend.
