      I had internet service provider installed and I told Viastat I wanted there service to watch movies due to being disabled,because I have to lay down a lot due to back pain from a auto accident were I lost over four inches in height. During installing their dish they drilled a hole into my living room wall and there are wires in that wall for outlets! That was a bad thing. So when I started to try and watch movies on *************** the movies would stop every couple of minutes and take a few minutes to start up! Movies I use as a diversion for my pain. I called them and they told me I have to pay hundreds of dollars because braking their lease. I didnt get the service I asked for and the service was very expensive. Thanks for your ear ***************************

      This has been the most expensive service, in the area it's like they knew they could prey on people in the rural area. I called to disconnect the service and was told I would have to climb on the roof to remove the Tria from the dish. Who does this? It shows that the customer is not a priority to this business. This is not disclosed when signing the contract or during purchasing the product which is not being fully transparent about the services provided.I would not want my elderly friends and family to be worried about putting out more money to have this removed after keeping up with their bill to be paid, only to be charged ***** to have it removed by the company or be charged again. Never thought to ask about the disconnect, and how it worked due to the fact that this is the only company that is cheap enough to want a part back at the risk of their customer.

      Negative stars, this company is a scam. Service was awful when we cancelled and mailed back equipment they lost it and charged us for it, after proof or tracking information they billed once and then said they took care of it until months later that **** got sent to collections. After called back with the proof of tracking and the equipment all they have to say is oh we will remove it after we find the lost equipment that was delivered to their company. They are a scam and anyone who is a customer or wanting to be should run far away from them. Any company is better than Viasat.

      They are the worse. I have not had internet for a week and 2 days. We also have to pay either **** a month of ***** a service fee. I am already paying 140 a month for service I dont even have half the time. I would stay far away from this company as possible. **************** is bad also. I tell them everything I did already because I troubleshoot as well and they said lets do it again. Nothing changes still blinking red light. I think this internet worked for one full month that o had it.

      I am four months shy from canceling this awful internet service. It costs a fortune for buffering. It is dreadfully aggravating to be out of high-speed internet after a few days. It is a rip-off. You would be better off without internet services than throwing your money away on this c*** Viasat does not warrant one star.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The internet is horribly slow already and then they slow it more once you go over a certain *** (even thought they claim it's unlimited usage.) Horrible customer service, only overseas. I have spent hours on the phone with them. They are also VERY expensive for what you get. When I moved and turned off my service, they asked me to return all of the equipment which included something they installed themselves on the 3rd story of my home. It was too dangerous for me to go and get it off myself, and so they charged me $150 for not returning it. I also was charged an additional month of service because I was one day late in calling before the next month. This company is A RIP OFF, BEWARE

      Worst internet! I cannot wait for high speed internet service to be finished in our area. Im already on the waiting list and as soon as it is available we will leave this garbage satellite. Almost $200 a month for less than subpar service! I thought our last service was bad but I may have been wrong! I understand others plight though bc when you have no options you just have to do what you have to do. Thankfully we are a month or so away from being able to get rid of this. My advice to others is if you have any other options go with it bc this is the worst option of the worst options and Ive had one that I thought was worse but it wasnt this terribleterrible but not the worst.

      Worst internet ever! Called to cancel in November it is now February and they still have not canceled my service and continue to charge me. I have called once a month since November to get them to cancel my service. Do not use this company, you are better off not having any internet than dealing with this company!!!

      I called about getting internet service in my area. I was told Viasat was really my only option. I was told by Viasat that their 20 GB plan should work well for my household and that direct tv would be a good option. The connected me to direct tv afterwards. They did not advise me that I would need direct tv Satellite instead of streaming, because it would zap our data very quickly. Our data for the month lasted maybe 4-5 days. We called direct tv and they put in a satellite. Our data still ran out maybe halfway through the month. There is no unlimited data with Viasat. If you need more than your plan you have to buy more and it is costly. We were buying more every couple of days. Finally, we got three phones with **** with 50 GB each :) We tried to cancel with Viasat. My husband and I both communicated with them several times. They said that they needed the equipment back and that they would send a box for us to do send it in. We had this conversation 3 or 4 times. We never got a box. I asked is there a physical location that we can take it to. I was told no. They turned us in to a collection agency for over $300! DO NOT do business with Viasat!

      I have been lied to and cheated. I have called at least once a month because although I'm paying for monthly service I only get about a week and then they say I've used all data. I began paying about $99 plus then it went up to $126 and now I've been charged almost $300 with the same amount of service. NOT worth using.
