      We started out reaching data cap in week one and supposedly had the best for gaming and tv. We never were able to stream tv at all. We got satellite tv from another company so we wouldnt use up our internet as quickly. After 2 year contract was up I called at the beginning of August to cancel. I was told I would receive a return box in the mail- didnt happen. I called at the end of August and was told that our service was paid through August 28 and then they would send the return box then. I called Sept 8 and they said not to worry about still not receiving the box because we have 2 months for the return. They said they would send the box that day. On September 20, I received an email saying immediate action required, we have ************************************************************** a charge of $300 will be placed for unreturned equipment. I called on the 21st and he repeated 60 days and would send another box. I told him I have it packaged in the original box it came in and to email me the return info so I can mail it today. He said he cant. Asked for manager-nope, asked for customer service- nope. Has to be in the return box only and no one can email the info. He also would not send me an email saying 60 days instead of 30 that he kept saying. I asked for a local office to take it to- nope. I then said it was obvious they just wanted our $. I went to the bank and was told it would be better to close and reopen my account because Viasat only needed to change amount by a ***** for a stop payment not to work. So of course I did that. I refuse to give them $300 for a mistake that isnt mine. Sorry customer service and product does not live up to the volume they claim capable. Never dealt with a company so unwilling to work with a customer. Maybe because I canceled? Bad for word of mouth and I will never be a return customer in the future. Absolutely ridiculous!

      This company is the worst company I've ever had to deal with they take your money when they're not approved to and then they refuse to give it back they don't send you boxes when you cancel your account They are the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with.... All you get is the run around every time you call all you get is another extended another extended another extended it's a bunch of b******* have filing charges on them anybody else want to ...I am...

      this company is absolutely trash. the internet rarely ever works, and when it does, its so slow its barely usable. living in rural areas limits your options, and this company preys on that. theyll give you a modem that will suddenly stop working four months after you get it, and if you dont pay the extra $12 a month that they charge, its $95 for them to fix anything. they know exactly what theyre doing. especially locking you into a 24 month contract. its 2022, people NEED internet for work, and school, and life in general, and the best we can get in rural areas is this absolute trash, predatory, unethical company. do NOT sign anything with this awful, awful company. paying the exorbitant early termination fee just to be out from under this horrible company. *** spent months just throwing money at this people and gotten nothing in return but unusable speeds, if i got any speeds at all. just horrible all around. 0/10.

      this company is a rip off they remove money from my account without my permission I canceled my Service back in April I sent their Equipment back and they said they didn't get all of it have no need for there junk it was to slow any way $160.00

      Dishonest company. Called the company before I moved to a new state to ask what I needed to do to discontinue service. Employee told me I just needed the box & remote & they would send a return box to me in the mail. After I arrive in the new state, they tell me that I needed the tranceiver also. They never sent me a bill, just sent it straight to collections. Service was always horrible, overpriced & claimed it ran out right after paying the bill. Supervisors are rude & dishonest.

      Had this c*** service for many years. Paid a lot of money monthly for services that barely worked. This morning my modem stopped working. Called to get it replaced and I was told it would 1 month before a service tech can come out and I will have to pay for it. Even though it's supposed to be included in our services. This company is nothing but scam artists and string you along for nothing. Refusing to help their customers in a timely manner. Treat customers poorly, charge outrageous amounts for internet worse then dial up. Do not get this internet services. No matter the "promises they make" "the deals they offer" it will bite you in the a**. Big scam

      Avoid this crooked, lying, fly by night company at all cost!! They cannot explain how an unplugged modem not being used for days and weeks at a time uses large amounts of data. They make excuses and accuse you of lying. They will admit watching HD TV for an entire day only used 7gig of data, but cannot explain how a console ok sleep or rest mode at night consumed 30+ gig of data in less than 6 hours. When you do buy extra data or unexplainably is used faster. When you question it they claim you had. A major download or upgrade despite your device history not supporting their claims. When you expose their lies and use actual data history to prove them wrong they then become very spiteful and arrogant. We spend close to &200/mo. for their terrible WiFi and have to run everything on low resolution and leave phones on airplane mode and unplug devices after each use to try and make the data last 30 days. This is a home with one single person and 2 devices *** being connected at any given time 99% or the time .They have perfected your hair con game and get away with theft every month.

      So im wishing to discontinue service from a CSR named **** here in *******. He ask me who my new provider would be and i told him who i think contracted the work out. He then goes into all these rates and different options.I again say i want to discontinue service then HIS whole demeanor changes which i pickup on immediately because im in the service industry and have trained CSR's and Technicians to deal with customers.Went from options to that Sir you will be responsible for getting our equipment back to us within a (60) sixty days after cancellation or be charged for missing equipment. Sir you will have to remove the satellite dish from your roof for an additional $95 but later said they would waive charges.Also my disconnection cannot be cancelled because all cancellations have to be made by midnight before the 12th of every month. So that means i get charged another $170 because i didnt cancel before midnight on 9/11 where a friend had died in the tower. So yeah why wouldnt you waive the fee of retrieving equipment since im paying you another $170 for another month im not using.I told this young man to calm down and de-escalate and to stop raising his voice and to not call me by my first name.Im not saying that Viasat is a bad company but having a gentleman poorly in need of proper etiquette and manners would surely improve the brand. If anyone signs up with this company , please be sure to read termination and fees.

      Unfortunately we have Viasat we don't have a choice where we live. I am paying now Over ******a month for 150gb of data. I called and had it upped to that package on September 4th 2022 at which time I had used 84gb of my previous plan we use Roku so had to up it. The person I talked to on September 4th said that I would be fine for high speed internet seeings my plan renews on September ,16th and would not run out before my plan renewed well guess what on September 9th I get an email saying I'm out of high speed internet now mind you I just upped it on the 4th that is 5daysnand I'm out already so I call them and they are a joke to try and tell anything to and half the time you can't understand them. I'm beyond peeved. Why isn't something being done about them ripping people off.

      100% a scam that doesn't even work as advertised. I pay over $200/month for 100 Mbps and usually have between 8 and 35 Mbps. I tried to cancel my service early on. They told me I was required to have a service technician come out and work on it before they would be willing to waive the early termination fee and that they would give me a $30/month discount for 6 months for my troubles. Good enough to see if they can fix it like they say they can, right? WRONG!They don't tell you upfront, but you're locked in for 24 months when you sign up. Then, when you cancel, you have to pay $15/month for every month early. The rep I'm on the phone with now is telling me that if I had canceled the first time I called in (only a month into my service), they would have allowed me to cancel without penalty and that they didn't have a choice but to charge me $15/month for the 20 remaining months on my contract...you know, the one I didn't even know they had signed me up for. Every month is a different price even though I never used it and I was told that there were no data limits on my account.Someone needs to bring a class action lawsuit against them for their business practices.
