      In May, 2024, my modum/router blew out in a storm. I immediately called Viasat the following day. After 2 weeks of many phone calls, talking to Supervisors and waiting, waiting, waiting I cancelled and went with another service provider for my internet. It was one excuse after another. After no follow through on my work order, wrong phone numbers provided and supervisors putting me on an emergency plan promising to have the problem restored within 24 hours, I STILL HAD NO RESULTS!!! It was so ironic that after I had another service provider up and running after two weeks of fighting with Viasat, I received a phone call that a service tech was coming to my house to fix the problem!!! A little late, don't you think!!!

      Viasat service is one of the few internet options where I live. I pay $185/month for unreliable service. Between the hours of 6pm-9:30pm weeknights, it moves at a glacial pace or is non-existent, apparently because there are too many people using it. If it's storming, raining, cloudy, windy, or anything other than a clear sky, its slow or non-existent. My 2 year contract (that I was not informed that I was a party to until AFTER it was installed) ended 2 months ago, and my bill immediately increased. With a notice that it is increasing another $15 next month. I am now moving and called to have service turned off and was told that it "Can not be shut off until the billing cycle ends" and they are not able to pro-rate billing. Which leaves me to pay another $185 for 8 days of service, and no recourse. I was informed that this is all a part of my user agreement - that I have not received, and that will take 3-5 business days to be emailed to me. I wouldn't sign up with Viasat again if it was the only option.

      I can't even give this company a star rating. At $200 a month for an internet, we had a needle put on and had to have a technician come out and reinstall the satellite. Our internet was pretty bad before, but afterwards we couldn't even get reception. We contacted the company and they said it would be $200 to adjust the satellite. We call back about a month later to have our internet disconnected. They said it was $375 to buy out the rest of our contract but they could just send a technician to fix the issue. When we ask what they would charge us if so they said $250. Just seems easier to cancel the internet and find a new provider. Company seems to be running a scam.

      Refused to cancel when requested.Charged for equipment that was returned.Sent to collections because I didn't pay the charges for equipment I returned within 10 days. They take advantage of disabled adults such as myself. This company should not be allowed to do business in the *************.

      Unfortunately, Viasat is the only service provider where I live. Have been dealing with them for 4 years now. Am paying for premium service and it is still absolutely horrible! The service is in and out, consistently; the fees are through the roof; and the customer service is terrible. The reps, including the supervisors AND managers never listen to a word being said, overtake you in conversation,are masters at formulating excuses and lies, and rely wholly on their scripts. They have only come to fix the service once and I had to BEG them for it. Have been on the phone with them up to 40 times in a month. Just take time and look at their reviews. The crappy ones AREN'T AI generated or paid for. CONSUMER BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

      Absolutely the worst internet company I've ever dealt with. I was paying $213.00 a month for 150 GB of data. Even with DirecTV for most of my tv services (which worked great), I could not make it a month on such little data, and for more than $200. I had to do a 2 year contract and I complained about not having enough data to make it a month. My wife and I (only ones in the household) didn't even connect our cell phones to wifi because of the data limitations. I complained and I complained. They did nothing except tell me I could pay more if I wanted more data. Absurd. I stopped complaining and just did my 2 years. When I finally got my hands on Starlink ($120 for unlimited data), I called to cancel. Viasat didn't want me to leave. They said that since February (it was end of May when I cancelled), they started offering 850 GB and they would give it to me for less than half what I was paying for 150GB. What they don't understand is I complained and they did nothing. And when they got this new plan, did they call me and offer it to me? Nope. Why not? Because I was dumb enough to not know about their plan and they were willing to let me keep paying $213 for 150GB. Worse yet, I cancelled only a few days into a new billing cycle, but the fine print in my contract says they charge me for the whole month whether I used any of it or not. I protested. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I called them and they matter of factly said I owed it and there wasn't a darn thing I could do about it. I told them I could do something about it. I would write reviews everywhere I can to either help convert someone away from Viasat or help prevent them from signing up in the first place. Clearly they needed the $213 more than me because they just were not going to refund me for services unused. "It's in the contract, blah, blah, blah". So here I am warning anyone that is considering Viasat that there are much cheaper and more quality options.

      Wish I could give a negative stars this company will not fix my wifi it's been out since June 21 and I have called over a dozen times and still not fixed . I shout my credit card off and they still stole payment of ****** dollars and will not give it back DONT USE THIS COMPANY they are not a very good company

      Worst WIGI service ever.These clowns charge up to 70 dollars a month for up to 100 mbps of speed and 99% of the time the wifi dosnt even work. The employees over the phone gaslight you into thinking something is wrong with your hardware or software. The only reason why I use this horrible service is because it's the only avalible service where I live. I've had service with other wifi providers for faster speeds and a cheaper monthly price with very minimal outages so it's definitely not an issue on my end it's the terrible service they provide. Every time I do something involving the internet my service either lags, freezes or just outright quits. This company is predetory to consumers and should be investigated for scamming customers.

      Only the stockholders love this company! Americans who rely on it SUFFER, ******, ******! This isp is so horrible with such miserable customer service reps, it's amazing they can stay afloat. The unfortunate thing is that people are not checking the customer reviews before ordering or they would already be with starlink. Time to get smart people and get rid of Dank for Musk!
