      It's the worst company ever. Never choose this company. Viasat bought out Excede and we have had the worst customer service ever since. They switched satellites and did not consider that rural people who live in the mountains (who have no other options than satellite internet) with snow could not move their equipment in the winter. They cut off the internet. Then they did not refund us either. It took hours of customer service calls and no one would help us. We have been a customer for 12 years. They kept saying they would refund us, and to call back in 7-14 business days. I did three rounds of that. Never saw the money. Their policy is to lie to their customers. Class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

      Viasat is a terrible service and they billed me after I moved and stopped auto pay and when I told them they can see that we haven't used any services or data they said that didn't matter and that they was still billing it and they wasn't disconnecting it till next month on the 15th. I told them I had already moved and even disconnected the power weeks ago and they said it didn't matter.. that is terrible service and they shouldn't be able to do that.

      I paid ****** only to have my internet to buffer and had less than a month. I get a bill for a ****** and the customer service telling me if I cancel I have to pay ******. I did not sign up for any contract. I regret anything from these people. Crooks.

      Avoid ViaSat at all costs! They have terrible cancellation policies and customer service that is beyond rude.They said they would disconnect service the day before the next billing cycle. Not a problem. I also need to return the equipment. Fine. And they need the transceiver off the dish which is on the roof. We cant get the box to return the equipment mailed to us until after the disconnection takes place.If we need a technician to come take the receiver off the roof, they cant schedule that until after the disconnect - for $95.*Disconnection is after we sell the house. There will be no one here to receive the box or to mail equipment back. *A technician showing up after disconnection will be trespassing because we wont be the owners anymore and he wont have permission to be on the property. If I dont return the equipment, its $300.When I explained that this gives me no options to be compliant with their requirements, I was told to get someone to help me.When I asked for a supervisor and explained again that I needed a solution to this situation, I was told youve been given your solutions. They finally took a temporary address for the box to be shipped to for the equipment in the house. But the piece on the roof is going to cost me $150 because of poor policy and unacceptable customer service. Once I received the box at my temporary address, I did return the items I had. I also called to schedule a tech to go remove the piece from the transceiver (after getting permission from the new owner). But they cant tell me when the tech will go out or if Ill get a confirmation that the piece was removed. The number I was given by the ViaSat rep for the third party technician so that I could verify when the service call would be completed is no longer in service. Who knows - they may charge me $95 and never send anyone! I would not only NOT recommend ViaSat to anyone, I will actively encourage everyone to get service from another company.

      I ordered Visat February 9th for my father. He is 81 I ordered with NO contract they agreed.Also We agreed on a price of $65. a month. He couldn't afford $85. a month. They said there would be NO hook up fee. So they came out (February 11th) a week early to install the satellite then charged him $75. Installation fee. ( Which was supposed to be free) So my father paid them in cash. I did not know this till later. So a couple days later on February 14th. My dad said he does not want this Viasat. He didn't touch it, not even to hook up his ****** So I called them and told them cance, I would like to return ASAP he only had it a few day and never used it. Please send me the boxes and return label and we will get that back to you as soon as we receive the shipping label. Viasat told me they will not send a return label out for a month. (Don't make any sense to me) Then wanted to charge him $429. + $85. for the month has to wait on the boxes. We have never paid nothing. I don't believe we owe them anything They got 75 dollars out of my father.

      I was told that my *** would be accepted 3 months after the promotional rate expired in January. When I called to add my *** code, Viasat told me they were not accepting new customers at this time. NEW?? I agreed to a 2yr contract when I was promised my *** would be accepted; who had my e-mail wrong the entire time so I couldnt log in or update anything in the MyViasat App they keep boasting about. Never got my acct#, never got anything until I called them today 6 times as an ********* member I pay an extra $10 a mo for. *** is ending, i see that, the point is I was tied into an expensive contract I cannot afford based on the guarantee that the *** funding would cover that extra Now the *** is ending fees for early cancellations, and Im duped because I NEVER GOT That Welcome *******

      We signed up for service w/Viasat in 2019. We're in rural area and it was the only option we could find at the time that would reach our house. Service was ok for 4 years, not stellar, but again, we're in a rural area, there are snowstorms, we didn't need it to conduct business on a daily basis, we were ok with it.On June 1, 2023 the service abruptly stopped. I waited till the next day to report it, hoping it would reconcile itself. I was told there was something wrong with the equipment - they would send somebody out. Nobody ever came. I was then told, a few days later, they no longer had service techs in this area. I waited for them to find someone. They finally admitted they were never going to get someone out to fix their equipment and asked - What're you gonna do?By June 18th I gave up waiting for them to figure out how to service their longtime client and cancelled our contract with them. This was a moot point, in my opinion, since they had already, basically, cancelled their service with us.I was told we wouldn't have to pay for any day we didn't receive service and would be refunded for the period of time we'd already paid them for when the service stopped (from June 1-June 15). It took several months for that refund to appear on our credit card. In the meantime they CONTINUED TO BILL US FOR 3 MONTHS. Even after we'd cancelled our contract and returned their faulty equipment. Luckily, I was able to get our credit card company to reverse all of those charges. But, the credit card *** could not understand what the refund was for and stupidly returned that to Viasat without consulting us.Over the past 10 months we have been contacted by TWO collection agencies trying to collect more money for Viasat. The first one gave up after I sent my explanation. I'm still fighting with the 2nd one.Viasat's unannounced and unexplained termination of our service was bad enough. This harassment of prior good clientele & attempt at extortion is criminal.

      Very dishonest practices. Was quoted a price for internt and another for phone service. It was compatible to what I had so I signed up for the services. Then I find out a couple days later,after I canceled the old service, that the prices are, in fact, much higher. Viasat blamed it on a third-party but when the company is called it immediately identifies itself as "Viasat". So, to me, this says I'm doing business with "Viasat". Very deceptive, and dishonest practices and now I'm stuck until, or even if, I can find another service. Disgusting!
