Companys billing practices are ****** aggressive. Received bill in mail on 2/13/23 (statement date 2/2/23), received collections call on 2/14/23.Company shouldnt be calling unless the bill is more than 30 days LATE.Breg

My sun received a neoprene and plastic knee brace. Online its comparable to other braces that are around $40. ***** billed me $800! I contacted billing and was told insurance was covering it. I voiced my concern over the price. Insurance covered $400 and I was billed for the remainder. Ive spoken to the doctors office where he received the brace and they could not believe the price I was billed. Im working with the doctors office to file a dispute. If Bregg does not amend this over priced charge Im going to speak to an attorney who I work with and escalate this matter. I refuse to be overcharged. I prefer to pay an attorney based based on this fraud. My son ended up having a tumor and this brace did more harm than good. Bregg may pay attention if a class action is filed.Breg

It's unfortunante there is so much frustration to have a claim filed electronically by Breg to an insurance company. My insurance company verified "Breg" is on their approved list of vendors. They are thieves. They lie to insurance companies and personal clients. Just to-get money. They gave me a box with a cheap brace, they charged more than $90.00 dollars, my insurance already paid them more than ***** dollars and BREG is charging me another ***** dollars for a brace that you can find at the store for $20.00 dollars. I was never disclosed by the doctor or BREG of the price. I talked one supposed manager, thats had no manners, no respect and did not care for anything. *****************, MHA, OPA, Practice Administrator II, ******************** PSCs. He was worse than the first. The quality of the product is awful, the way they give the product based on lies is some of the worst. They should not be allowed to be a legit business.Breg

That is inaccurate information. There was not outline at all. What paper work you talk was misleading and lies, that is what companies like yours do to take money from insurance that pay on behalf of clients and also from clients. Do a better research , I paid my deductible directly at my doctors office, your paper does not state any amount or extra charges, nor Your price for your item. Breg charged me hundreds of dollars for a brace that I would have bought elsewhere had I known the price. Still, I paid my bill months ago and yet they continue to harass me saying I have a balance. Now that I see other customers' reviews, scamming seems to be their entire business model. Sorry to anyone who has also become involved with this predatory company.Breg

Horrible horrible company. Go to urgent care which the entire visit is covered by the VA for me. Get a boot with no information informing me that I will be billed separately for a boot. ***** incorrectly bills my insurance for the boot and then sends me a $400 bill. *** called them 3 different times and gave them the correct information with my VA representative telling them they billed incorrectly and them ensuring it was corrected and yet still have received a bill. Im super stressed about this going to collections when its **************************************************************************************************** cannot bill a veteran, yet they are. Ive spent hours on the phone with Breg and the VA and have literally cried with frustration as I have mental health disabilities and handling something like this is so overwhelming! Breg doesnt care theyre out to make month off of poor people unknowingly that they will be billed from some boot or brace they are given by their provider. Shame on you and your company. And also shame on you for billing $400 for something that costs less and $150 online. Uncharging poor people who are injured. This company should not be able to get away with incorrectly billing people and I will be talking to a lawyer if they continue to illegally charge me and bill a veteran who legally they cannot.Breg

NEGATIVE STARS! POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE and even WORSE SERVICE.*********************** (CEO)...I hope you read this.AWFUL customer service via phone and online contact requesting a refund for an overpaid charge. Absolutely NO response from the online contact (gave account number too); had to hound the phone reps for 3 months (mid Aug thru Nov, 2022) regarding my refund request. At each and every phone call (12 calls in all) Breg CR unable to provide a refund timeline or status at each call. Always told that the "back office" has the refund claim and no means of contact with the back office other than a Breg CR emailing them. Even got conflicting stories from CRs...one even said the refund was in the works BEFORE I even made the request! Got supervisor involved and finally after 1 month, got my refund check. AVOID this company at all costs.All this start when my son went to an *********** facility in ******* ** area for a minor (hairline) wrist fracture in May 2022. A $5 elastic wrap should have done the trick, not a $40 wrist brace which retails for less than $15 at local pharmacies.Breg....NO, I do not need to contact you. The ball is in your court based on the email contact I had sent you on your website on 11/22/22 for which I am still waiting for a response! This is the first and only review I've ever written for any business or person.Breg

Breg are criminals plain and simple. They charged $300 through the hospital for a brace I could have gotten from amazon for $20. Then after I paid my bill in full they continued to harass me for another year sending me letters, emails, and texts, that all said that I still had a balance. Criminal grifters, they should be shut down.Breg

Breg repeatedly sends bills even after payments have been made. I mistakenly paid for the same brace twice. Then they still sent me bills. I tried to resolve it and have spent hours on the phone with them. I finally sent copies of the bank payments with every possible detail they could want. Now they sent the account to collections! They owe me money not the other way around. I think they are scamming people to make these small payments and not notice they are paying for the same thing over and over.Breg
