      I didn't purchase Arlo equipment, I unfortunately inherited 60 of these cameras (with enterprise licensing) with my new position at a construction firm. If you have the choice between buying into the Arlo system or pulling all your toenails out with a pair of plyers, I implore you dear reader, pull the toenails. You will suffer less pain in the end. From cameras that won't register or constantly lose registration, to camera's that don't work on mesh wifi, to app updates that don't support my model of camera (Arlo Go's), and the worst tech support experience I can remember in my 30 years in IT. Arlo has consistently displayed a depth of incompetence and utter lack or regard to its customer base that is hard to believe. How this company remains a viable business concern is beyond me. So dear reader, if you're a m******** and also need a camera system that might work some of the time, then Arlo might be just right for you. If your anybody else, run like a bat out of h*** from this company.

      I purchased the Arlo Pro 4 + SmartHub security camera package from ****** on September 2022. Quite possibly the biggest mistake I've ever made in my entire life! Getting the cameras to sync out of the box was a horrendous. It took me nearly three hours to get the ** code from the Arlo App to scan the lens!The overall features of this camera are completely worthless if you don't give Arlo your money for their cloud subscription service. The cameras themselves are terrible at picking up motion detection. An example of it is camera 1 on my front door works at best 40% of the time. The times that I need it most; when someone blocks my driveway or a when someone doesn't pick up they're dogs mess - it never works!!BUYER BEWARE!!! In regards to the subscription, if you choose not to subscribe to Arlo's greedy subscription plan you can use *** drive; but here is where this totally falls apart. You want to manually record with the press of a finger - Gone! You want to have a basic preview picture include to your recorded library for easy access - Gone! Want to use cell data when you're not at home, the most basic feature of any camera system btw - Gone! Want to have the option to delete videos from the app the *** via SmartHub - Gone! And the kicker, when you're at home on your home network and want to view your revised library - Good Luck!! It constantly gives you the message "TRY AGAIN".Bottom line is, if I spent $400 on a camera system I expect it to work without any monthly subscription fee. But to take away basic features like removing the record button on the app is absolutely despicable greedy corporate behavior. Who ever is in charge of running this company, you should be ashamed of yourselves and you're money grubbing attitudes. Also if you have a technical issue this company has NO WORKING PHONE NUMBER! The way you get support is through the app, which is laughably non-existent at this point. No help whatsoever! I feel totally ripped off buying this system.

      A big mistake buying this brand. Their website is not user friendly and they do not address concerns! Complaints for years about notification alert sounds on IOS phones and still hasnt resolved the problem!

      Think twice about purchasing an arlo system. **************** is a complete disaster. No phone number to call. Second party support only wants to charge you and not solve a problem. They blocked me for my account so I can not cancel my subscription which is auto pay. BEWARE of AWS support.

      I just bought their camera. I got a lemon with a known issue when you try to install the device it says "internal error" when you try to simply name the device and you can't complete the installation. I talked with customer service several times and they basically said I'm out of luck until they come up with a solution with no ETA on when that might be. They should refund our replace.

      Cameras had such a delay, they would activate and record long after ****** left. There is ZERO customer service. There is no phone number to call for help, noone will call you to help if you request help, both of which are unacceptable for a security system. Not being able to get ahold of anyone, why bother. I shut my service off and went to SimpliSafe. They clearly have several phone numbers you can call, answer on first ring and have top-notch customer service. Their system and equipment is much more up to date! SKIP Arlo and dont waste your time or money!

      I have relatives that are fine with the Arlo they purchased 2 years ago. So I bought 4 cameras, I could get 1 to work. There is no customer support. I spent hours ( actually 4 days ) reviewing every thing online about troubleshooting and was doing everything as said. took the cameras to relatives homes that had Arlo and could not get them to work there . Returning them and going to try Ring. I have excellent WIFI and fast upload speeds. they would not sync and when they did would not work.

      I can't view any of my local storage. My cameras stopped working today due to me needing to upgrade them. They want to charge me 200 for 2 years and then charge me again after 2 years for them. This is the biggest scam out there. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. DO NOT BUY THESE CAMERAS. SAVE YOURSELF.

      The Arlo Security System is a very unreliable system. If you have problems the online customer service/chat line just tells you to remove the battery and reinstall for any problems you are experiencing with their product. They do not help you. It is unsafe to use their system.
