I have requested a copy of my contract from this Page Turner Press and have not received it. Requested the assistance from legal counsel and still no contract. I believe the contract has ended but I have no proof to regain the rights to my book. Also requested a reversion of rights letter still waiting on it.

      Dear BBB,

Thank you for the chance to address Ms. ******** concerns.
****************** availed a number of services from us from 2020 until 2021, including a publishing package, 12-month book returns insurance, and resubmission service. For the publication of her book, the service has already been paid in full and the book has already been published. As to the insurance she availed, the service amounted to $830; however, the client only paid $730. Despite that, we the insurance was still rendered. And as for the resubmission service, the book had been republished already.
As to her request of a copy of her contract, we believe that before we proceed with the fulfillment of the service, we make sure that our clients have already read and signed the agreement. Thus, we believe that ****************** already have copies of the agreements she signed with us. But should she need us to refurbish her with these copies, she can always send us her request via email and we would be more than happy to send her copies of her agreements.
Regarding the proof of the rights on her book, she need not look further than the copyrights page of her book. It is clearly stated there as to the entity who owns the rights to her bookits her. As to the reversion of the rights she has mentioned, she may send us an email so we may be able to verify what this is about.
We hope this clarifies things up, and thank you for this opportunity.

      Sincerely,

      PageTurner Press and Media

I was contacted by phone from "***** and ********" and told they were interested in obtaining my book "Evil Reigns" published in Jan. 2017. After many conversations, I later learned they were actually Page Turned Press and Media who supposedly represented ***** and ********. They repeatedly call me as ***************** I eventually DOC-U signed a contract and paid them $800 and then another $5,000 on my American Express Card. Then I paid the $1,100 for a website. I called **************** who denied any knowledge of them or any relationship with them. After the initial DOC U sign contract, they began repeatedly calling and asking for more immediate payments. The woman who sent the contracts to me later informed me she had no authority to do so. Subsequent investigation on your website revealed many others who were scammed by Page Turner. I called Am Express to investigate and asked them deny these payments. I believe they may be a scam organization.

      Dear BBB,

Thank you for the opportunity to address *********************** concern.
************** availed of a publishing package for $800 last June 6, 2022. To which the production team immediately commenced on the project. In fact, he has already approved of a book cover last June 20, 2022. However, when it was time to approve of the galley, ************** was no longer responsive to our production team. In fact, the production team had sent him emails regarding his galley. Hence, the project failed to move forward.
And it is this failure to move forward with the production of the book that led to the delay in the fulfillment of the web design that he availed last August 23, 2022. As he stated, it was for $1,100. And as ************** mentioned, he signed an agreement with us via DocuSign. And the said agreement stated that by affixing [their] signature or name initials. . . [they] hereby acknowledge that the fulfillment of the service shall commence right after the receipt of this form. Thus, cancellation of any form shall no longer be acknowledged by PageTurner Press and Media.
Regarding the $5,000 ************** mentioned, he did make a payment of the said amount for a bookstore retail and NYT advertising. He paid for the service last August 11, 2022. However, we received notice from Mr. ****** card company last August 26, 2022, that he had filed for a chargeback for the said service.
As to Mr. ****** statement that he was contacted by our agent who posed as an agent from ***** and ********, we have looked into this matter as this might have serious consequences to our company. We checked with the agent ************** had dealt with, and we found that nowhere was in the course of their communication did the agent state that they are from ***** and ********. Rather, what the agent stated was that they are willing to represent Mr. ****** book and pitch it to major traditional publishers, with ***** and ******** being one of them.
In sum, Mr. ****** projects failed to progress because of his lack of cooperation with us. Furthermore, ************** already made a chargeback for the service he mentioned, and the amount had already been credited to his account. Thus, sending him a refund would be redundant as the amount should already be given to him by his credit card company.

      Sincerely,

      PageTurner Press and Media
