Thank you for writing Experian(R) concerning your score. Our records indicate you enrolled in our complimentary Experian CreditWorksSM Basic membership on April 2, **** and that membership is still active.Your FICO(R) Score is calculated based on the data in your credit report at the time you request your credit report and score. Every time you request a new score, a new credit report is pulled, and your new score is calculated based on the information in your credit report, up to once a day. Be aware, your credit report *** change often. Differences in your score *** be due to a change in balance on one or more of your credit cards, payment updates, or the addition of new accounts. Even the fact that your account(s) is one month older can affect your score. If there are inaccuracies on your credit report, these could also be affecting your score and should be disputed directly with the credit-reporting agency providing that information. In general, there are many factors that can affect an individuals credit score, such as payment history, current debt, available credit to debt ratio, etc. The actual scoring model and its calculations are proprietary to Fair ***** Corporation. Credit scores are usually calculated based on the combination of all the credit factors in your credit report. Your credit score is not based solely on one single item or behavior. So although you *** have done something that you think should have changed your score, the FICO(R) Score actually looks at how this information combines with other information in your credit report and how, if any, this changes your credit score. Your score *** go up, down, or remain constant depending on each factor as well as a unique combination of factors. The score analysis section that comes with your FICO(R) Score should help you understand what specific credit factors had a positive and negative affect on your FICO(R) Score.

If you want to sign up for extortion go right ahead! They will collect your personal information charge you $30 within 7 days for a 30 day "free trial" and they will provide no services. It says they identified my info on 60 website and are in te process of requesting it to be taken down. nothing has happened in 10 days except I've received a record number of spam calls. Don't fall for this scam please.

Thank you for writing Experian(R) concerning your membership. Our records indicate you enrolled in our complimentary Experian CreditWorksSM Basic membership on February 8, 2023. On that same date you upgraded to our Experian IdentityWorksSM Premium with a 7-day trial period and monthly billing of $26.99. Your paid membership was downgraded to a pending status for our Experian CreditWorksSM Basic membership to start on March 19, 2023.Our records also indicate you received a courtesy refund of $26.99 on February 21, 2023.As for your personal privacy scan alerts which is part of your paid membership benefits, the initial request to remove your data from the different web sites goes out immediately when the information is found. Some of the sites remove the information within days but others take up to 45 days. Still other sites need a second request to remove the personal information found. We have checked with our product team, and they are still working with the sites where your information was located to have it removed. Some sites have processed the requests and others have not. You will receive updates of this process as they happen. Your membership will show as pending removal as long as the process has not completed. We hope this information is helpful when considering this matter.

By far the worst credit Bureau, I just settled an identify theft case with Discover where someone took my SSN and got a credit card with it. They also created an Experian account with my name. Experian gives zero options to recover this account. I click forgot username and it sends a link to the email that is not mine, it's the hackers. I click forgot password, and same thing, they send a link to the hacker. I try to call/email, with no response, or I just talk to a robot that goes in circles and refuses to connect me to a real person. This is a fairly common issue and they offer no solution. I don't know what to do, I am literally just stuck with someone having access to my credit report that isn't me. This is a terrible company, I don't understand how what they're doing is even legal. It is pure laziness. They do not care about there customers in the slightest.

It's one of the worst credit apps. It's only good if you stay in debt. So it not worth your time. If you pay a contract off, on time, no missed payments, or ahead of time when it's been paid off they remove it from your credit report like it never existed. So your starting over with credit again. It gets worse when you start paying for it. Also it always loses connections with accounts which I believe the accounts are kicking them out because they are doing something that security kicks them out for it. Then you get endless notices about disconnected accounts or problems with accounts. I'm talking 75 to 100 notices about account problems plus unless it's a active account it will be removed from your report. So you have to stay in debt to keep active credit report or you don't get a correct credit rating. What credit you already had is gone an it's like starting your credit all over again on closed paid accounts. That's for your entire credit life. BUYER BEWARE! ACCEPT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
