      I have been with DirecTV for over 10 yrs, never had issues until switching from sat to streaming. Had issues with streaming so DirecTV moved my service over to sat. In may of 2025 the sat was installed, never received an invoice for service stating when payment is due or amount not even my account number. On 6/30 they suspended my service without even notification. I called asking why am I being penalized for your mistake of not informing me before taking actions

      We had Directv Satellite but our reception was very bad all the time. We had 2 technicians that came out to try & find the problem. They knew what the problem was, but they did not have a fix and they suggested that we switch from Directv satellite to Directv Streaming. We discussed it with them at that time and they even got Directv streaming on the phone. We were told at that time that there would be no charge for the transfer to DIRECTV streaming. Many months later 4 to 6 months passed we got a bill for $200. At first I made 3 phone calls to talk to a representative but we kept getting notices to pay the bill bc we broke the contract. The first let I sent with just a required tracking number & 3 weeks later I sent another letter requiring a signature. So I know they received my letter explaining my complaint. I followed it up & spoke again to a representative but no one has returned my call. It is very frustrating that Directv wont cooperate to ***** this problem as we even asked to go to arbitration, but have heard nothing from them. We are we are frustrated as we do not want them to ruin our credit rating for a $200 charge. I am looking to resolve this with them.

      I have a choice direct tv package called choice. Over the years they have removed channels and changed packages based on what you watch to charge you more. I pay for a choice package in that package is 2 channels that have local sports, a charge of 7.99 extra. I already pay for my choice package!!!! I don't even watch these channels and they want to charge me extra when I already pay for the package. This is price gouging and should be illegal! This is an over reach of direct tv and have fees for every little thing which is ridiculous the amount to have to pay! Direct tv is the only provider we can get in our location. I Feel this needs to be looked into!

      If I could leave zero stars I would. I had service with Direct TV for several years. We decided to cancel service a year ago. I received my absurd final bill of about $600 for cancelling about 2 months early. Paid the entire bill. About 6 months later I receive a very unprofessional and sketchy text message stating that I owed $135. Well, I had just paid my final bill so was unsure what this charge was for. I called the number on the text message and could just hear what sounded like kids laughing. So, again, very unprofessional. Unprofessional text and phone call, so of course I am thinking this was a scam. So, I hang up and call Direct TV directly. The direct TV representative tells me that my account is current and there is a zero dollar balance on all accounts. Well, a couple months later I am receiving notification of a new collection that was placed on my credit. When I called DirectTV to investigate this, I was called a liar when I told them I called several times to proactively avoid this. I NEVER received a bill in the mail regarding this balance and when that was brought up, the Manager, ****, continued to say that they would not send out a bill every month to remind me, that it's my account, my responsibility. How would I know to look for a monthly bill if I didn't even know I had a balance beyond the $600 since two different representatives told me I had a zero-dollar balance? In the end, they still made me pay the full amount due and took NO responsibility for that fact that their workers gave incorrect information. Instead, they wanted to fault me on everything I did proactively to avoid this. I will NEVER go with DirectTV again.

      DirecTV will scam you. They will not tell you information needed and will give you incorrect or incomplete answers. Cancelled my account. The *** basically hung up on me and did not let me know the equipment needed to be returned. I was charged for this a month later. I called DirecTV - they told me I didnt need to return it and the case would be escalated. I disputed with my credit card in the mean time but they sided with DirecTV. I called again to which I was told that the *** has to manually send me a return label. I told them I was not offered this. I was told there was nothing more I could do. I asked to speak to someone else. I was told I could but this would be a waste of my time since I now own the equipment. I also asked why I wouldnt have gotten notification that I needed to return the equipment or I would be charged. The *** said they dont do that! Basically you are on your own.

      I tried DIRECTV streaming service they kept saying it was free trial and would like to send me a free DIRECTV box I told them ok I cancelled the service the next day and they had changed my credit card $113 and credited it back but charged me for a box that I dont have $129 and will not remove it off my *********** account and capitol one wont give me my money back scam do not get DIRECTV and capitol one does not protect their customers

      I've been a customer of ********************** Streaming for several years now. It is a great service and reasonably priced. My complaint about them is that on the streaming service, they accept only one method of payment. Autopay on a credit or debit card. If your card is stolen and you don't have another way of paying until a new card arrives, there is no way to pay the bill by any other method. You cannot ask to pay early, you cannot pay by bank withdrawal, you cannot write a check. You have to risk your service being cut off until you can setup a new autopay. This is a horrible business model and needs to be changed. You should have more than one option of paying your bill for their service. It is to the point that I'm seriously considering cancelling the service...all because I can't pay my bill.

      ****. beware! Learned a ****** to always read the contract. Got a few months at a discounted price, decided it wasnt worth it after month 1. Called to cancel and was informed the contract is a year. Price to cancel was more costly than 6 months combined, around $500 so we came to the conclusion we will wait a few more months for this fee to decrease (we were told it decreases but it actually does not ever decrease). Decided we were stuck and cut our losses. Then they increase the price after 3 months by $60, up to $150 a month which we were not informed when we called to cancel, so it wouldve been worth it to pay the $500, but person on phone did not care to explain or help.

      Apparently Direct Tv is complicit in allowing customers when using DVR to charge to see old episodes 2.99 . Also saying customer has to subscribe to see future programs already part of their package. A customer representative has confirmed this practice. If customer is not aware of message and doesn't reply they will be charged. This should not be allowed.

      For the past month I have had numerous issues with signal outages. This does not only occur when there is bad weather, it occurs on a daily basis affecting my ability to view the channels that I pay for each month. I have called to complain and have been told that I will receive a discount on my next bill and that there is some network outage on the channels I no longer receive. The problem will be noted and I can expect service restored, this has not come to pass. I am angered and am considering going to another provider as I feel uncared for as a customer, particularly after I have been with DirecTV for many years. Additionally, I have been told by a customer service representative that if it is too cloudy I cannot watch television,. I lived in ***** for many years and went through hurricanes, I still retained service as long as I had power. I find this unacceptable and a lazy response in order to get a complaining customer off of the phone. As I sit here and write this I am currently attempting to watch a movie on *** while the signal goes in and out on a sunny day.
