      We signed up for Direct TV in May 2024. We have been having trouble with the service since we signed up. We call customer support several times a week, occasionally we have to call two times/day. The numerous problems include but are not limited to: on screen messages advising they are having trouble loading the information please try later the TV freezing up and not able to play the desired program sound control from the hand-held remote control not working having to try to turn off the TV several times before the TV actually shuts off having to reboot the TV while on the phone with customer support not playing the local channels. On one occasion the consumer service *** told us, just buy a new TV. On another occasion the ***resentative told us that it would be two days until local channels would be available. A call 10 minutes later to a different ***resentative solved the problem.when we reboot from instructions from customer service, we often have to re-sign in to all of our apps unable to play the TV channels after watching selected apps, such as YouTube Customer support advised us we would be penalized if we cancel our contract early and we still are committed for another 11 months. We pay our monthly bill on time and feel Direct TV has not lived up to their contractual commitment to deliver adequate service. We are very disappointed with Direct TV.

      I have been a Customer of ********************** for over 8 years and they keep raising my bill without any notice ,current Price is $ ****** just for TV . Going to switch soon. Can't watch 5 or 6 ****** Races this season. If you are thinking about going with Direct TV (DON"T) you will be very disappointed . If it has any kind of thunder or rain in area I loose service . They don't deserve 1 star but that's the worst you can give them.Very Unhappy Customer !!!!

      Deceptive advertising and prices. They quote low base price, offer a bundle with several un-needed options that are free for a short period of time and then if you drop them after they start to charge the price actually goes up because its no longer part of the bundle. And then when I tried to cancel services in full we were charges the equivalent of 2-1/2 months because we were on a 24-month contract. Still cheaper than keeping the service though!

      I've been calling DirecTV for the last week they're giving me the runaround they won't give me my account number so I can send back the Box they won't delete my bank information from their account and I can't even log into my account ********************** is a f****** joke they charged me $130 for TV without telling me they were upping the price

      ******** customer service. My service went through troubleshooting, and was determined to be in need of a service call. Directv support advised me that they had to charge me 9.99 for a service call. To service equipment that belongs to THEM! So now, its the customers fault if THEIR equipment does not work as it should?F**K you stupid MF'ERS.I

      I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the recent transition of DIRECTV from **** and the billing issues that *********** January 2025, I enrolled in a promotional plan for TV services. On May 13, 2025 prior to the full transition from ****I was charged $256.00. Shortly thereafter, I received a statement directly from DIRECTV stating that my new monthly bill would be $139.26 and instructing me to set up autopay for this amount to be withdrawn on May 28, 2025. I followed these instructions.However, on May 28, 2025, instead of the expected $139.26, a total of $278.52 was withdrawn from my account without notice. When I contacted customer support, I was told that I was behind on payments, which is not accurateI have always remained current on my bills.Initially, I was informed that I would receive a credit for the overcharge, but this decision was later reversed, and I was told I would not be reimbursed. While I appreciate the efforts of the customer service representatives, I hold ******************** accountable for these errors and the lack of communication.I hope this matter can be reviewed and resolved fairly.

      Not that this will help me, but maybe it will help others. Directv has zero incentives or compassion for existing customers, and heaven forbid you try to cancel after 16 years of service!!! Apparently, adding a receiver in 2023 put me "under contract" for 2 years. This was for my husband who recently passed. I cannot cancel today to pro-rate the service, the "billing cycle" end date is the only date I can choose. Then, because of the contract, I must pay $10 per month until the contract ends in October! If my current streaming service, that is 167% less than the Directv service, I will NEVER return to Directv. YEs, of course they offered me a lower rate to stay...for 12 months. Why would that be good for me??? DO NOT place your trust in Directv!!!!!!!

      Our mother began to feel ill in 2018 and I took over paying her bills in 2021. She only had water/sewer/trash as autopay, didn't trust it and stopped that. She paid last bill and ended Direct TV services sometime prior to 2019. She passed away 1-23-24. We began receiving notices of autopay errors in March and April 2024, and then data breach letter April 2024. Nothing else after until April 28, 2025 a letter from *** debt collector claiming she owed $189.00 for unpaid services *******. We closed on her house 6-18-2024. Both Direct TV and ICS have stellar BBB ratings, however, this is a very poor way to conduct business!!
