I purchased a screen protector directly at ***** in March 2025 and paid via Apple Pay. When I left there was no physical receipt due to paying with Apple Pay. I processed a claim and was told my receipt was not efficient. I sent back my receipt to explain. Defined again. I called and spoke to someone for 30 min and was told that I needed a receipt. Feels like fraud or ************** I proved pictures and copy of Apple Pay receipt. Lied to for a warranty screen protector replacement and it has been less than 3 month since purchase!Initial Complaint

Dear BBB and Belkin Support,I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the lack of customer service and support surrounding a product I purchased directly from your website on October 10, 2024. The item in question is your privacy screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro Max ****** Number: OVA170FQ).Not only is the product defective, but it has also been nearly impossible to reach a real person for assistance. Ive tried multiple times through your support channels, only to be met with automated systems that provide no meaningful help. This level of service is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable for a company of your reputation.I have photos ready to document the issue and am requesting an immediate replacement. I am filing this complaint because I was instructed by Belkins customer service to dispose of a defective USB-C 6-in-1 Multiport Adapter (Part #: AVC008btSGY) after providing all requested documentation, including my receipt and product details. I was under the impression that a replacement unit would be sent without requiring me to return the defective unit, as per Belkins direction.Following their instructions, I responsibly disposed of the non-functional unit, which I now cannot retrieve. I have since been informed that the replacement request has been cancelled due to non-return of the item. This is unreasonable and unacceptable, as I followed the guidance given to me by Belkin's own support team.I am now left without the product I paid for and am unable to send it back as it was discarded per the companys own directive. I am requesting that Belkin honor their commitment and send the replacement unit as originally approved. It is not possible to return garbage, especially after acting in good faith on the companys instruction.Desired Outcome: I would like Belkin to send a replacement unit as promised and resolve this issue promptly. I PURCHASED A SCREEN PROTECTOR FOR MY IPHONE 16PRO. IT WAS $53 AND IT INCLUDES UNLIMITED REPLACEMENTS FOR CRACKS AND ANY DAMAGE. I SENT IN FOR A REPLACEMENT AND INCLUDED A PICTURE OF THE DAMAGE AS REQUESTED. (CASE #******** AND #********) AND WAS TOLD TWICE THAT IT IS NOT COVERED. I WENT TO ******* IN ******* NY TO VERIFY THAT IT IS COVERED AND THEY SAID YES, SO I TRIED AGAIN TO FILE FOR THE REPLACEMENT, THEY AGAIN SAID "NOT COVERED". I THEN HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PURCHASE A NEW SCREEN PROTECTOR, WHICH I DID PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY, BUT A DIFFERENT COMPANY SINCE I KNEW BELKIN DID NOT STAND BY THEIR REPLACEMENT POLICY. THEN A MONTH LETER, I GOT AN EMAIL FROM BELKIN SAYING THEY TOOK ANOTHER LOOK AT THE WARRANTY AND DECIDED IT IS COVERED FOR A REPLACEMENT. I CALLED THEM AND TOLD THEM THAT I ALREADY PURCHASED ANOTHER SCREEN PROTECTOR FROM ANOTHER COMPANY AND NOW I CAN'T USE THEIR REPLACEMENT. I ASKED FOR A REFUND BECAUSE I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO BUY ANOTHER SCREEN PROTECTOR, SINCE THEY DENIED ME TWICE. I SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR TO ESCALATE THE REQUEST AND THEY SAID REPLACEMENT ONLY. Belkin sells screen protectors for phone with the false promise of replacements through their warranty. They scammed me. I purchased a screen protector at *****, registered it, and it cracked in multiple places within less than two months. Because of the cracking, shards of glass started falling out so I threw the product away. They then denied my warranty claim because I didnt have a photo. They clearly dont value safety as they expected me to handle the glass shard ridden protector to get a photo and denied my claim. They are liars and scammers. Recently I purchased a Belkin charger (WIZ009ttBK), they refused to stand by their product not adhering to spirit of their warranty. They make defective products that often fail and then they will not stand by them. While using a Belkin Surge protector model: BE112230-08 which has a 2 year and $300,000 connected equipment protection warranty, during a power outage, our Arris Surfboard S33 which was connected to the above surge protector was damaged. When contacting belkin, they will not replace the surge protector and credit the modem. You can only choose 1 to get reimbursement for. In addition, regardless of what you choose, you also have to send the surge protector back to them and I have to pay for shipping. After repeated contacts with their customer service and escalation, the failed to remedy the situation. Note we purchased the Belkin product in November of 2023 which is well within the 2 year warranty period. The costs sited above are the total costs we are looking for based on the products that were damaged.Initial Complaint

Building provided some phone chargers in replacement for their cameras that became obsolete however, none of the four chargers work they have never worked 100%. I reportedthe issue several times with their **** who told me somebody would contact me back and then never happened. this is unacceptable as I invested a lot of money in buying cameras that became obsolete and for them to give me this phone charges that barely work dont work 90% of the time is unacceptable and he doesnt fix this issue. Im making several complaints with other government agencies in regards to these issues.Business Response
