    This businesses is very sneaky in getting money. When you buy one product they automatically sign you up for an auto renewal that takes out quite a bit of money over the next year. Its incredibly hard to reach them over the phone and when you try to cancel your membership, they keep trying to postpone your order instead of cancelling the membership.

    (4/11/2023) Thought was 1x purchased, canceled immediate via chat 2x and kept receiving supplies/charges to my CC. Had to call (excessive wait time and confusing process). I reeturned all items with the guarantee period via *** tracking w/$100 insurance as instructed at my personal expense $15. **************** said it would take 8 weeks or more to process refund and told any future shipments canceled. But I read in many BBB complaints of issues that not canceled and kept billing CC. So I called my CC to dispute the 2 charges explaining all items returned for refunds (3/6 and 3/6/2023) but since taking 8+ weeks for smileactives to process to enter dispute resolution and "stop future charges" from this vendor until refunds issued.Website has no email only chat option and chat cancellation defaults to delay--unable to cancel online from within account and kept calling # (number hard to fine). Time consuming and very frustrating to contact them, to cancel. Consumer be aware, better to go through Amazon or other more reliable channels.

    I have canceled 2x on their chat and later on 888#s (hours to get through and not sure if actually canceled / customer service hard to understand their English or that they understood I canceled already on their website chat which is also very confusing and has no "cancel" option on website just confusing chat process with customer service. Notices on ******************** and ****** search many complaints about this service/canceling and returning items-- though canceled, they kept sending products???? Waiting for refund and that they stop sending products I don't want ... told from their 888# it may take up to 8 weeks? I returned all items via *** with tracking and insurance $100 per their request at my expense.

    I was excited after seeing the product this company offers via television ads. I signed up and received my first two bottles of the tooth whitening product. I was surprised after receiving the bottles, which were very small for the amount charged. After using the product for one month, I saw NO results whatsoever. I then tried to cancel my account with them via PayPal, and couldn't do so. I had to contact Smileactives customer service **** which of course, tried to discourage me from cancelling. I did, in fact, manage to cancel my membership with Smileactives and received an email regarding this. However, the email said I should pay up on what I owed them. Mind you, I had already paid for the first two bottles of product and they still wanted more money. I contacted PayPal and complained. They told me that my PayPal account with Smileactives was NEVER cancelled. The PayPal people therefore cancelled it for me. They also contacted the company and got me a refund for half of what was owed but not the remaining amount, which showed up in PayPay as pending, because the product was in the midst of being shipped. The Smileactives customer service told me that I cannot receive any refund on that product, unless I re ship it back to them, but at my expense. Their company doesn't provide return shipment labels at no cost to the dissatisfied customer at all. The amount I'd have to spend on sending an unused product back to them before issuing me a refund isn't worth it. My impression of this company is that it is a total SCAM with false advertising, terrible customer service, and the inability to personally cancel within the PayPal system. Something should be done about this company, as they seem illegitimate. And, they also use foreign people for their customer service, which tells me that it is all done away from ******* altogether, despite the company address being listed in **********. Most likely, the product is manufactured overseas.

    Worst ***************** Canceled membership in 2022 then 6 months later started receiving product and getting charged without my consent. When I initially tried to cancel via their online chat, I was left waiting for a response for over and hour! I eventually called and spoke to someone (language barrier) and told him three times I wanted to cancel. So when I started receiving product again I was understandably upset. I got online again to cancel. Online chat started the same with the hesitation and sales pitch to keep receiving their product. I NEVER complain or get upset with little things like this but the lack of concern or care about MY REQUEST to cancel my membership was very upsetting. Nothing wrong with the product, however they don't need to shove it down peoples throats to keep business. I would have recommended it to others but not now after dealing with the customer service.
