    I called customer service to cancel the subscription that I never ordered but I'm still getting charged. The *** gave an excuse of payments being taken out over a period of time. It is overpriced and I haven't seen any difference in the whitening of my teeth.

    We regret any confusion over the billing for the smileactives 90-day replenishment shipments.  The cost of a full-size 90-day replenishment kit is split into 3 payments billed over a 31-day billing cycle with the first payment charged when the order ships.  While cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation; they continue to bill unless returned within the 60-day money back guarantee or until paid in full.  You last replenishment kit had been shipped in December before your cancellation. The February charge was the last of 3 for that order. 
    When trying a new product results may vary for each individual and for each product. Some people may see results in 3-7 days when using our Power Whitening Gel as instructed; for some it will take a little longer. This process is a gradual one. Please remember that there are a lot of factors that go into how long the process takes, such as age, medication, eating habits, dental work, etc. It all depends on the stains, how long they have been there, and how deeply rooted they are in the enamel.  We regret to learn you were not pleased with your results.  Every smileactivesshipment is covered by a 60-day money back guarantee.

    So, long story short, I bought the intro pack in Dec 2024, but didn't know there was a subscription element to it. Got my first "refill pack" in Jan 2025 and promptly cancelled the subscription. I received an email from them saying my account was cancelled and they noted my final payment for the box I received in Jan 2025. My bank statement shows that amount was charged. Here is the kicker, it is now Feb 2025 (a month after this business sent me the cancellation confirmed email) and they charged my account again. This is against the law and I have reached out to legal representation to resolve this issue. I have also called my bank and cancelled my card that was used. I suggest you do the same as this company does not honor cancellation requests they receive, even those they have confirmed that were cancelled via email.

    We apologize for any confusion regarding the billing for your 2nd shipment and the cancellation email.  The replenishment kit you received in January was a 90-day supply with the total cost split over 3 months rather than being charged in full when it shipped, unlike your initial 30-day introductory kit.  The information about the replenishment kits (and 3- payments) is provided online before any introductory kit can be purchased, also in your order confirmation email.  When you placed your initial order for the introductory kit your agreed to the terms of the purchase.
    Although cancelling stops future shipments it does not cancel any balance due, or payments scheduled for a shipment that has already been received. They continue to bill until paid in full or return within the 60-day money back guarantee for credit.  The cancellation confirmation email would normally note any remaining balance rather than a payment already posted.
    Your account reflects that you disputed the Feb payment (2nd installment) for the replenishment shipment. That installment was refunded by your bank via a chargeback or payment reversal.  Our records reflect that the 90-day replenishment kit was returned.  The remaining balance was cleared and a refund issued for the 1st installment.

    STAY AWAY FROM SMILEACTIVES! I wish I had seen this site before I ordered from them. Their advertising is totally deceptive and their customer service is worse. When I first ordered their product online i believed it to be a one time purchase, not a subscription. Even after cancelling my account and sending back the product they are still taking money from my account every month. Today they have promised again to refund my money, but I have little confidence they will do so.

One-time purchases are available but only for individual items (not kits) and at retail prices.
    Your 2nd shipment was sent as scheduled on 12/23/24.  Since it was a 90-day replenishment kit the cost was split into 3 installments.  When you contacted us 1/3/24 your account was cancelled per your request.  Information was provided regarding the balance for that shipment and return instructions since orders already shipped continue to bill until paid in full unless return within the 60-day MBG even if the subscription is cancelled. 
    Your 2nd shipment was received at our facility and processed as a return at which time a refund was issued and the remaining balance cleared.

    Absolutely terrible - the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First of all, you can never log in to your account to cancel anything, so you're forced to use the chat on their website. They take forever and then after a few prompts it says "I'm sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." I try over and over and keep getting this. Then no one answers their phone number. So I literally cannot get any help. The reason I was calling today is because last time I tried to cancel my subscription they convinced me to pause instead of canceling. They assured me that I would not be charged or receive any products until February. However, today, in January I was charged. I am so fed up with this company. DO NOT PURCHASE! You will never be able to get any help or be able to stop being charged. I will be contacting my bank to not process any payments from this company.

    The same thing everybody else says. Ordered it...didn't work...asked for refund. They said they would. I didn't get a refund, but then started getting bills for $93.00 which I kept sending back. I never signed up for a recurring payment. HORRIBLE company and a legit scam!! They don't deserve one star. My time is wasted on talking to people who can't do a dang thing. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

    Your account does not reflect any returns so the scheduled payments for that last order continued to bill.  When one was disputed by your bank that triggered the billing notices.  When you spoke with us again 1/6/25 you informed us you had refused the shipments. Unfortunately, returning a product via "Return to Sender" without verifiable proof of mailing,oftentimes results in a package never being received back to our facility to process a return credit to clear any balance owed.
    As an exception to our advertised return policy, your remaining balance has now been cleared.

    SmileActives is a complete scam. I received one package in August of 2024. SmileActives charged me on 09/18/2024 for $41.77 processed, 10/19/2024 for $41.76 processed, 11/19/2024 for $41.76 processed. I did not receive a package. I used their online chatting feature to request a refund. SmileActives blamed me for failing to contact them earlier to request a refund, despite their failure to send me a product. I told them this is fraudulent business activity. SmileActives sent me a partial refund when I should have received a total of $125.29.

    When you first contacted us on 12/19/24, via LiveChat, your subscription was cancelled, and a refund was issued for the most recent shipment still within the MBG.  Also, a request for a review was forwarded to our support team regarding the 9/18 shipment since the *** had expired for that order a month earlier.  On 12/31/24 as a goodwill gesture and exception to our advertised return policy a full refund was issued for that shipment.

    I tried Smile Actives. I tried to cancel the subscription. I emailed several times. Kept getting bills and unwanted packages. Was finally able to contact and cancel my account, but I'm still getting bills for $89.26. Trying desperately to cancel and not have anything else to do with this company. I have not receive multiple shipments that they say they sent. I believe that this company is a scam and would like assistance in cancelling my subscription and do not believe that I should give them any more of my money. Please help.

    Our records reflect that the first contact we received regarding your smileactives account was your LiveChat on 10/1/24.  At that time your subscription was cancelled per your request.  If you sent emails as a respond to any unmonitored no-reply promotional or confirmation email addresses (such as an order or shipment confirmation) then you should have received an automatic response advising of this and which also provided our contact information. We regret if you encountered any difficulty reaching us via email.

    No additional shipments were sent after your cancellation but your last shipment (shipped 9/13/24) still had a remaining balance.  That shipment was a 90-day supply with the cost split into 3 installments; the first charged when the order is shipped; the remaining 2 billed over a 31-day billing cycle.  While cancelling stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation.     Buyer beware! I tried Smile Actives. I tried to cancel the subscription after I recieved my second order. **************** *** tried to badger me into continuing the subscription. I told her I simply wanted to cancel. We eventually agreed that we would revisit the subscription after the first of the year and the *** told me she would put a "pause" on my subscription until I followed up. I continue to recieve bills and now emails about my subscription. Beware, if you subscribe, this company is very hard to deal with when trying to cancel the subscription.

    Apparently I'm not the only one who's had this issue. I ordered some product and ended up with a subscription along with another product I DID NOT order. I called to cancel this subscription I didn't know I signed up for back in October 2024. They charged my account on November 8, 2024 and today, December 9. The customer service *** I talked to tried to give me the same spiel the last *** gave me when I told them to cancel the subscription. He told me I had to return the product I wasn't supposed to have received - and I told him that's the exact same thing that happened the last time I called to cancel! I returned the product back in October and here we are again in the same situation! Do NOT trust this company. And besides all that ******, the product DOES NOT WORK, at least not for me!
