Scam. Won't let me cancel, won't let me reset my password, recurring charge for a non-existent service, misleading offer details. All around ************. *********.Stamps.com

Hi ****,
We are sorry to hear that you encountered such a negative experience. Rest assured that we have closed your account -we offer multiple methods and channels to cancel -and we have refunded $99.95 to your credit card. We apologize for any misunderstanding. We hear your concerns and we fully disclose our fees before any account can be created. We don't advertise or offer a free or pay-as-you-go service, and as disclosed and explained during registration, we do charge a $19.99 monthly fee after the 4-Week Trial Period, which ended on your account on 9/18/24.
The fee we charge gives you access to services of the *********** and the license to print official U.S. postage. Its a flat fee that is not determined by how much postage you print. Stamps.com is a vendor licensed by the ****, and all paid postage goes directly to the ***********. In order to offer our standard service, we do charge a monthly subscription fee, as stated in our Terms of Service: www.stamps.com/conditions
We never charge people without their full agreement during our online registration process. *********** fee is not based on usage or activity. The monthly subscription service fee that Stamps.com charges is for access of the Stamps.com software, which allows customers to print postage from the comfort of their home or small office using just a PC and a printer. *********** is a monthly subscription service so its not based on usage of the software, but rather on having access to using it.
We believe in full disclosure, and information about our fees is available on our website, interface, Terms, and FAQs.Sincerely,

Very misleading company. I just wanted to print a label and ended up not being able to print a label and charged anyways. Tried canceling but said it would take 4-6 weeks for a refund although they were able to charge immediately. Tried to get someone on the phone but sat on hold for over 30 min. The live agent chat is only automated. Definitely Beware of this companyStamps.com

Absolutely infuriating. I used their service ONCE for a $4 label to send something to get repaired and I was somehow signed up for a $20/mo subscription without my knowledge. I didn't notice until over a year later, meaning I've lost over $300 because of this shady company.Stamps.com

I was on a trial I cancelled my account and closed/deleted but they still have my debit card information on file. I have called the customer service support and I was told that it was a valid transaction and cannot be disputed. It was a small amount but them having my card information from a deleted account is a RED FLAG!!! ***** this company. I should have never trusted.Stamps.com

Have had this account for 2 months. Have yet to use it. Nothing but problems. Locked my account out, and didn't tell us. Had to wait on hold for an hour. Now we were charged for 2 transactions to add postage, that we DID NOT authorize. They are telling us it will take 30 BUISINESS DAYS for a refund. That is unacceptable.Stamps.com

I've contacted them numerous times because my refund has not been processed. I highly recommend you not use this service.Stamps.com

I made a one-time order over a year ago. I was signed up for a free trial without my knowledge. I didn't receive any emails with renewal notices or billing statements. I was charged $20 a month for the past year despite never needing a membership, never knowing I had a membership, and never once using the site in that time. With the way the charges are deeply buried it seems intentional, unlike other sites that at least notify you when you are going to be charged!Stamps.com

DO NOT USE STAMPS.COM I spent 3 days attempting to print 333 Certified Mail labels with Electronic Return Receipt. After 4 calls of 45 minutes to 3 hours each, a top tier tech spent several hours through remote access printing the majority of the labels because the software and website kept getting STUCK on the loading screen.I mailed the 333 letters. The client we mailed for called to find out when he can expect the emailed receipts. Stamps.com says there was an error with the software but it was ****** fault and that I need to file a dispute with ***** I PAID $2400 TO STAMPS.COM FOR ELECTRONIC RETURN RECEIPT and they DID NOT FULFILL their obligation to the PAID services.I have been on the phone for 3 days now, for a total of 16 hours speaking with 3 supervisors and none of them are correcting the issue or offering the refund of the electronic receipt fee of $2.32 X 333 letters. I come back from lunch prepared to export the 333 addresses and tracking numbers to then input them into the *****com tracking window so that I can then add the client's email....and STAMPS.COM has closed my account. AGAIN, I am on the phone the STAMPS>COM help desk and they "don't know why the account was closed." I can't access any of the addresses/tracking labels we PAID for. DO NOT USE STAMPS.COMStamps.com
