      I thought *****, the sales person was very helpful! I hope I never have to use the system... but at my age and living in a rural area along the ** ********** coast it is comforting to have it. Thanks. I noticed in the **** Magazine that I was to get a free gift when I ordered and a free first aid kit... hope those come with my shipped order. Thank you!

      I was very surprised at how easy it was to set up our 4 devices for my aunt. I was thankful of having ***** as my copilot, she made sure everything went smoothly. Also, the entire experience of purchasing this product has been very easy and satisfying in knowing that my loved one has help in a matter of simply pushing a button 24/7 and help is on her way.

      In September 2023, my mother ordered Life Alert after a fall, and despite the high cost and buyer's remorse, she reluctantly agreed due to fear tactics. The equipment arrived, and aggressive sales approaches convinced her to keep it. Research revealed competitors' superiority, especially in automatic fall detection.Cancellation required talking to their salesperson, and a heated conversation ensued, questioning their practices and highlighting competitors' advantages. The salesperson refused to cancel without my mother's call.Contacting Life Alert again, they initially insisted on the salesperson's involvement but eventually allowed cancellation without it. Refunds were discussed, excluding the non-refundable activation fee, though my mother never signed the contract.Returning the equipment faced challenges, with lost packages and eventual receipt by Life Alert. After persistent calls and negotiations over a month, they eventually agreed to a full refund, without agreeing to the $50 restocking fee.Dealing with Life Alert was stressful, leading to valuable lessons. State consumer protection laws, including a cooling-off period, could have facilitated a quicker resolution. Instead of prolonged negotiations, informing them of a bank dispute might have expedited the process.The review emphasizes Life Alert's shortcomings compared to competitors and suggests lowering monthly charges. The central message encourages others to dispute charges with their bank, prompting Life Alert to reconsider aggressive sales tactics and pricing. The overall experience highlighted the need for improved customer service and transparent business practices in the medical alert industry.

      We appreciate your review as we take all suggestions seriously. We apologize for any frustration you or your mother *** have gone through.  However,we were surprised to hear that she was reluctant to order when speaking to our Care Manager because they had a lovely conversation.  Your mother was even playful and teased him over the name of her town. Please know, the delay in receiving our equipment was due to the carrier, not Life Alert.  Moreover,all monies have been refunded.  

      We understand that money is tight for many people right now,that is why Life Alert is the ONLY medical alert company that offers a PRICE GUARANTEE service agreement promising that we will not raise your prices or have hidden fees like the other guys.  Many of the other companies will promote one price but then raise the prices later on.  Even worse, many of their equipment is not top-of-the-line. We get calls every day from people who want to join the Life Alert family because the devices they have are horrible and dont work.  Sadly, they found out the hard way that the other guys are no where near superior to Life Alert.  

      Just to show how we are different, Life Alert is the ONLY medical alert company PROVEN to save a life every 11 minutes.  No other company can claim that. We are the ONLY medical alert company whose devices never need charging so our subscribers stay protected 24/7.  If a device is on a charger it is NOT on your loved one.  Life Alert owns its own emergency dispatch center and we are a PRIORTY ONE with emergency services,which mean, our calls go straight to the front of the line, no waiting and no busy signal.  

      We manufacture our cutting-edge devices and we have a technical service ***** that monitors the equipment.  Life Alert does not offer Fall Detection at this time because the technology is faulty and not 100%.  Life Alert simply refuses to put our reputable name and the lives of our subscribers in jeopardy with a feature that *** not work all the time. Furthermore, depending on the type of fall, the fall detection *** not go off at all, rendering the service useless.  We suggest that you read the fine print of companies that do offer Fall Detection.

      Lastly,we have a Fraud *************** that helps non-customers who were scammed by the other devices on the market, many which offered fall detection.

      I declined the services due to the price, and the sales rep **** decided to start making fun of me for not being able to afford the services. Luckily I was able to do a quick ****** search and find something at a more reasonable price that offered better fall detection services. Please avoid **** at all costs, he refused to tell me his last name or transfer me to management. If this is how life alert trains their sales reps I recommend staying far far away.

      This review is completely untrue.  Our representative was friendly and informative, and he never insulted this person.  However, we would like to take this opportunity to show how much better we are than the cheaper guys that offer faulty technology.
