  Life alert actually saved my life. I am 79 years old and a chronic stroke patient. I can barely function at times, but i still have my **** about me. My thought is to leave this review because i owe them a lot, *** had 3 bouts where they had to come pick me up in the ambulance. I did not enjoy this... but i survived it. Now i get to hold my grandkids still.. this is worth the world.

  Do not use this company! My father has dementia and ordered a life alert system. Miss taken ***. When I tried to call and cancel it the woman on the phone. Her name is *****. Bullied my father. It was awful. They are very nice if you use their product, but if you decide to cancel, watch out.! I would get this company zero stars if I could

  We are surprised by this review.  Per the conversation you had with a manager, you were very happy and impressed with his attention to your concerns.  Moreover, you profusely thanked him for his time, attention,and hands-on approach to your needs, and the call ended in a resolution that you were happy with.  Were sorry you felt the need to post this review that differs from our documentation.

  The issue was not with management. The issue was with a rude bullying agent. I have the conversation recorded on my phone. I am so glad I was there with my father. Again, based on this experience I would never use or recommend this company. I am also still waiting for my refund .

  After my grandmother fell when she was alone, I knew that I needed something that would help her. I bought Life Alert because I wanted her to have a way to call for help in case of an emergency. Life Alert was easy to set up and use. The operators are very friendly and professional. They respond quickly and stay on the line until help arrives. They also notify me and other family members whenever there is an alert. Life Alert gives me peace of mind and my grandmother more independence. I think it is worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a medical alert system.

  I bought life alert for my mom and a few days after I received it she passed away. I called and talk to a person with life alert and they told me to take my time with sending the machine back because I never even opened the box it came in. I then sent it back a few months later because loosing my mother took a toll on me and my family. I called and asked if they received it and they told me yes and I asked if I could have a refund. They told me no because it was over 90 days. When I called them they did not tell me that and I never opened it. So now they will not refund me anything. I think that they should explain that when you purchase the item. I would have thought they would be more willing to work with me since they want to help people and also would understand that returning something you never used or opened was the last thing on my mind. They act so nice but in reality all they want is your money. Sure the life alert is a good idea but I would not advise anyone to buy this product.

  We understand how emotionally confusing of a time this can be as we work with grieving families daily.  That is why, as a courtesy, we make arrangements to have our equipment shipped back to **, free of charge, to help relieve stress from family members.
  
  We made *** arrangements with you to retrieve our equipment, but then you cancelled our complimentary pick-up as you wanted to ship it back on your own. 

  For well over six months, we did not receive our equipment, we called and texted you with reminders, but there was no response on your end. We had no choice but to charge a missing equipment fee for the loss of our expensive devices.
  
  Again, you have our sympathies with the loss of your mother, and we wish you the best.

  I decided to give Life alert a try after my grandmother had a fall a couple of years back. I couldn't be happier with their customer service and immediate **********************. My grandmother had another fall within 3 months of activating the service and they were so quick to respond. Thankfully their quick response made it so my grandmother can get the proper care needed fast. My grandmother is now back home and getting well. I will definitely continue using them.

  Their customer service staff where so helpful. The set up was easier than expected and i received my package just in time. I appreciate the quick response on both the customer service and ********************************************* ends. My mother feels more at ease knowing she is one call away from getting help in any emergency and at any given time.
