I will never be purchasing from VAVA again. Their customer service is beyond disappointing. For such a high price point youd assume that theyre support would be significantly better. My monitor stopped working. Wouldnt turn off or go into sleep mode. Forcing me to keep it charged 24/7. I reached out to customer service for assistance as its within the 1 year warranty. Theyre requesting for me to send the camera and monitors back prior to them sending a replacement. With a 9 month old at home, Im not sure how Im suppose to monitor my baby while she sleeps as I wait for this replacement without a camera. The long period in between replies is actually wild, going as long as 4(and counting days). Providing no direct support at all.Initial Complaint

I purchased a short throw projector a vava Ive only had it for 2 years it cost me 2500 dollars about 3 months ago a white dot was in my screen then there was 4 dots now theres a million I cant even see the picture I have the projector in my theater room I dont even use it much so theres no way that projector should be doing this Ive tried to reach out to Vava I get no response could you please help me if they would just replace it or refund what I paid for itInitial Complaint

Placed a phone call to the business for help with a baby monitor that will no longer connect. Bought in Aug 2024. *** mentioned that the monitor is out of warranty but he will grant a one time courtesy replacement. Emailed for the replacement and they are saying they cannot grant the replacement anymore. I had 2 phone calls where they said they would honor a replacement and they wont!Initial Complaint

Purchased a Dash Cam (Vava Dual Dash Cam, 2K Front and 1080p Cabin or 2K 30fps Single Front). The suction cup melted on the front windshield. Never mind the sticky streak that it left - I contacted the company to see if I can receive a replacement or even purchase one, to no reply. The dash cam is now useless. I purchased the VAVA 5-inch baby monitor parent unit in March of 2023. There was a 12-month warranty. In April of 2024, right after the warranty expired, the product stopped charging and is practically unusable now. When I reached out to customer service, they said there is nothing they can do. The second response I got from them was almost nonsensical; I'm not sure how they're actually replying to these concerns. Given the expensive price point of this product, getting only one year of use is completely unacceptable. The timing of the issue is also suspicious, as it appears the charging port commonly has issues around the *****th month ***** We are asking that the monitor be replaced (the camera still works, so only the monitor is needed). The monitor value is $119. We are not asking for the entire system ($279 value) to be replaced.Business Response

We got the Vava baby monitor and it died on us within 10 months. Trying to communicate to get a replacement since its covered in warranty has been a pain. As a first time parent, we rely heavily on the monitor to make sure our baby is safe while sleeping. Weve been without a monitor for over 3 weeks trying to get this situation resolved. This product never worked from day one. On day contract customers support we did all resets reboot problem still not fixed.I was told by the representative that the app thats supports the product was having problems.Also was told they didnt want to give any false hope of when it may be fixed.So stated they sent me a return label and refund my purchase price.But have only received email telling me to do what the live agent had already did.Email after Email.Still no return label.I red on there website you only have 30 days to return. We originally received our first monitor as a gift before our son was born in April 2023. In November of 2023 our monitor completely stopped charging. After two weeks they finally sent ** a replacement monitor directly from VAVA. Fast forward to last week March 19 2024, our monitor caught on fire where it plugs in. Thankfully I was home and caught it before it caused a house fire. I have been emailing with VAVA with zero progress, every email says they didnt receive the pictures or some other automated email. They truly have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I would not recommend them EVER purely on the customer service! Theres no urgency to make this right.Initial Complaint

Baby monitor stopped charging on 3/4/24, I reached out to the company and started the replacement approval process. I was approved for a replacement, but was then informed by the company that the monitor is out of stock and I have to wait several weeks before a replacement would be back in stock. This monitor is less than 3 months old and covered under warranty. Due to safety concerns, I asked for a refund instead so I could purchase a new monitor. Company is refusing since I was outside of the 30 day refund window and my only option is to wait and hope the monitor comes back in stock.Initial Complaint

Our baby monitor, a product from Vava, stopped charging properly on Feb. 10, less than one year after the monitor was purchased. The monitor is under warranty, but after two weeks of email correspondence with Vava, and endless documentation provided, the company has failed to provide a new monitor. This is impacting our ability to keep our baby safe.
