    Similar to other users, Ive been received unwanted magazines. Upon attempting to cancel via the publisher, I was informed this company/********* were the entity(ies) responsible for creating the subscription and I must contact them to cancel. There is no way to cancel online and the company(ies) do not answer their phone during their published business hours.

    I have been spammed by Elle magazines that I never ever ordered (I'm a man and have no interest in female fashion magazine). When I finally decided to put a stop to it, Elle's website said that the order was placed by SUBCO and that I would need to contact them. How can this be legal? This is a borderline identity theft. They have no right to use my personal info to place an order under my name and to my address. I hope someone will organize a class action lawsuit.

    I have been receiving ESQUIRE magazines that I did not want, ordered, or purchased. I called ESQUIRE and I was told told to call 1-800-…-**** for cancellation. Which led me to this site and company SUBCO. This is embarrassing, shameful, scam, there are no words to describe this type of actions. Please stop sending me this worthless stuff and stop wasting our precious time.

    Let me add one more to the " magazine I did not order" list. A magazine came to my address where I have lived for nearly 30 years. It was addressed to someone I do not know and who has never lived here. It was a weird name I could not even find in a Google search. I contacted the magazine and they refered me to Subco. I'm not wasting any more time after reading these reviews. I'm not paying for this magazine if I am billed because I did not order it. This is a shady way to do business.

    I'd been trying to cancel a subscription to BHG for months my mother had. I contacted BHG and was told it they would cancel it in Sept 2022. Magazines kept coming. Finally in March 2023 was given the name of Subco to contact to see if the subscription had been through them.
    Marlon Farris from Subco responded to my email and explained in detail that they were a magazine clearing house, do not initiate subscriptions or handle any billing and that the magazine was being sent as a Special Offer (for free) from another company hoping my mother would subscribe.
    They were however able to cancel the subscription and also contacted the sales agency that the subscription was through to let them know the magazine was no longer wanted.
    It was very frustrating to continue receiving the magazine when we thought it was cancelled in 2022. Marlon responded to my email promptly which was much appreciated.
    I look forward to NOT seeing the magazine in my mailbox.

    I also received a magazine that I did not order. Luckily I was able to cancel the delivery from the magazines home base but I cannot reach Subco either to find out if I am going to be billed. I will keep trying but very frustrated!

    Got another ELLE magazine that I never ordered or wanted. Really, I’m a guy, I don’t care about that garbage. Tried to cancel this subscription on the ELLE website and was told I had to go to SUBCO because they ordered it for me. Don’t want it, don’t need it, ABSLOUTLEY WILL NOT PAY FOR IT. Only way to cancel this fraudulent subscription is to call or email. Not gonna sit on hold forever for something I did not order or want. Have no idea how they got my information. I don’t have any subscriptions nor do I use any social media. This is obviously a part of their business model from most of the reviews on BBB website. As others have said this is FRAUD! I have requested that they purge my name and address from their databases, and they are not permitted to sell rent or otherwise use any of my information for any purpose, business or otherwise, with or without compensation. Regardless of how this turns out I will be filing complaints with the Utah Division of Consumer protection, Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection, and the California Department of Consumer Affairs. The BBB should consider this business a fraud as well and rate it as such for deceptive and fraudulent practices. As someone else said I must give it 1 star because that is the only way to get the review to go through. What a waste of my time having to work so hard to get rid of something I didn’t order or want. How many different ways can you say FRAUD! This is exactly how Identity Theft starts!

    i selected 1 star only cause the review would not process without.....I've been billed since 2020 88.00 per year for BHG subscription that I NEVER authorized, I was receiving 2 BHG magazines one in my name and another in my duaghters name? 2 of the same magazines being sent to the same mailing address, REALLY?? THIS IS FRAUD! I would like to know how, when, where you got my information from including my bank card # WITHOUT my authorization.
