Based on my description of the problem with my Canon G9 camera I received an estimate of $132 for repair. In good faith and expecting the work to be done I sent the camera. I was told after the camera was received that it would cost $204. I sent a checxk.When the camera was returned it was found to still have the same problem(s) that it had to begin with.On complaining that the camera had not been repaired I was told to return it and it would be repaired. The company supplied *** prepaid shipment. Camera was returned. After several status inquiries I was told that a part needed to repair my camera was not on hand and would be ordered from *****. On one recent status request I was told that the camera was being tested and would be sent the next day. That was approximately 2 weeks ago.Since then calls to find out the status NOW get excuses like "unable to take my call due to high call volume or no answer. I should have bought a replacement used camera on ***** They are available and at least the same or cheaper price. And I'd have been less frustrated and out of time and money.Initial Complaint

I requested a quote for camera repair in early January 2024 and I was provided a competitive quote in short order. I went head and followed the instruction on in the email to proceed with the repair and even overnighted the camera to them. I then did not hear anything from the company. I reached out two days later, and they came back with an additional quote which was double the original quote for the same repair. At this point they had my camera and I felt it was best to proceed and not start the process over with another company. I waited 10 business days to reach out again and I have not received any response from them. My concern is I sent them an expensive camera and they seem to have vanished from any communication with me.Initial Complaint

I got an estimate for $142.00 to repair my Nikon Coolpix camera by replacing the "power PCB, cleaning of the sensor and the inside as well as realigning and recalibrating" on the 25th of October 2023. I was assigned an order number CR27362 and mailed it a couple of days later. I was then sent a request of $244.00 on the 17th of November 2023. I sent a check for that amount on the 19 November 2023 and they received it on 25 November 2023. I have subsequently seen that they have changed my order number to CR27366 on 16 November 2023. They have repeatedly mistaken my camera for a **** and a Canon and now that it has been three months and they keep saying that the parts have been back ordered. They wont answer their phone anymore and are not replying to my most recent e-mails. I have asked for my $244.00 and my camera back and they haven't replied in the last week to those requests. The serial number on my ******************** is ******** and I am now wondering if they have lost my camera. I have dozens of e-mails though I don't have the time right now to print all of those and attach them.Customer Answer

Hello,
I noticed on my account for this complaint, that there is no date of complaint, problem occurred, model, or product/service noted. In that order, I made this complaint 30 January ****, the problem has occurred over the last 3 months since 25 October 2023, the model of camera is a Nikon Coolpix W300, and the service was repair.

I received an estimate for a camera repair for approximately $140. I sent in my camera for repair on August 15, 2023. I did not hear back for several months. When I reached out via email, they told me the new price was now $304.26 and I was unable to pay that right away. I paid on November 29th and got confirmation that they received the payment. They claimed it would take 5-7 business days to complete the repairs. After one month, I reached out again to enquire as to why I hadnt seen my camera yet. They said the parts they ordered were on back order and the new eta was 1/8/2024. A few days ago, I reached out again and informed them I no longer wanted to do business with them and I would like my camera back and a full refund for my payment. They informed me that the new eta was 2/8/2024. I told them I wanted my camera back now I was no longer doing business with them again. They have ignored me and wont reply to emails or answer the phone. I have missed out on multiple jobs in photography because of their mishandling and miscommunications. I have emails between the business and myself and record of all the times I have tried to call them without pickup or response.Initial Complaint

Sent video camera for repair. Was quoted $234 to repair. Sent money and upon receiving it they said my camera was being shipped. I had sent my camera in to be repaired and they sent it back to me broken with the same issue. I let them know and they told me to send it back in so that they could take another look, and when they sent it back to me for a second time, it was still broken with the same issues I have since emailed them and asked for a refund and have heard nothing back.Initial Complaint

on 2/13/23 our video camera was delivered to this business. constantly changing eta on parts. on 6/27/13 i received an email saying they could not get parts and would be returning the camera. there is a online form that needs to be filled out in order to get a status update on your repair. i must have filled it out a dozen times with no reply. the last one i filled out was on 8/5/23 with no answer. i just filled it out again on 9/8/23 still with no answer. i called twice and was hung up on. i just want my camera back. if they lost it, own up and send a replacement or the equivalent of what it is worth. this business is c*** order # CR24161 **** PXW-Z100 serial # *******. its been 7 months without my camera and without using it for work.Initial Complaint

Camera Repair Center,***************************************************************** ***** has had my camera since Aug 26, 2022 and I have paid $224.26 on Sept 12, 2022. It was not working properly when they turned the camera to me, and so I sent it back to you on Oct 17, 2022 at their request for further repair. Eight months have passed. Since it appears that they can't or won't fix the camera, I have asked them to return it to me along with my $224.26 payment. So I sent my camera to this company to get fixed over a year ago. They updated me that my service was completed last may and I payed over $200. They never sent me my camera back and Ive asked them multiple times if I can get an update. At first they were responding to my emails right away but then all of a sudden they stopped replying. Every time I would call, they say they have to talk to support or they sound confused. They even told me that it should arrive in 7 business days but I still never got it. The last time I talked to them was a few weeks ago. I tried calling the other day and it didnt go through. This was a canon rebel t6i camera. Its not cheap and I used it for my photography. I can provide screenshots of our emails and what I paid. I would appreciate my camera back but if for some reason they cant give it to me, Id like a refund and more for the cost of my camera plus the length it took to get back to me.
