  While the staff are very friendly and helpful, watch out for massive increases in your monthly rental fees. I just received a notice my locker is increasing by $64! It's total highway robbery and an abusive. Will be moving out.

  Today I spoke to the manager to give notice of moving out and requesting a prorate fee. I explained to her, I would vacate no later than the end of the week or earlier if possible. She informed me, I had to pay for the month regardless of when I moved. I have two units for a total of $682.00 monthly. I had no where to live but to move in with a relative. My cousin allowed !e to pay two hundred a month in order to be able to pay the storage fee, which almost doubled from when I first started with them.For six years I have saved and borrowed to get enough money to get an apartment and retrieve my furniture, and now these vultures want more. If anyone reads this , please DO NOT use public storage.

  My name is ***************************** an I recent visited one your centers an spoke with the tenant that was on duty I found her customer service an knowledge very help full an was able to answer all my questions an went out of her way as to help with my needs .an feel she was a very good asset to your company an was very polite an I felt as I was family as well.i will be renting a unit from you as they are very roomy an clean ty *****

  I rent this storage unit at **************************************************************************, in 2020.Only three or four times visited during the two years period. The first week of January I was there to put some boxes. When I open the door of my unit I saw a water leak from the ceiling. Informed the staff, and they suggested to claim insurance. Also offered me another unit but not on the same floor. At that time only one elevator was working, so moving stuff to another floor is not easy for me. Again I thought that this unit is not safe so agreed to move to another unit. But asked to pay $ ***** as due. I asked for the details because I already paid $ ****** for the month of January. She did not know what the balance is but I found out that is pro-rated for insurance premiums. I asked her to make it zero then I will sign. She was not able to do the adjustment but told me that they will take care of it within a couple of days. I did not agree and told her that I dont trust this company. That day I called their cooperate office and logged a complaint against this employee ( ****** ).My next visit to the storage unit was on the 30th of January around 10 am. My unit has a different lock. Went to the front desk the same employee walk with me to the unit with her key and opened the door. It was a mess. Then she told me that someone entered the building after hours and broken into my unit. As per the staff, a thief entered only the 5th & 6th floors. My unit (656) is quite far from the elevator. I strongly believe this is an internal operation.****** was telling me "Claim the insurance, it is easy" on both occasions. It is easy for her to tell that as a 'parrot' but claiming process is not that simple & easy.Every time I go to my bathroom I see this building across the street thru my window. Until the 30th it was a pleasant site but now no more. My sincere wish is to see this building destroyed by fire in my lifetime.For that, I curse this Bloodsucking company every day.

  public storage on **********, *******,**. what a rip off. A year ago I started off paying ****** within months they raised the price to ******, just got a message raising price to ******. what h*** is going on. dont go to them

  This business has unfair and unethical practices. They will advertise and bring you in at a low rate. You must sign their contract stating they can raise your rent whenever they choose. Everyone expects a periodic and "fair" rate increase. This company, however, raised my rental rate over 76% in 9 months. The only explanation they give is "It is legal." BEWARE OF DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH PUBLIC STORAGE. Go to ANY other storage facility and you will be treated better than Public Storage!

  Failure to provided gated storage facility at there second location. Several complaints concerning the gate were dismissed by management and staff causing our property to be broken into multiple times. Several police reports were made. Management and staff were unreasonable and failed to make any attempt to correct or refund the services not provided.

  Total bait and switch operation. I went in march to move in my belongings. I got the 1st month for a dollar promotion. When I went in to pay for the unit they charged me full price plus the admin fee and explained to me that there would be a prorated cost that I would have to pay. When I asked for the promotion that was advertised online when I made my reservation. The rep let me know that it would reflect on my next months bill and I would only have to pay $1. This doesnt reflect on my billing statement now. I called customer service and they basically dismissed my problem. Unfortunately the cost of renting a truck and moving my stuff out weights the cost of just paying for the unit. This is unacceptable business practice and there seems to be no accountability.

  I put some items in a storage space where I had minimal issues in doing so. When I returned to put more things in the storage there was a mob of people threatening me at the entrance to the storage rental. I felt unsafe. I then wanted to take all of my things out of the storage space. Though, I felt too unsafe to do so, The staff was helping the mob do so by walking around watching everything that I did and ignoring there threats. My items are trapped at this public storage.

  My brand new work trailer was broken into. My generator was stolen. They offered pretty much no help . I filed a police report & insurance claim. The lady at Public Storage told me , she didn't have time to review the security cameras! When I tried to reach them again by going to the office it stated they were open but they were no where to be found. I called the number & no answer. I left a message & no return call. The hours at this place for public access are inconvenient. I've asked before for extended hours due to work & they wouldn't approve.
