I have a plug in floodlight cam pro and it wont connect to any account and it also wont let me create my own account. I was told that I can use this camera on its own which is why I bought it. I have a mailbox sensor, a floodlight camera, and a solar yard sign. These need replacements I have gone through the troubleshooting process and it has been determined that they need to be replaced. It has taken over 14 days and they are refusing to process it even though a supervisor said so. They have lied to me many times.Business Response

Ring will not release or verify if someone was in my home when my door was wide open upon returning home. I called ring to see if it was a glitch on why I couldnt see the video even after having to call the police to clear my home. The manager Faith told me since I upgraded my service from the 4.99 plan to the 9.99 plan I will not be able to see any videos prior to the change. Now I have to file a police report to get permission to get the videos to see what happened. Ring should be about safely not about recording TikTok viral moments or people stealing packages. Hello, I have 9 ring cameras between my properties and for the past 5 months I cant get my 1 camera connected . Multiple resets have been done and still nothing. First of all, ************************** customer service is terrible. The chat service is un-staffed and there is no email for customer support, and this is unforgivable for a billion dollar home security company wheres ones life is on the line. Same goes for its 1800 telephone number which also goes unanswered, staffed by a tape recorded annoying voice that can never hear you. Finally, our main complaint/question is: Why does our Driveway light constant turn on, and stay on, at random times throughout the night? This is also costing us a ton of money in electric charges.Business Response

I am filing this formal complaint against Ring regarding their unacceptable failure to provide replacement keys for their Tamper Proof cases, which has rendered my security system completely non-functional.ISSUE SUMMARY:I invested in Ring cameras and their official Tamper Proof cases for critical security locations at my residence. The inadequately designed plastic keys provided with these cases have broken, leaving me with NO means to access my cameras to replace batteries. This design failure has effectively bricked expensive security equipment that I purchased in good faith.FAILED RESOLUTION ATTEMPTS:1. First contact: Ring promised replacement keys within two weeks. No keys were delivered. No explanation was provided. No follow-up occurred.2. Second contact: Ring committed to delivery by the 24th. Again, no keys arrived. No communication explaining this second failure was provided.ONGOING FINANCIAL HARM:Throughout this period of equipment failure, Ring has continued to charge me for ***************************************** services that are IMPOSSIBLE to utilize without functioning cameras. This constitutes charging for services that Ring knows cannot be delivered, which may violate consumer protection laws in my jurisdiction.Ring's failure to resolve this issue demonstrates a disturbing pattern of:- Selling products with known design defects - Abandoning support for previously sold products - Charging for services they know cannot be utilized - Making commitments to customers they have no intention of fulfilling DEMANDED RESOLUTION:1. IMMEDIATE delivery of replacement keys within 3-5 business days 2. Ring allowed an unknown person to change my email address without notifying me either by email or phone number after we specifically asked them to transfer the devices to my husbands name and email address. We have purchased multiple Ring products and all stop working after a few years. We also subscribe to the pro plan. We now have another doorbell cam and floodlight that are broken. I called Ring and was told they are out of warranty. Warranty only lasts 1 year. That is absurd. It shows they dont stand behind the quality of their products. They checked to see if I had a pro plan for the extended warranty. She said we had a failed monthly payment 3 years ago because of a card on file that was expired. We updated the new card as soon as notification was sent and she said that because of that the extended warranty is expired. I have never heard of such a thing. Back in the day, ring was the only product like this offered. If they dont honor the warranty we will replace all of our products with a competitor. Really bad customer service!Business Response

I cancelled my subscription in 2022 when I moved into my new house. Ring continued to charge me the yearly subscription fee for 2023 and 2024. I called customer service and they agreed to pay me my full amount for those years ($89.98). Instead of the full refund, I received two refunds totalling $49.99. I want the rest of my money refunded. 02, 15, 2025 Purchased new Ring Doorbell cameras, old ones from 2019 where defective. Installed them and started setting up in computer and phone, could not do it.
