    I placed an order for a Ring dashboard cam today (3/17/23) and realized during the order confirmation process that I would not receive the product until sometime in May. I do not want to wait that long for the order to arrive, so I called Ring's 800 number to cancel the order.A representative answered my call. I explained the situation to him and asked him to cancel the order. He told me it was too late to cancel the order. I asked him for the reason, since I wouldn't receive the order until May - 2 months from now and I had just placed the order a few hours ago. He just said it was too late - refusing any further help.I asked him for the name/number/email for a manager in ***************** He said that ********************** doesn't have that - really hard for me to believe! So, I then asked him about canceling the AmazonPay payment and again he said he had no control over that, but that I should call ******************* to get some resolution in very condescending manner.Overall, customer service rep's ******** was rude, demeaning and kept cutting me off when I tried to make a statement. I would never treat a customer in this manner and did not expect to receive this lack of customer service and willingness to help. I've been a Ring customer for many ****************************, you can definitely do better than this!

    Recently ring promoted their cam and promised to pre ordered items will be delivered in Feb and now they have taken the money out my account and im paying interested on and so far no proper updates from them on when it will be delivered. Upon calling the support they told me orders after Jan 21 will be delivered in July 2023. Seriously ring should return customers money and deduct only when product is shipped

    I’ve been happy with the Ring products and monitoring but my issue is with their “return process”. Spent 49 minutes on the phone working on a product cancellation and return. Returns are EXTREMELY difficult and multiple departments involved. After finally thinking my issue was resolved, I never received my return label after 3 days when I was told it takes 24 hours. (I checked my junk/spam folders to ensure I hadn’t received).
    I went online since I didn’t want to spend another 49 minutes on the phone only to be told I’d receive another label within 72 hours. Ridiculous that it takes that long to receive a label which I should have received the first time. Worst return process I have EVER experienced. Although I receive a discount through their website, I will probably never purchase on the Ring website again, I’d rather spend a little more if I need a new product from a local store that sells their products. RING needs to fix their customer service returns!

    In November, I sent two packages to your company. They were BOTH supposed to be the returned ring camera's, however, one of them was accidentally something else. What I accidentally had shipped to you was a "Automatic Sealless Combo Strapping Tool" with the word "LOANER" written on it in white marker.

    This tool cost my company $***** and I need to get it back.

    I spoke with someone in the customer support department named, ******, who said he would help me with this.

    It's been quite some time and I believe they lost my tool.

    I am still waiting on information.

    Please get back to me as soon as possible. I have the other ring camera and am going to return it but am waiting on my loaner tool back.

    My Ring Doorbell Pro 2 died just after the manufacturer warranty expired. In total it cost me 3 electrician visits: 1 to install, and after it stopped working, 2 different electricians to figure out that it was not the transformer or the chime, that the unit was just plain dead. Ring's Tech Support was helpful in helping me test separately and confirm that the doorbell itself is dead. They also confirmed that it is out of warranty even though I paid $30 for Ring's annual protection plan. I was offered a 35% discount on a replacement of a $*** item.
    While the bell was working it would often lose connection to the internet, so I would not have said it was fully reliable on it's best day. The bell is also not very loud, but I did not want to pay for any further upgrades. Given these issues and the it is $*** to replace, I am opting to take my electrician's advice and buy **** instead. I consider my purchase of Ring to have been a big waste of money.

    Ring has been monitoring my home for over 3 years, over that time the options and accessories have grown, as well as improved. During my first installation I found the customer service team helpful and understanding as I worked through the technical issues. I have 7 doors, 12 windows, and 8 cameras, and 5 fire alarms, along with 6 leak detectors currently operating. I have never had any issues with any of them, except for the occasional software update or battery replacement. Over the past three years I have learned to research carefully when purchasing new accessories, there are plenty of discounts out there if you know what you're looking for. I could not be happier with my investment. After being stuck in an ADT contract for a year, I understand the freedom of being able to change or add functions at will. To those thinking about purchasing a Ring system, if you are not technically incline, or know someone that can help you through problems, you should probably steer clear of a self-installation home alarm system.

    DO NOT BUY RING CAMERAS! My ring spot light camera broke, was under warranty. I called their broken English customer support and told they were sending a replacement. Two months later, multiple calls, chats, I keep getting lied to by multiple agents. I now have been told, after receiving replacement emails and shipping info, the item is no longer in stock. I was given a $10 credit to cover my monitoring for next year. BUT....when you go to their website to order a new one, it shows available. I questioned multiple agents regarding why the website shows available and they told me, "any one can order but the item won't be shipped to them". THATS FRAUD. You can't take someone's money, not knowing when the item is going to be in stock. I have spoken with multiple managers, with no resolutions. DO NOT BUY RING!

    I purchased A stickup wireless camera bundle of two, one camera didn't work. After a lengthy troubleshooting process, it was found to be defective, and another was sent to me. This camera was also defective and upon further investigation i found they had sent me a refurbished camera not a new one to replace the camera i had just bought. It then took me over an hour and a half to go through the return process.

    Purchased 2 cameras from their website. website never stated it was out of stock. Called them 2 weeks later as the order was still "processing" and was informed by their customer service that it was out of stock and on back order. I asked for a cancelation and refund. After a lengthily conversation with their support team, they said that I should receive a refund within 5-7 business days and an email or the refund/cancellation. I received only a 20% off discount code. A week later I call them asking why my order is still "processing" and asked for a paper trail of said cancelation because the order in question on my end still shows no change. after asking to speak with a supervisor since the person I was talking to could not cancel the order as it was the shipping departments responsibility. I hung up and called my bank. The kicker, after I hung up with ring I got an email stating refund received. Turns out RING CHARGED MY ACCOUNT AGAIN WITHOUT CONSENT and refunded it right away as a different sub dollar amount to send me a refund Email without actually refunding my money!!! So I called my bank again to confirm this AND dispute the original transaction.

    AMAZON OWNS RING.
    They use a customer support team that does everything they can to delay and keep your money. They Charged me WITHOUT my consent to Trick me into thinking I got a refund.

    I only want to inform other possible customers of the risk they take when attempting to do business with any company that at will, *** charge your account to trick you into thinking you get a refund. I want nothing to do with any EXECTUTIVE RESOLITIONS . If you refunded our money, or took our original issues seriously, there would be no need for an Executive resolution team. The bak is taking care of this issue now.

    I bought the 3-Pack Stick Up Cam with Solar bundle for $414.99. During my research, I found that you can buy a 3-Pack Stick Up Cam for $209.97 and three separate solar panels for $39.99 each. That means without tax included buying separately costs $329.94 vs. $414.99 for the bundle. I called Ring, and the representative was how to put it disengaged about everything after explaining my findings to her. After 30 minutes of back and forth, I asked if she could transfer me to a different representative, as her attitude seemed as if she did not want to deal with the situation. She asked, "who do you want to be transferred to ?" I said, "anyone." She said, "I need a name to transfer you to someone else." I said, "fine, place me back in the queue or transfer me to your manager." She said, "You would need to hang up and call back to get in the queue." After a pause of two minutes, She said she had just sent me a link to send a screenshot of my Proof of Purchase. I asked her why when I gave her the order number, and it was placed three days ago. She said to prove you bought it. So I took a snapshot and uploaded it then she put me on hold to talk to billing. She returns and says sorry. You need to refund everything and reorder to get the $85.05. I asked why and she said it was a bundle. I said that it made no sense returns were free, and I had just got the order. Can you credit me the amount to my Ring account? Then she went over what I needed to do again to get $85.05 refunded, and she placed me on hold for 10 minutes, which was 41 minutes into the call. Then I got "disconnected." I called back. Lo and behold, after another 5 minutes of "Checking into the other reps' notes," I was credited $85.05 to my credit card. Last night I put everything in the box and debated whether I should return everything and go with SimpliSafe. This interaction was the first time I EVER dealt with Ring. How do I know that the paid monitoring will also not be like this?
