    I placed my order yesterday, received the order confirmation and payment confirmation emails immediately. Today I logged into my Ring account to see the order status under "Order History". My order wasn't there. I tried online chat support thinking this would be an easy fix. I clearly stated that I could not see my order under my order history. I then had to play 20-questions with the person that asked silly things like, "Did you use a different email for the order? Have you tried a different browser?" Next they said I will receive a shipping confirmation once it ships. I didn't ask for when my order would ship, I wanted to know why my order wasn't listed under my order history. It was like listening to a broken record. At one point the representative asked me what page I was looking at! I LITERALLY STATED I COULD NOT SEE MY ORDER UNDER MY ORDER HISTORY. After the terrible chat, I ended it and decided to call customer support. My nightmare from online chat support repeated itself, but over the phone this time. At one point someone must have figured out the problem was on their end because suddenly the order appeared under my order ********** second issue is the ambiguous generation information for the products on their online store. There are several products on the website that have different product generations. Many parts and accessories have notes stating what generation they are compatible with. Guess what they don't tell you. They don't tell you what generation the products belong to (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)! There are several products where they say, "This is now known as ", but they don't say what generation the product belongs to. I had to look on Reddit to get the right product generation info so I could order the right devices and accessories.First time customer. I only placed my order yesterday and I'm already regretting the decision to use Ring even though my order hasn't shipped yet!

    This company is horrible. I have 6 Ring cameras and a paid plan. Yet after adding more cameras to my account they have decided to bug me about upgrading my account every single time I open the app. This effectively cripples the effectiveness of the account. Even weeks later I still have to dismiss the notice EVERY SINGLE TIME. I contacted customer service but was told there was no way to change this behavior. So essentially I am being punished for buying more of their products? Unbelievable! What a *************.

    Overall I think the Ring service is not bac for the money and convenience. My issue has been with the Ring App and it's customer service. The App is just horrible! I have a new phone (upgraded) top tier internet service, and yet I still have missed, late notifications. The app only counts up to 22, after that it just stops notifying you. Then there's customer service (or the lack of) It's never Ring's fault....your internet *****....your phone *****. And lastly, the ads that pop up during notifications! I had 3 of my front cameras go off at the same time, but I couldn't see what was happening because Ring has decided to use those moments to try and sell you more freaking cameras!

    After selling our home in August of 23, we canceled our account with ring. In December of 23 we were charged for the service for another year. Contacting them, we were refunded the full amount. Again in December 24, another charge for $99.99. Contacting them again we were assured the account would be closed and a refund would be automatic. The problem was, they only refunded $91.67. Therefore causing a late charge from the credit card company. We feel as though their accounting department needs to be better supervised and be held accountable. Oh, their products are above average.

    They shipped an out of stock item (camera minus the faceplate) because the faceplate was out of stock instead of just listing the camera as out of stock. Only offer was to wait indefinitely for it to come back into stock or take a downgrade and eat the difference. ****** customer service and lacking any quality control.

    Ring automatically updated my camera software 2 MONTHS ago. The new version is not compatible with my *********************** Router and stopped communication. I have spent HOURS on the phone with ring trying to resolve the problem and even had *********************** out to my residence TWICE.RING CONFIRMED a compatibility problem with my router.I asked to talk to a supervisor and was DISCONNECTED.I want the problem fixed or a TOTAL REFUND.

    I have spent the last month working with Ring on trouble shooting my doorbell. On October 10th I called customer service and asked for assistance. They tried to help me - I was able to pull the doorbell away enough to press the orange button, but it still did not work. Since I didnt have the screwdriver to take the unit off the wall the said that they would send me a replacement screwdriver. They never sent ***** I finally ordered one off the internet. I called them today - and after hours with customer service, and my internet provider - it became apparent that I had a bad doorbell.On October 10th my doorbell was under warranty - they said today it is not under warranty!!!!They will not replace my doorbell - even though they have a paper trail leading back to October 10th which was clearly within the warranty period!!!If I could rate them a zero star - I would. This is the first time in my life I ever wrote a review on the Better Business Bureau.I couldnt be more frustrated with Ring!!

    Absolute garbage and their customer service is somehow even worse than their cameras. Great when they work. Unfortunately, you need to have EVERY wireless camera no more than about 15 feet from your router or the additional devices you will have to buy to actually get a signal to these cameras. That being said, you will still get poor signal even with every camera very close to a WiFi signal. 1 of my cameras right now is literally just on the other side of the wall, less than 8 feet away, and getting poor signal and cutting out. Their customer service says insists that it's my WiFi despite having great signal on everything else in the house and passing the WiFi speed tests with flying colors. I wish they had a physical store so I could take this trash back to them and tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine.

    Ring is unethical and takes important features (Modes) away from people that have paid yearly upfront to use said features. They take them away and try to force you into upgrading your plan to access the feature you already paid for on the previous plans. Customer support is a total joke as well, they repeat the same thing over and over. AVOID THIS COMPANY, THEY HAVE TOTAL DISREGARD FOR YOU AS A CUSTOMER.

    I have been a RING user since ****** weeks ago I was promised a replacement under my warranty. I have called multiple times after being promised a 3 day delivery and when I call back they say it's "not in stock". WAIT, WHAT?? That is NOT true!! ****** has plenty in stock. PLUS, I can choose 10 of my camera style (replacement) put them in my cart and get to check out and all of them will be shipped in 3 days! Every *** I deal with lies to me when I call, "I'm sorry they seem to be Out of Stock" is their go phrase. It's like they have been conditioned to put the customer off. Then I ask to speak with a MOD/Supervisor and they apologize and assure me that this time they will ship with a 3 day delivery. IT NEVER HAPPENS !! And No-one updates me with an email or a phone call telling me it won't happen. I have to call for the update and ask --- "Why am I being lied to over and over, that you will send my replacement and you don't I can't tell you I will send a payment nd I don't!" They always apologize profusely but nothing comes from their promise to send my replacement camera!I do not and CANNOT recommend RING camera because of the constant lying (Out of Stock) and promises (you'll have your camera in 3 days) they DO NOT stand behind their word even when you pay for warranty in Ring Plus yearly subscription!
