    Subject: Complaint Regarding Order and **************** Experience with ********************** I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent experience with Ring, as I am currently on the phone waiting for their customer service to address my issue. On September 5, 2024, I placed an order for a Ring Doorbell, and as of today, I have yet to receive the product.I have contacted Rings customer service three times, spending a total of three hours trying to resolve this issue. During my most recent call, I was informed that I allegedly refused the order. They stated that they must wait for the item to be returned by *** before taking any further action. Despite my persistent efforts, they have refused to issue a refund or send a ************** a long-time customer with several ********************** devices, I am extremely frustrated by the lack of resolution and the poor customer service. Each call lasts at least an hour, and I continue to receive the same unhelpful responses that fail to address my concerns. Ring should be held accountable for the time I have wasted trying to resolve this matter and should expedite either my order or my ********* present, I have been on this call for 26 minutes and 5 seconds, with the attendant putting me on hold for the past ************************************* replacement.I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

    Ring took away a feature all of us needed and used that was there to disarm the cameras and to stop notifications. They now want to force charge you double what it costed to get the feature back. Total scam.

    I have a similar complaint. I purchased their indoor security camera with the ************* Package only to find out this last week that they have taken away any and all ability to turn the camera on/off. This ability is basic and a normal function of about any product made by anyone. This violates my 'Right to Privacy' and I will be following up with the **** DA, and Ag to see what can be done but that will be just a merry-go-round of fingerpointing as none of them wants to help the individual customer.A customer could EASILY be charged with all kinds of violations should information about your camera become discovered. Things like Child *********** and a multitude of other ********* is common for a company to charge you for a higher level of features but the turn your product on and off is the MOST basic thing you could ask for. When you are forced to leave your camera on, anyone could find cause to file against you for privacy Rights issues and the customer shouldn't bear the responsibility for such.

    I renewed my Yearly Ring Plan for 3 devices last month (September 2024) and now I'm told by a Ring Customer Representative that many important services (mode, etc.) provided under my pre-paid Basic plan have been taken away. The Ring representative said I could cancel my current pre-paid contract and start a new plan contract for MORE MONEY and cover my ALL my devices at with similar services, but this is unfair! It's similar to buying a fast food combo meal for a burger, fries and a Coke, paying for it and then being given only the burger and the Coke.I'm sure other Ring customers feel the way I do and I will search for other avenues to voice may concerns. I would like Ring to honor the contracted yearly plan I paid for last month and restore the level of services Ring said would be available when I renewed my Yearly Ring Plan.

    We have 2 cameras at a beach house and 1 camera at our primary home. We've had the basic plan for 6 months but today suddenly our modes have disappeared from our dashboard. We called customer service and was told in order to get our modes back we have to subscribe to the premium plan which is double the amount. What choice did we have? So we upgraded and now at the beach property we only have 1 mode choice for both cameras. When we disarm from the app it doesn't give us a choice of which camera to disarm. It just disarms both at the same time. Before this change we were able to disarm them separately. Called them back and they tell us they don't have that feature. ***?? So now we're paying twice as much for less features.

    Works fine, but Ring plans are nothing but greed. This fall they raised the plan price by a huge amount. Then, on the basic plan they removed the mode buttons, and now want you to pay an extra $10 a month for a more expensive plan to get them back. They seem to think since they sold you the hardware, they have you over a barrel and can get what they want. Be warned!

    I'm very upset. I agree & have the same complaint as **** C! Been a Ring customer for about ****. I have the basic protection plan & because of updating their service, I can not access my modes. AND,,,on upon arriving home I noticed my "ring" was turned "on" & I got my notification there was motion detected. I DID NOT TURN MY RING ON! My phone had been totally untouched! This was done w/out my Authorization,,& knowledge!! AND...this the the only way I found out my ring controls had been changed!! So......i will be contacting Legal Authorities to file a Formal complaint! This is a total breach of my privacy in my own home!!! BEWARE PEOPLE! IT WAS TURNED ON WITHOUT ME DOING ANYTHING. I SWEAR MY PHONE WAS UNTOUCHED.

    I have a RING Basic Protect Plan that I have subscribed to for many years. I was able to use Modes to easily arm and disarm my RING doorbell camera. The RING customer service *** told me that ********************** just disabled this feature within the past week for the Basic Protect Plan. The *** said that RING sent an e-mail on August 7th announcing this change, but I never received the e-mail and the *** could not send it to me. I am very frustrated that RING would make a material change to my service during a subscription year without any communication. In addition, RING has increased the cost of its Basic Protect Plan from $30.00 in 2022 to $39.99 in 2023 to $49.99 in 2024, which is a 67% increase over three years.

    They are currently changing their plans. I think most can read between the lines on this. Provide less, charge more. At any rate, I spent the better part of two hours trying to get them to prorate my current plan to the new priced plan. I warn anyone who reads this the home monitoring is now an additional cost. I will be getting less features but paying the same price because of this. Be ware

    I am on a ring plan and i was told i am under extended warranty and that i would get a replacement, however i called after not receiving a shipping label or product and i was told i wouldnt get a replacement because i dont have extended warranty. They lied and refused to provide a free replacement after their ****** .
