    Believe all the stories. My TCL TV that I bought back in 2021 broke down on us and we dont have any extended warranty. Weve had the TV for less than five years and this is the second TCL TV that has broken down on us this year. We have bought a second one less than two years ago and it broke down And we also didnt have extended warranty on it, but I was able to convince the company to reimburse me as it was less than two years since we had purchased it, but they dont want to do the same with our first TV from 2021. Their warranty is only for 1 year and when I said its not normal for tvs to only last less than 5 years, let alone less than 2 and that *** had other brands who have lasted me 10+ years and their response was thats a different brand which theyre right, I just wish I did my research before.

    This Tv was manufactured in 8/2021 I bought it in middle of summer 2022 today is 11/14/24 the tv went completely out Ive tried all troubleshooting from ******* and tcl support this is ridiculous the tv was affordable but so was the ******** I had and used for 15 years before getting this c*** I bought it because **** is already installed on it. The warranty is only good a year I did not get extended warranty because I assumed it would last a lot of years like my Vizio go figure. Now I have to go buy another tv Im so upset. If I decide to get another TCL tv I have to save money because Ill be buying another one in a year smh. The customer service representative didnt offer a coupon towards another one or anything! Im just flabbergasted at this company Im not sure if it is worth repairing with a tv repair person they may charge just as much as the tv was when I bought it. I believe the light just died this morning. TCL gets under one star from me

    Do not I repeat do not buy nothing from TCL. I purchased a 55 inch tv less than a year ago and the screen went completely black. Called company did a troubleshoot and was told to send in a video and other require documents which I did still waiting for response. I am an elderly disabled person and this was the only tv that I had to watch. They dont even deserve 1 star I will be going on ******* and every social media to warn customers there tvs are garbage

    Buyer beware. Purchased a 58 TCL- ******* in June ******* was mfg in January 2023. In Sept 2024 after being away and not using the TV for one month, the each time I turned on the TV it indicated it was not connected to the internet and required an advanced system network connection reset which requires inputting my network password each time I turn on the TV.. . Several calls to **** support did not resolve the issue. Ultimately Roku support said it was a hardware issue (TCL)as opposed to a software issue ( Roku). Two calls to TCL support did not resolve the issue. TCL support after its first failed approach wanted me to perform a Factory reset. This clears all applications and passwords which was something I did not want to chance. They then told me I would have take the TV to a technician at my expense because it was 3 months past the one year warranty.I had my prior TV for 20+ years with Roku streaming without a problem. This is a China owned company who seems to not care for its customers.

    This company is a scam my tv went black after a software update and the company refuse to fix or replace tv stating its out if warranty even though I was told it was still under warranty by the company BJ wholesale that I purchased the tv from. I was then told they would fix it as a courtesy after I sent the required email with the serial number the proof of purchase and a video clip of the issue after all that I get a call stating they will not fix the tv because it's out of warranty. How is it possible for to update software corrupt your product and then refuse to fix it this is a scam company buyers beware

    I purchased a 55" tv less then a year ago. I started a claim with them. It's been over a week and they are claiming I can get a refund that will take 25 to 30 BUSINESS DAYS. I explained to them I will NOT be in the physical address provided because I am relocating.(I don't have an address yet) I paid with a credit card and they refuse to refund it back to my card. This will be the last time I purchase anything from them. They didn't give me a choice. Now I have to wait 2 months to get a full refund.

    Purchased tv for sons room. Registered it the day I bought it even though it was a Christmas gift. Tv worked well until July, then screen went black. Called customer support to trouble shoot. Went thru all steps required to be told need to submit a warranty claim. I submitted all asked for documentation, original receipt with serial number, photo of serial number sticker on tv, short video of issue and I even sent a photo of the sticker on the box clearly showing serial number. I had to submit these 3 times before I got a response. Only to be told since part of the serial number sticker wasnt legible that per the warranty, the product wasnt eligible for warranty coverage. First, last, and only TCL product I will buy.

    Do not buy a TCL product.s. *********** does not honour their warranty. New appliance with 3 year warranty, not repairable. Poor resolution process, limited follow up, stall tactics to delay resolution, sent all required details, no response, no response to follow up emails. Call Center not helpful with resolving. Told me they were sending me a replacement. 13 days later they call me and tell me they wont send me a replacement unless I deface my product serial number sticker and **** it as VOID. Wont email me this request either. Wont transfer call to manager and keeps you the line for no reason (another stall tactic).

    I bought my daughter a 32in tcl for Christmas in December. It crashed in June. Stuck in the home on a update loop that never is successful. No apps on home screen, nothing. I emailed them in June to start a warranty claim, sent them proof of purchase, videos, pictures, then didn't hear anything back for 2 months. They claimed they had the wrong email but had Already been emailing me. I ended up calling them and now they want videos all over again. This should not be happening. If the ** is defective it should be replaced, in my opinion.
