    I bought a 65" TV and it only lasted 2.5 years. The screen went black and no sound. I would not buy their TV.

    I received a 32” TCL Roku tv for a Christmas present in 2022 from my son. In the beginning of February 2023, it stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi. It was passed 30 days of purchase, so the company wouldn’t take it back. I contacted TCL and they said there was something wrong with my internet because the tv gave a 014.30 error code. I did everything they told me to do which included trying to connect with a mobile hotspot, restarted the tv, factory resetting it, etc, several times. I even got a new modem and router. I was told my case would be sent to the warranty section and they would request video of what was on the tv screen. I had already sent in several pictures of every screen they asked for. I called a few days later to get the phone number and the guy REFUSED to give it to me saying we need to go through the steps again to see what’s wrong with the tv. I told him, like the other people I spoke to, the Wi-Fi chip has stopped working. The receipt is gone so I asked the store it was purchased at for a copy of the receipt. They did a system upgrade so it was wiped out. I got a copy from corporate; it doesn’t have the company’s name on it so they won’t accept it. I told them the name of the company and was told they do not show them as a business they sell the tv’s through. One of the people I spoke to tried to make it seem like it was out of warranty. He stated it’s a 1 year warranty, it was purchased in December, then said, January, February, March. Ummm, what? I’d only had it about 3 months at that time. I am frustrated and stressed out by this. I have been given the runaround for 2 1/2 months now. This company sucks and is definitely not customer oriented. I just want the money back so I can get a tv with a different manufacturer.

    I bought my tv 75” and now the screen shows the black screen of death! just wasted 1k tv only does sounds i called them and said to go on file a complaint with the BBB!! Awful service!

    My first TCL 55” television died 6 weeks after I purchased it from Best Buy. They replaced it with same model but 2nd TCL. Died after owning it for 3months, 2 days; hence, Best Buy said I needed to contact TCL. Yep, sent several videos of blank screen but no response. Terrible customer service. Horrible.
    I’ll shout it on the rooftops: DONT PURCHASE THIS TV BRAND!

    Just like every other review below me, another black screen of death! But still have sound!
    Consider this really a ZERO star.
    They provide the worst customer service. I've had my tv for only 3 months and between them and another company this is the worst experience i have ever had. I have been jumping through hoops just to get claim approved. I had to send 5 emails of videos, FIVE!!!! and then they still said it wasn't good enough. How else do you record a tv that only has sound but a black screen? I think I've already proven 5 ways to do it.
    They do not stand behind their products. Their customer service is terrible and has no care or concern.
    I have original screen protector still on tv, it's currently packaged in the original box and I just want reimbursement. Their TV's are horrible and the company is even worse!

    I hate this TV! It always disconnects from my wireless networks even when everything else that’s connected in my home is working fine. On top of that, the remote has to be directly pointed at the perfect angle to the tv in order to work. Don’t even try to point it while lying down.

    Our TCL was 3 years old. It's been mounted on a wall where no one but adults can reach it. It died out of nowhere. Black screen but still had sound. Contacted TCL and after they insisted I take all the reset steps I already tried, told me it was broken and there was nothing they could do. They said 3 years is acceptable life span! I will never buy another TCL again!

    TCL is a complete rip off! I purchased a tv for my son's birthday on 1/21/2022 and on 1/152023, while watching the tv, it all of a sudden went black, but we could still hear the sound. We unplugged the tv and plugged it back in and noticed a small white line in the corner of the tv. At that point, we unplugged the tv and took it back to the Retailer. The retailer instructed us to contact the TCL Warranty. I did so and was told to upload copies of my proof of purchase and a video of the issue. After doing so, I called the next day on 1/17/2023 to insure they received my uploads and the customer service person said they needed a video that was full screen. So, I uploaded another video and after being put on hold for several minutes, she came back on the line and stated they would not be able to cover my tv under their warranty because I had a cracked screen. I ensure her my tv screen wasn't cracked, there was no physical damage done to the tv, and since my tv was still under the manufacturer's warranty, they should send someone out to physically look at it, as what was told to me by the retailer, I purchased the tv from. The customer support person went back and forth with me, refusing to send someone out, stating the tv was physically damaged, and only judging from a video I uploaded. I kept trying to explain that the white line on the video was not a crack on the screen, but something going on inside the tv. She still kept saying the warranty wouldn't cover it. My issue is, being that my tv was still under warranty, I feel as though they should not judge by uploaded amateur video or pictures but should actually come and physically inspect the tv to be sure the issue will be covered or not by the warranty. After looking at the Better Business Bureau reviews about TCL TVs, it seems as though several people have the same issue as myself with their TVs going black and getting runaround with customer service about the warranty. DONT BUY TCL TV

    I purchased my Tv on black Friday 2022 and my Tv stopped working on Wed Dec 28 2022. The screen went black and every fix that TCL told me to do didn't work. They have done nothing but give me the run around for the last week. I unfortunately threw away the box, so I can't take it back to the store. I did purchase the extended warranty, however they can't help me because the manufacturers warranty takes precedence. This has been a total nightmare. I feel like I have been ripped off by TCL, Walmart and the warranty company that I purchased the extended warranty from.

    I bought a 43” tv it broke with in 2years all I get is a black screen. TCL televisions must be straight trash. If you are going to buy one get the extended warranty. But I won’t get another. I googled the problem seems like a issue that happens a lot with tcl tv’s.
