Have a an new engine put in my 2014 KIA ******** in 2018 because of the Recall on the engine. Now having problem with the car. The car was diagnosed that it is a problem with the engine again. There is still recall on the engines and *** will not take the responsibility to fix itBusiness Response

I surrendered a vehicle to ********* finance in January of this year. We have been trying since to get them to pick it up!! The vehicle is on my parents property which they have now donated to the city. The fire department has been waiting now 9 months to do a burn to learn on the property. I just received notice from the county that they have a burn to learn scheduled this Thursday with or without the removal of the vehicle. We have recorded each call for our own protection with **** We took the insurance off the vehicle in January as well. I leased a vehicle 2014-2018, returned car with license plates. At the time it wasnt the law to transfer to another vehicle. Its 2022 and July I started receiving MULTIPLE speeding tickets from *** with that plate. No idea how anyone got it the dealership or what they did with my plate and I am now struggling to get this taken care.The office in ******* arent helpful. Tried contacting manager with no return calls and no one picks up the phone. I was transferred one time to a man named **** he emailed me the lease but missed 6 pages. I emailed back to try to get them and he never responded to me. I am in contact with an attorney to help me with these tickets and police department reported as stolen from the car lot. This time the issue started around manorial day. I took my car in to ******** to look at the *** and ACC system. This is the second time it has been at the shop for the same warnings. They rented me a car and said it was fixed a few days later. We were out of town and and they started charging us for the rental when they could not provid a pick up time. We came back payed for the rental and got our car back. The next day the same lights came on now they have had it for a week and are saying I need to pay for the rental if I get one. I have been a week with out a car and can not afford to rent and pay for a car. So now I dont know what to do.Business Response

I own a Kia ********* 2021. They have a poor history of the windshields cracking (just ****** it). About three weeks ago a rock hit our windshield while driving on the highway and it cracked. This is not a complaint as to whether it should have cracked or not. This is a complaint regarding price gouging. When I called the dealer they said it would be $1,800 to fix it. This is a ludicrous amount to charge knowing that windshields are going to get dinged and need to be fixed. I asked the dealer about third party windshields and they told me they would not warranty any of the drivers assist safety features if it was a third party windshield. This means third party windshields are not an option. I contacted KIA ***** America to give them a chance to make it right and not charge a ludicrous amount of money but they did not get back to me with any type of resolution. I do not have problem paying for a fair amount for the windshield but $1,800 is not acceptable. I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter. Car ********* overnighted them a payoff on my account number ************** and it was received on August 3rd 2022. As of September 19 another check was overnighted. It also has still not been posted. In the meantime i have to keep making payments to avoid being reported to the credit bureau. i called Kia ******* and the agents on the phone were useless.Business Response

I left my 2022 *** ** 6 at ********** in ********* ** at the end of july for an abnormal noise. The tech said I would be given a loaner car to drive while mime was evaluated. I was not informed of the high risk for theft of the vehicle because of the *** challenge on tik tok that requires only a USB cable to start the car and the car was stolen from my home. I do not have theft insurance on my auto policy so my insurance declined claim. Normally my credit card provides theft insurance but because it was a loaner vehicle my cc was not used. After 2 months my vehicle was finally repaired and ready to be picked up but the dealership won't release my vehicle until the damage to the loaner vehicle is paid for (vehicle was recovered by police). I had been assigned a case manager from *** corporate as well because my vehicle (paid in full and titled in my name) as taking so long to repair and had fallen under the lemon law. I presented the circumstances to her and was informed the dealership has theft insurance on their cars and would file a claim for the repairs. I presented this to planet *** but they refused to file a claim under their insurance stating the agreement I signed superseded them filing a claim. I asked for repair costs and was given a quote for approx $7300. This was significantly inflated for ex a steel rim was quoted at >$250 but I could purchase the same rim at advanced auto parts for $80 retail. I asked for a quote at cost to the dealer to repair the vehicle and no response and they are still won't return my vehicle.Business Response

I spoke to corporate *** previously and they have no control over the separate dealerships but did inform me the dealership has theft insurance on their vehicles and they are able to make a claim under their insurance. I was in the office and spoke directly with dealership manager and he refused this recommendation.Business Response

I Leased my vehicle on 09/25/2021, for the past 5 weeks my car has been making a loud noise when accelerating and also shaking when at stop then pressing the gas. I took the car to *********** on 09/21/2022 I was there for 3 hrs with no answer, finally i insisted on knowing what was going on I was told that it could be the transmission that is was going to take a couple of days to make a full diagnosis so i asked for a loaner because i needed a vehicle they responded that they did not have any loaner cars, that there was a waiting list I became upset, spoke with supervisor with no luck so I had to rent a vehicle not knowing how long this is going to take. I think its there responsibilty to provide me with a vehicle. I am paying $400 for 7days after that will be $70 per day, I cannot afford it. *** corporate indicated that I could submit the incoice after the vehicle was repaired and if approved they will re-imburseme at $43 per day. I purchased my 2012 *** in 2016 at the time I worked for a Chevrolet Dealership. It had been traded in. After purchasing it, the previous owner came back in & I was talking with her when she told me the motor had been replaced. I was not aware of this when I purchased vehicle. She said she was driving down the ********* just quit, motor locked up. Well, the same thing just happened to me. Now Im widowed & filing for disability & live on a fixed income. I had to refinance it after my husband passed away now Im stuck with a car that needs a motor that likely wasnt any good to begin with, she said there were metal shavings in the motor that caused it the first time.
