I asked three employees what the return policy was before purchasing these far overpriced items as a gift for my sister. The boots I was attempting to return met all three criteria- a manager, *******, was extremely offputting and rude- had a bad additude from the moment he approached the register.. he refused to return my items despite what his employees had told me three times before, and almost seemed pleased to be anti-helpful. I won't argue in situations like this, but obviously will not be shopping here again. Higher *** should know about this mangers conduct and attitude- it's loosing them business.Initial Complaint

Should have went to ******* or Amazon!I've never paid over $50 for Shoes. Thought I'd Splurge and Treat Myself to something Nice so I went to the Boot Barn in ****, 45 Miles away.They only had size 13, I wear 14 in some and 15 in others. She said she could Order them. I said Great and handed her $150 ******** Dollars in Cash. She said she couldn't Accept Cash but she could Sell me a Gift Card to Pay for the Boots..1st Red Flag! Gave her the Cash she couldn't Accept 2 Minutes Earlier. She Ordered them and I Received them a few days later. Not a good fit so I tried to Exchange them for 14's. They don't make them in 14, just 13 & ***** Mile Round Trip.. And Guess what? They can't Return my Money but they're willing to give me another Gift Card. What a Scam!!! What the h*** am I supposed to do with a Gift Card from a Store I don't Shop at, Never have and Never will again?Gift Card Scam!! I have a Boot Barn credit card. I always made my payments on time and then paid it off. Once it was paid off they starting reporting, for the next month to the credit bureau, that I was then late on payments. How can I be late on payments with a zero balance?!?Initial Complaint

I know for a fact I have never been treated with such disrespect when talking to any representative in all my life. This lady (******************) was the absolute worst and honestly disgusting the way she talked to me. I felt soo hopeless and bewildered when she hung up on me. She was very strong off the bat that I was in the wrong and they have already done too much for me and there was no way to remove one late fee so I could pay it in full. She then tells me we dont want you to make a full payment just a payment and on time. I then told her the extenuating circumstances I found myself last month and why I couldnt pay but she didnt even listen to me. She tells me the payment isnt due for another week so I should be able to come up with the rest of the money by then?! That is absolutely wrong she left me in tears and canceling my card on the spot. The way they are talking to people is wrong. I wasnt combative or anything talking calmly to a lady who was abrasive and non interested from the get go! Come on BootBarn I know you can do better. Ive been a cardholder for years and they could see *** always paid and been a loyal customer. But that doesnt seem to matter to them. Honestly just saddened by this experience. Really just wanted the one late fee removed so I can pay everything off ? Im now paying more in fees than what I actually bought! Its crazyInitial Complaint

My name is *********************** and I was working at the Boot Barn on ************************************************************* from October 5th, 2022 to January 14th, 2023 as a Seasonal Sales Associate. When I had applied on Indeed, no where in the job listing did it say I was going to be seasonal. I had good hours at first, then started to only get one day a week only on the weekends. When I first started, we were traveling from *********** to ****** for training and were told we would be reimbursed for our miles and I never was after asking multiple times. On my last day of work, January 14th, 2023, my store manager called me in to tell me that the season is over and she can only keep 15 seasonals and I wasnt one of them. I got an envelope with a piece of paper that says Relationship with Employee Change and they had marked me as I Voluntarily Resigned. I did not voluntarily resign, I was laid off, and I was told the season ended on January 14th. I contacted Boot Barn HR and I was told that ***************** are hired on a temporary basis, based on the needs of the business, as stated in the Seasonal Employee Acknowledgment. I asked for a copy of the acknowledgment and I was told that I did not have one in my file. I do not know what to do as next steps as I want access to my original contract and I want it put as i was laid off, not resigned. Thank you for your time in helping me.Initial Complaint

I bought pair of boots from a boot barn retail store in **********, the service was neither good or bad but nonexistent, anyways I found a pair that fit. Wore them for about a week before I noticed the soles were deteriorating pretty fast saying all I do is walk on a smooth concrete floors. A month after purchasing the boots I walked through a puddle and my foot got wet. The left boot had worn completely through the sole. I emailed the customer support they said there was nothing wrong with the boots and Im pretty much on my own and out 170$ Because they dont stand behind their own products.Initial Complaint

I purchased a defective pair and first contacted Boot Barn about this issue on 11/7/22. I shipped the boots back on 11/10/22. A couple of days after seeing that the boots arrived (tracked via *** tracking), I reached out to Boot Barn on 11/21/22. It is now 12/19/22, and I am unable to get an answer about my boots and the status of my warranty claim. I was quoted 5-7 days a couple of times, but I have not once received an update on my boots. The original purchase was well over $200 and the return shipping was over $30. After a month and a half on not being able to utilize the boots I purchased, I'd first prefer a refund. If this is not possible, I'd like a new pair of boots shipped to me ASAP.Initial Complaint

Ordered a hat on 12/9/2022, money was immediately pulled from my bank account. Guven a tracking number on 12/10/2022 that has turned out to be fictitious. Hace checked it every day since receiving it and it has informed me that boot barn has not even shipped my order. Chat with them and they say it was a stock issue with a distribution center and it would be going out tues 12/11 or weds 12/12. No tracking update either day. Contact again, this time its being shipped from another store. Cant keep their story straight, still zero movement on tracking as well, which leads to believe its a fictitious number given to fool their customers into thinking theyve done something other than collect your money. It has been a week sincd I placed my order and I have neither a valid tracking number nor an item. I even chose to ship to store so this type of thing WOULDNT happen. Calling again today and Im sure I will get a whole other story. All I want is my item. I feel as Im veing discriminated against because of the dolloar amount I spent not being high enough for them to prioritize my order.Initial Complaint

I went online and purchased 2 items they charged me 1 price and added an additional charge the local store called the online and told her its a holding charge when picked up will be dropped. Will they keep that additional payment and they said it was refunded on 12 -2-22 I have not received the my money back can you help
