      Bright Now dental referred me to an Endodontist, but then the endodontist referred me back to the general dentist at Bright Now ******** to have the recommended work done, I was refused care, "Take your Medical and go somewhere else" the office manager stated, "we can refuse care". I went there twice, each time had to wait and hour in the waiting room. The dental hygienist threw up his arms and walked away when I told him I did not want a deep cleaning, he refused to do any cleaning on my teeth unless I agreed to a deep cleaning. Then he left the office without any further explanation. I did agree and waited months before another appt for my cleaning, in which when I arrived, the office never sent in my authorization so nothing happened again. A wasted appt, loss of work hours and then condescendingly told to "take my Medi-cal somewhere else...They have the right to refuse care".

      Smile Brands is an AWFUL company to work for. I would never refer them to anyone I know. They are a money hungry and dishonest company. ***"t waste your time working for them, you will get nothing out of it.

      They are very unorganized..dishonest, and unresponsive with handling billing no follow up although they say its been taken care of. And no accountability when they cause delays in billing causing your insurance claim to be downgraded and the patient has to pay more out of pocket. $500 for me after multiple visits regarding notice that Dentist was not in Delta Dentals records and multiple notices from the insurance company. Every time I would inquire for( 9 mos) they would claim it is taken care of..then another notice from ins and then bills and then collectors. Last week was told by billing person she would take care of it and ask another dentist to sign offas for phone call telling me it was taking care of..again no follow through. Today told by supervisor through billing person its over a year now too late. I have to pay. I never agreed to have an out of Network dentistshe also said the dentist was in network so why was info not given to insurance in timely manner. Also approx 2 years I was told by one of the dentists that I needed 2 new crowns..the lower one was cracked. She said there is a chance that the tooth will break off. She came back to say there was an 80% chance it would break off..I hoped it would be ok..When I went back for apt for crown I was given a paper to sign off for an extraction for implant. I refused. I was told by a different dentist that it was too deep for a repair and crown could break off at any time and be an emergency and painful. I had a root canal done years ago so was not worried about the pain. Still fine 2 years on. There were several times 3 plus in the 6 + years that I would receive notices that the information (dentist) did not match ins.records. But this was the 1st time that the ins. Down graded and thus I had to pay an additional $500 on top of the already paid $ 700 in April 2021. The fact that the billing clerk makes me wonder if they often use dentists out of Net. and why I never knew that.

      I paid for a crown. Somehow a cavity developed under it. So I had appointments from August 2022 to correct the matter. The crown fell out. I went to the dentist, they took x-rays, and the receptionist was to call me when she created the appointment. That never happened. Calling went to voicemail. And parking at the State St. location is terrible. On my lunch, I went into the office. The receptionist review my file and made the appointment. Because I had two appointments on one day, I took a sick-day from work. Well, on the day of the appointment, the receptionist calls and says they have to cancel the appointment. From August 2022, they knew what was required. Unacceptable service. Time to change dentist and inform the insurance company in case this is a practice of the clinic. They do bill for x-rays each time.

      FRAUD - office staff (****) rude and unwilling to assist. Asked to speak to office manager- called and left messages over 10 times at least, never received a call back. Found by accident they have been over charging me for services for at least 3 yrs. (all I could see with insurance) but have gone here for much longer. When I brought to their attention I was treated rudely and would not help to get account correct. I sent a spreadsheet with all charges and proof of payment dating back to 2017 totaling over $300 to which they owed me.Finally asked for assistance from my insurance company. They went back to August 2020 and sent a letter to myself and Bright Now showing I am owed $134.30. No response, no refund check, nothing. The odds of my account being the only one overcharged is probably slim. How many others are dealing with the same mess? Can't believe they are still operating.

      Terrible place. They did not listen when I told the insurance person, I have two dental insurances. I was told I needed to pay $71.00 for the cleaning. Why do I have to pay anything when I have two dental insurances. Bad people skills. Staff is needing to be EDUCATED on people skills. I am a retired Social Worker who has worked 20+ years with treating people with respect and efficiency. I have not gone back for my cleaning due to this very serious problem.

      I have been forced to find another dental provider in addition to being denied services over an error in which they failed to verify my insurance. My daughter previously had braces that had to be removed/reinstalled after we relocated from another state once the lockdown was lifted from Covid. I signed and agreed to a price, just to be billed more stating that she wasnt covered under insurance after a year? I wrote a letter to their corporate headquarters, sent emails, and called with no results. It is several months later and nothing. Sadly they are experiencing staffing issues and canceled my appointment earlier this year after it was already scheduled several months in advance. They also abruptly located their orthodontist without notice. It is unfair that I have to be penalized because their billing department failed on their behalf when I signed a contract. ***** is to blame for a lot of things today, but its wrong when someone is genuinely trying to right something and being rudely ignored.

      I am writing to file a complaint against Bright Now Dental in ******, ****. First off, never go here! My husband took my daughter to have a tooth pulled and her xrays and referral were both emailed to them well enough in advance and the nurse who had a huge attitude issue the entire time told my husband that they did not have any of them and he needed to reschedule. I called the front office and of course the lady at the front desk was able to pull it right up right away. The entire time they were there they were both treated with disrespect and questioned for things that did not pertain to the appt. We have been here 3 times and each time we have gone we have been treated like complete c*** by the front desk staff and more so by the nursing staff in the back. It seems as though the people that work here do not care at all for the patients and their famillies. They are rude, disrespectul and each one has an attitute problem. I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly by a doctors office. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB because of how we were treated.Spend a little more money and go somewhere else where you will be valued as a patient and a human being.

      I am writing to file a complaint against Castle Dental. More specifically I would like to file a complaint against the front office staff *************************. I have come to this location several times with ************************* always being rude. Today at my appointment I was told there is only one option for a filling. After speaking to Doctor ** there are actually three options for a filling. ***** was not whiling to provide the additional options. After speaking to the doctor I decided to go ahead and get the dental work completed with additional services. ************************* ran my insurance with providing inaccurate information to get the highest amount possible out of myself and the insurance. In additional to, when inquiring about my benefits and signing paperwork ***** acted irritated with my inquiries and proceeded to ****** the paperwork out of my hand. I informed the office staff that I would not be completing my dental work there solely because of the attitude and treatment from *************************. I asked someone in management contact information. She refused to provide the information to me. I would like to be contacted from a higher up member of Castle Dental to file a formal complaint against *************************.
