Always canceling classes and never hiring new iinstructors. Im writing about canceling classes and making up reasons that arent true. Canceling morning classes and never putting it on the schedule in advanced. Morning yoga gone and no replacement instructor. Back to back Monday morning class canceled said bcu of flooring and we been dancing and exercising on floor as is. Manager doesnt even know how to work the surround stereosystem in the gym so we can have music when were doing Zumba and as a replacement instructor.. Gym is losing a lot of returningcustomers because of this issue.

I signed for a free three day pass on their website. When I got to the gym, they told me I either had to get a membership, refer three people or pay for a $20 day pass. Dont fall for the free pass. It is clearly a scam.

Gym was terrible. Never had hand sanitizer or cleaning spray during covid. There are so few machines and so many members u have people practically sweating on you. Then when I finally went to cancel they said I had to do so at the ********** location because they didn't have a manager. Problem is that location is far from my house that is why I did not sign up at that location.

They closed their ********** location and forced double the amount of people into the gym. Cant even get a parking spot or a machine. If theyre going to double the amount of people in the gym so its harder for anybody to work out they should half the membership cost. Nobody at the ************ location or ********** location would have become a member at either location, knowing this in advance.

LA Fitness in ***********************. The person by the name of ***** that works there told me they were running a holiday December 2024 special for $40 per person My wife and I accepted that and we were only going to be in ******** state for 3 weeks and at the end of the 3 weeks he was going to cancel my subscription. So at the end of the subscription we told them we were leaving and we were heading south for the winter, he said the subscription was canceled then I find another charge beside the $80 that he charged me for another 57 and when we got to ******* I had LA Fitness calling me and telling me that I still owed them money. This *** ***** didn't tell me the whole story and use my credit card to cover charges that I had no idea that he was going to do LA Fitness is a scam.

I just want to share my experience at LA Fitness incase anyone is looking to join. When you join you get a "fitness assessment". I talked with the trainer and thought he really listened to me. We did the "fitness assessment" and I decided sign up for six months of personal training. I was sore the first few days. I show up for my first session but ***** never booked it so the trainer had no clue I had an appointment. I told her no big deal because I was hurting too bad to work out that night.I want to say that I have since discovered that ***** does the exact same assessment on every one. He did not listen to me when I told him I am a disabled veteran with chronic health issues.About day 4 I developed numbness/tingling across my low back radiating down both legs. I went to La Fitness and told them what I was going through and that my doctor wants me to not engage in personal training and that I wanted to cancel the contract for health reasons. They instructed me to get a letter from my doctor which I did. Tonight they say they won't accept it because she did not put a diagnosis in the letter. I am fairly positive that is protected health information.Moral of the story do not sign a contract with La Fitness. You are not person. You are a contract. I would think long about even joining for a whole list of reasons.

The lack of security at LA Fitness Decatur (************* **) shows the organization's (Fitness International) negligence in protecting its members. On Friday, November 29, 2024, after an altercation on the basketball court gun-shots, could be heard from the gym's parking lot. On December 21, 2024, there was a brazen (~9:30 AM) auto break-in that resulted in property damage to 3 vehicles and a firearm being stolen. This adds to the history of crimes that have been and continue to be frequently committed on this property. When the responding police officer to the auto break-in inquired about the security cameras, he was informed that the cameras did not provide playback. Without parking lot security, I am afraid something more drastic is going to occur on this property.

Just wanted to warn others of this live haggling location. I spoke with a gentleman last week about pricing, after walking through options we discussed $19.99 for the main holder and $14.99 for an additional person. I asked him if it was ok to discuss and come within a few days to sign up and he said that was fine. The day I was intending on coming in I called him in the AM to verify he would be available so we could signup and he said yes. I clarified and said exact pricing we had discussed and he agreed. Hours later I came in to signup and he sat me down and told me the pricing wasn't an option anymore. When I asked him how that was possible as it was less than a week (and he confirmed in the morning) he said it changed with the "New Year." I had informed him no one advised me of the pricing changes having a window of activation so I asked if we could match the price we had aligned on. He said there was no way as the membership changes January 1st. So I spoke with the supervisor (who had to inconvenience himself with my question as opposed to texting) and he shrugged his shoulder and said sorry, it changed Sunday evening (without even looking at anything). These people will waste your time and the only thing they appear to care about is making a quota (which is why I'm assuming they offered me the lower pricing initially). These people will never have a straight answer and I wouldn't be surprised if each membership was a random haggled price. Red flags for sure.

12/1/14/24 - Incident with OM ****** ***** (VP) displayed unprofessional behavior that escalated and police called due to the theft of property. Upon check-in, VP claimed my acct was flagged and began addressing me with a hostile tone. Despite explaining I'm an Elite member with multi-club access, he insisted I take another photo, which had been done multiple times previously. I declined, citing no issues at other locations, VP yelled profanities, I dont care, you can take your a** to Antioch. I still took another photo. Employee, **** *. intervened professionally, verified my ID, and cleared me to workout. As I walked away, VP continued yelling, I dont give a f***, you dont belong here." Next time fix your bad a** attitude. He threatened to call the cops, which didn't intimidate me. Despite this, I completed my workout. Shockingly, I later learned that VP swiftly canceled my membership, despite my adherence to gym policies. Adding to my stress, my high-value properties went missing during the incident & weren't returned to the front desk. I believe VP's erratic behavior and lack of oversight contributed to this theft. -I have since learned that this is not Vs first altercation with members. He has reportedly been involved in physical altercations at the gym. His repeated unprofessionalism and volatility make him a liability to **************** -V used his position to escalate an avoidable situation, including unnecessary police involvement and canceling my membership without cause. The lack of cameras and oversight contributed to the theft of my property left me feeling unsafe. VP's employment must be terminated immediately. His aggressive behavior, misuse of authority, discriminatory acts, and failure to represent the company professionally endangers members and tarnish the gyms reputation. Corporate lacked support as well & have not fairly resolved the issue.Again, VPs actions are unacceptable, unprofessional and quite discriminatory. HELP!
