Stay away!November 30th, 2023, is when I received my "Thank You for Applying with E Mortgage Capital, ***** email. We made it into mid-March 2024 because I had to cut ties and find an alternative as Emortgage had still not closed the two most important refinances. We had the "clear to close" for weeks. Countless follow-*** with no responses for sometimes close to 2 business days.My experience in switching over to eMortgage capital to close (what I thought) would be seamless refinances has been painful, to say the least. With our track record, appraised values, reserves in our account, the lack of communication and coordination has been astounding.My business partner and I have purchased and sold $13.2M of our own personal real estate within the past 4 years, $4.8 within the past 6 months, and have plans to borrow much more as we scale.The amount of time, effort, headache, and unnecessary stress this has caused is unacceptable. Conditions, Timelines, and Terms continued to change, and we were in limbo for so long because we're being told "expecting CDs" any day. I have close to 200 emails back and forth with the team handling these deals, and 90% of the time there were multiple calls or emails on my end to try to get in contact with the team handling with no response. Literally 4 emails with no response. Multiple voicemails with no response. Only to receive a call at 9-10 PM at night, asking for documents that were in the ****** folder I created or should have been requested DAY 1...I recognize this isn't solely on your team and that there's always something that comes up, but the lack of communication or insight is beyond frustrating and unprofessional.They are very much a mainstream lender, and unless your loan is perfect, it's not going to be easy. We ended up going with our previous lender, and she closed it in 2 weeks. What a joke.

Hello ******************,I am so sorry that your experience was less than satisfactory. I understand we had 3 loans (loans that needed exceptions to guidelines and presented with other complex issues) for you one of which funded and 2 others that loan documents to close the loan were sent for your signature but you were not satisfied with the *** restrictions as they didnt provide you the cash you had hoped for. We are not only a lender but a broker as well and we had shopped these loans to several different lenders to find the options we thought had the best chance to meet your needs. At issue with the length of ownership being under 6 monrths otherwise we could have got exactly what you desired. Our staff put an inordinate amount of time into your transactions with the hope of providing you with your desired result but as you mentioned some things are just beyond our control. I have spoken with the loan officer and he felt there had been a lot of communication with you and you were great at providing conditions when the lender asked for them. I reminded him that the consumer perception is different and have coached him to realize this and to work with his clients to ensure the level of communication is what the consumer is expecting.Review fromMark W

5 starsQuick and easy way to get a HELOC even while out of the area. Started the process while deployed and communication was key and maintained throughout the process. Every one through the process was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone shopping around. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. 1 starWe had a horrible experience dealing with a lender named ******************************* #nmls ******* in ********. He doesn't know what he's doing. He's unprofessional and speaks to clients with no respect. He makes a million excuses but doesn't deliver on anything he says. He lies continuously and doesn't provide you with what you need to know to purchase a home like a loan estimate upfront a very unpleasant experience. Make sure to get everything in writing. He also has a current client and he's holding the loan hostage I read that in another forum.Review fromJeremy S

5 stars************************* at E Mortgage has helped me purchase two ********* and each time I have received impeccable service. My situation is challenging due to being self-employed but **** always manages to find a loan program that works for me. When other lenders shot me down and didn't try, **** was able to come in, secure a loan and explain every step of what I needed to do along the way. This last escrow was very tough: I was moving out of state, we were given less than 30 days from the builder, and a lot of curveballs were thrown our way but **** was able to get it done - and on-time! I cannot recommend ************************* enough. For any loan need he is your guy.
