This horrible lie of a company I was not 2 weeks before they took $295.00 off my credit card, which I canceled,, MY CARD, and have an OPEN claim on with the bank and my lawyer. This company used my card and told me they were pulling Tax transcripts for $12.95. After waiting 2 weeks. Receiving no paperwork or explanation and not being able to reach ANYONE... THEY CAME BACK TO SAY THE ONLY WAY THEY COULD HELP ME WAS TO PAY THEM OVER $1,000 TO START MOVING ON MY CASE "TO PROTECT ME FROM THE **** AND OWING ON MY TAXES. IN THE TWO WEEKS THEY OPENED 6 POWER OF ATTORNEYS ACROSS THE ***** ON ME! I CANCELED MY BANK CARD. Based on the information documented in our records, you had previously given your consent to all the stipulations outlined in the contract. You were allotted a window of time to review the contract and opt for a complete reimbursement should you have been dissatisfied with the services we intended to offer. Subsequently, we proceeded with the tasks at hand, including submitting a ***** of ******** on your behalf and initiating an IRS tax investigation as planned. As discussed during your initial conversation with our Tax Associate, the findings from that investigation were subsequently communicated to you and you had the option to continue with the help, but it looks like you weren't willing to pay the extra fees to continue. Currently, we are unable to proceed with your refund request, as the initial fee you submitted to us accounts for the services rendered. We appreciate your continued communication and feedback. No Response from IDEAL after payment was received..$2295.00. in May 2023.After three months they did nothing..No acknowledgement of sensitive documents..no followup...I made at least 20 Phone calls..not one was answered.. On April 25th, 2023, you were informed about the necessary documents requirements. However, regrettably, we did not receive the requested information from your end. Nevertheless, when you reached out to cancel the service on May 2nd, 2023, our team agreed to proceed with your case after you expressed your intention to submit the pending documents. Subsequently, we scheduled a follow-up call for May 16th, but, unfortunately, this call did not materialize due to a payment chargeback initiated by you. Despite this, we continued our communication with you in June, and during that time, you requested our address. We believed you were considering reinstating your case and submitting the necessary documents. I signed an agreement with Ideal Tax Solutions for them to help me with my tax issue. I signed the agreement in 12/2022 and issued them power of attorney to communicate with ***. As of 6/19/23 there was no action taken by Ideal Tax and I received further notice from *** stating they have determined an amount I owe and issued a due date. On this date I requested that my agreement with Ideal Tax be terminated and a refund issued . Im ***** Ideal Tax $3,350.25 for them to assist in this matter. I was told by ************************* (the rep assigned to my case) that he was escalating it to a supervisor to process the termination/refund. I have since 6/19/2023 attempted to folllw up with no response from ****** as I have received no correspondence from a supervisor. ****** has not responded and I have received no further communications from their company. I attempted again on 7/5/2023 to contact ****** (once again unsuccessfully) and I notified him I would be filing a complaint and also seeking legal remedies. Any assistance that BBB could provide would be much appreciated. I paid Ideal Tax more than I can settle my case with the *** for. I have contacted *** directly to start the process that Ideal Tax has never fulfilled their contractual obligation to cokpleteZBusiness Response

I made routine payments to this company. They stated that they had filed a power of attorney with the **** I spoke with the *** several times and they stated that no power of attorney had been filed by anyone. They also promised to file my past due tax returns for me on 2 different occasions and they promised they would be filed in just a few days. This never happened. Complete scam.Business Response

From the notes that we have on file, we asked for you to send paperwork, numerous times, for us to file your tax returns. Your Case Manager was actively following up with you to get the necessary information, but you did not cooperate with getting us the information and eventually stopped making payments for our services. Due to your lack of communication and failure to pay, you were sent a case closing letter on May 17, again no response, but instead you opted to complaint via the BBB. We wish we could have spoken to you before doing this as it is our goal to provide the best customer service possible, but we cant if you dont want the help. I started doing business with ******** Solutions in Oct 2022. I initially paid them ****** to get my case started. Then they began to take payments out twice a month up until December 17, 2022 and then all of a sudden they stopped. They said they sent emails to my email but I never received them. The only one I received was from a lady named *******. I email her with my new information but she never responded. Then I get a notice from the *** where my refund was kept this year. When I reached out to them on Friday May 5th. They pretended they had been trying to reach me. I have been calling the billing department but when you call no one will answerBusiness Response

From the notes that we have in our files, you started working with us in September of 2022. Between September of 2022 and January 2023, we communicated with you via phone calls and email. From these notes, we also see that your payments defaulted on 1/12 and your case was moved to billing. You were contacted for 72 days regarding payment and got no response from you. You finally called us back on May 5th asking for an update and you were notified that your case had been suspended. That same day, you spoke to our Servicing Manager,*****************, you got upset and hung up the phone. We wish we would of have the chance to speak with you that day, however you were not cooperating, and we couldnt agree on anything. I will not accept this. I tried on several occasions to contact the billing department and got no response. The case worker only made contact with me when she was trying to see if I had received my tax return for 2020. I emailed her back but she never replied. They said they tried to contact me about not being able to get funds. That is untrue because my bank notifies me when someone tries to withdraw funds and they are insufficient. I never received emails from the billing department or any other mail forwarded to my new address. I have even checked my old address and there is no mail from ********. So I do know who they were emailing. As of now I can't afford to continue because I am currently unemployed.Business Response

They misread the email I said the bank will notify me through emails and text when there are over drafts. I did say say I received one on that date. I never received any text or email. The date the payment was suppose to take place was next to my last pay check from my former employee. I had on several occasions to contact the billing **** but no one return my call. I even try to contact my case worker because I initially paid them over $1000.00 up front to began my case. So if they can't complete my case I need a refund because payments were never late until the billing department dropped the ball on my January payment.Initial Complaint

I hired Ideal Tax to help me with my tax problem. They charged me $1990 and allowed $200 month for 8 months. I paid for 4 months ($800) but I am on a fixed income and I spent a lot of money on my car and couldnt afford to pay the $1990. They closed my account with no refund. They never did anything for me so I should have had my money returned. I would like it returned now. Thank youBusiness Response

I spent $4000 to negotiate my taxes owed to the **** When I asked the representative if this is worth the cost he told me that the "tax experts" were going to pursue every angle to reduce my taxes owed. At the time I owed approx. $10,000. The representative assured me that $4000 is worth it because I owe $10,000 and it behoeves me to spend $4000 instead of paying back all of my taxes. He assured me that I would save at least that much once the "expert" attorneys would determine which program eligibility suited my situation. Then MONTHS or even an entire YEAR goes by without any updates...just stalling because the *** is so slow to respond. Low and behold I still owe the SAME amount - interstest as well. When I expressed my anger that I SAVED NOTHING and could've put that $4000 toward taxes owed they told me "we protected you from garnishment" and "we got your a payment plan that's really good" What kind of B.S. is that. i feel so STUPID for falling for this C*** I am SURE that I'm not alone....Business Response

A resolution with the *** is based completely on the clients current financial situation. Based on the information you provided us; we were not able to get you on a hardship program because of your high disposable income after taking out *** allowable expenses. However, we were able to get you the lowest possible installment agreement. this agreement was confirmed on 3/23/23 for a specific amount a month, which you were aware of. As far as waiting for months, we were not stalling, but were truly waiting on the *** to process the tax returns that were filed. The call starts out with an automated voice saying that you have an *** tax debt and to hold the line. Then when someone live gets on the line, they argue with you that you dialed their number. What a total scam. DO NOT have these people settle your tax debts. Know that if you call the *** directly, you can settle them there or setup a payment arrangement. Taxpayers of this country DO NOT NEED this organization.Business Response
