Several years ago I subscribed or got scammed by this company. ******* was my consultant. I put about 5,000$ into getting my taxes cleared up. It is now January ******* I have tax leans on my house, credit is so bad I am embarrassed to say. Constantly take $$$ out of my accounts. ******* was finally fired. I am still in financial distress. Ideal Tax cancelled my membership. No new solution, definitely not IDEAL

She promised to help me, but then she stopped talking to me. They got nearly ************************** on credit card. I have since asked for my money back, but they will not respond. These people are scammers. Please dont fall for it.

Highly reccomend! They got me in non collective status of nearly $28,000 of taxes, protected my assets, bank accounts, and even kept me in the loop of everything going on! ***** ********** and their attorneys have been a huge help and very understanding! And in case u dont have the full legal payment to pay in full they can work with low down payments and got me 8 months of payments to completely settle the legal and power of attorney fees! If incoukd give 10 stars i would.

I trusted I trusted Ideal tax with my tax problem and they are not doing what they agreed upon with me. I left my tax lawyer to come with them and the agreement we had was supposed to be in stone meaning they gonna take care of things, but they have not satisfied my tax problems, I call them, & they dont answer the phone, they are collecting my money every month and I am getting notices final notices **** in the mail at this point. Im frustrated so I dont agree that anybody use them anymore.

I JUST WANT MY 295 BACK AND FOR YALL TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT AND ILL DELETE THE SCRIPT BUT SENSE YALL WONT IM GIVING OUT YOUR SCRIPT TO SAVE PPL FROM EXPERIENCING BEING SCAMMED WHEN WE ARE ALREADY IN DEBT BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Phase 1 after sign-up is the "investigation phase" which takes around 30 days and usually costs $295. I've seen the investigation fee drop to as low as $99 so you can try haggling. This phase involves you signing an 8821 form to allow a minimum wage idiot to order your account transcripts from *******. But wait - can't I do that myself for free at *******? Yes, you can and it takes less than 5 mins. This will become a common theme, as you will see. However, OR will not waive the fee even if you provide your own *************** must pay up and allow the company to order them because..uh, just because Ok.After all transcripts have been ordered and 30 sleepless night for you, OTR will have an idea of how much total tax debt you're in including penalties and interest. This is when the salespeople pitch phase 2 - "the resolution". They will likely ask for copies of your recent paystubs at this time to get an idea of how much you earn. The most common question I see in threads about OTR is how much they charge for their services. Truth is the more you make, the more they charge. I have seen resolution fees anywhere from $2,000 to $40,000+. It gets insane. If you pushback, they may lower their fee a little. They will also lower the fee if you pay up front rather than installments. But they know you're stressed out, desperate and scared of the **** They will play on your fears. Many customers drop out at this stage when faced with a huge resolution fee but others think "I've already paid them $295 for the investigation. I can't stop now". Sunk cost fallacy.Once you've signed up for resolution, it's time to get you into compliance i.e. making sure you're up to date with your tax return filings for the past 6 years.

We paid $5,000.00 to Ideal Tax and they have done nothing except ask for the same information over and over. When we first contacted Ideal Tax they asked us for four or five years of tax returns. After analyzing the information we were told they could surely help us.Throughout the over two years (almost 3years), they have continued to ask for the same information over again and again. To us, it feels as if the information we initially sent to Ideal Tax was lost or ignored as employees were replaced by more current employees. Thus concentrating their efforts on newer clients. They definitely have not spent more than a few weeks worth of work on our case. We would like to receive part - if not all - of our payment. At this point the refund would now pay all our taxes in full.
