1 starDo NOT buy any Bosch products. We bought an oven from a major retailer and after two weeks the baking element fried itself inside the oven as well as the terminal block. Almost started a fire in my house. Have been trying to get a replacement oven or a full refund for several weeks now. They offered us a different model in a different color and when we agreed they told us for several weeks that they were trying to find in installer. Really? It takes weeks to find someone to install an oven? Then the problem was that they needed someone to deliver it. Then it turns out that the oven was on back order. We finally opted to get a refund. Still waiting to get an email to start the process. Do not expect any calls or emails with updates. They do not reach out and in my opinion do not care. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Just terrible.Review fromJudy A

1 starWould not recommend buying Bosch products. Bought a refrigerator in 2021 that has temperature issues that we have been dealing with for 6 months. Bosch sent a tech out who can only diagnose by replacing every part at a charge to us and its close to $1000. The control board is bad and we are the 191 person waiting for the part with no date for availability. They will prorate a new one if you dont want repair. I unfortunately had to pick a star to get this far but I would choose not to give even 1 star. My advise is dont buy a Bosch product. ******** customer service. Its sad because the day I called it took me 2 hours to get through because they were having a customer service meeting. I asked for a refund because I dont trust another product and they said NO.Review fromSteven W

1 starI have had nothing but issues with this 500 series fridge. The first major problem was the E2 error code, meaning the ice-maker stops working. Fortunately, the first occurrence happened while the fridge was still under warranty, and a Bosch technician replaced the entire ice maker. However, the issue returned a few months later. I managed to clear it by rebooting the fridge, but it came back a third time. I dont want a fridge that requires a reboot every 2-3 months.Around the time of the third E2 error, I noticed water leaking from the freezer seal. Upon opening the freezer, I discovered a sheet of ice about an inch and a half thick. This buildup had clearly been happening for months. Ive never left the door open (it alerts you if you do), and after breaking up the ice, it was evident that it had formed from dozens of thin layers. This issue had been developing until the ice had nowhere else to go but melt at the seal. This all came to a head seven days outside of the warranty period. I called Bosch, hoping they would address these issues out of goodwill since it was so close to the end of the warranty. They gave me no clear answer, only stating that they would submit it for review and scheduled a technician visit. The tech rebooted the fridge to fix the E2 error and confirmed that the ice buildup had been occurring for many months, definitely while it was still under warranty. Despite this, Bosch would not commit to covering the repair costs and kept saying, We will escalate for review. I was charged for the visit, and nothing was fixed. The technician even said the ice and the E2 error would return unless repaired.I emailed Bosch detailing my experience but received no response. I asked if I could get a swap or pay to upgrade to an 800 model--nothing. The promised review of the out-of-warranty repairs never happened, and no one has contacted me since. Now Im stuck with this faulty Bosch fridge that the company itself wont even address.Review fromTanya R.

1 starMy 4 year old built-in Bosch microwave caught on fire ! Luckily, my husband was standing there to extinguish. Otherwise it couldve burned down our entire house. The Bosch repairman said due to bad parts, FOUND MAG WAS BAD AND BURNED. INSPECTED WAVE GUIDE, WAVE GUIDE IS BURNED AND PITTED . This is a major safety issue and is their fault,. there are already class action suits about Bosch products/microwaves. Just ****** it. The company should pay the total cost to replace and install a new microwave. Instead, they offered us a $500 reimbursement.Review fromShannon M

1 starAccidentally signed up for a service plan for a Bosch refrigerator after having already purchased one through *********** I called to cancel the next day, then 3 weeks later, as per their email, but when I call the number provided, they pretend they can't find the order and refuse to refund me. They give me the runaround giving me a different phone number and each person tells me I need to call another number. I called 7 times. I took it up with ***** Fargo and they refused to refund me as well, because Bosch refused to give them my money back. I'm sure if I called to use this supposed warranty, they'd just tell me they can't find the order number. They just take your money and lie! Yet, whenever I file a dispute with PayPal they take care of it right away. Perhaps I should take my money to them. They have better interest rates anyway. 1 starPaid for a 800 series refrigerator in July 2021 with manufacturer's warranty 2-5 years. My refrigerator stopped working in 3/2024. I paid out of pocket for a service call. $137.00. I was told the part needed is on back order with NO ETA. I have a 7-month-old and need a refrigerator. All my food and breast milk were spoiled. Bosch offered me to spend another $950 out of pocket for a new refrigerator. The refrigerator I have is not even 3 years old! I feel like I was scammed! I paid more money for a Bosch refrigerator because I thought their products were more reliable with better customer service. I realize now their products are made poorly with no customer service. I need a refrigerator and I can't wait for a part with no date of receiving.Review fromJosh M

1 starI had an awful experience with ***********************************, a service technician from BSH Home Appliances Corp. My Bosch dishwasher is under warranty. After 6 months of use, steam started to escape from one side of the door. The steam got under the paint of the adjacent drawers and ruined the paint job and warped one of the drawers. ******************** arrived and said the problem was caused by the installer because a s**** in one bracket was in the first hole, and a s**** in the other bracket was in the second hole. He fixed the alignment and left, but the problem kept happening. That's because the "problem" wasn't an installation problem at all and could not be caused by the brackets.******************** then came back for a second visit and told me that he was wrong and actually the problem was caused by the door not closing fully. This made no sense either because the problem only recently started happening, but the door had been the same for 6 months. So, he was wrong a second time. Then, he noticed a tiny ding on the inside of the dishwasher probably caused by a plate or cup hitting the metal. He said this tiny ding had deformed the entire interior dishwasher door and caused the issue. This makes no sense because the ding is tiny, and it's not in the area where the problem is occurring. Basically, he was just guessing and had no idea what really caused the issue. However, Bosch relies on this technician to be honest and now refuses to send a technician who can accurately diagnose the problem, so I'm left with no recourse under my warranty unless I want to pay ******************** over $600 to install a new door, which won't fix the problem anyways. In summary, the BSH Home Appliances technician was wrong about the problem three different times in three different ways, and now I'm stuck because Bosch believes the technician and will no longer help even though the problem occurred when the dishwasher was under warranty.Review fromDarlene B

1 starI have had the Bosch appliance technician out to my home 2 times to address a non-working ice maker. My frig is only 3 years old and the ice maker just stopped working. The first time the tech did not address the error code that was blinking inside the frig. He said he rebooted the system it and to wait 48 hours then ice would be produced. It did not. They sent the same tech back a week later and he worked on it some more and changed boards and said to wait another 48 hours. After he left, I realized the water dispenser doesn't work which it did all along. He actually caused another problem. Now I have to wait yet another 2 weeks to get the tech back to my house. I certainly hope I do not get the same incompetent technician. I will never buy a Bosch appliance again.Review fromMylene M

1 starBosch Rebate program not worth it.We purchased 5 Bosch appliances with the incentive to receive a $500 rebate. The promotion time frame was valid from Jan 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021. We placed the order on March 2, 2021 and due to Covid back-up did not receive the last appliance until July 12, 2022, (15-months later). The application required all model and serial numbers before we could apply for the rebate. We sent all the required paperwork on July 20, 2022 with a cover letter reminding them that the late application was due to their appliance shortage etc. After many months we still hadn't heard back so we called, and we were told we were denied due to the application not being filed within the promo time frame.Unfortunately, I was not aware of this response until this week which is why I contacted the Rebate team today and was again denied the $500.00 rebate. We are very disappointed with the company and will no longer purchase or recommend their products in the future.Review fromDoug P

1 starI have a Bosch dishwasher, model SHPM78Z55N/20. It is two months out of warranty. Shortly after starting up it there is a smell of electrical smoke.. After being transferred around twice by Bosch customer service, I was hold for 45 minutes, then they disconnected me! I called a local appliance repair company. They said that it is very difficult to work with Bosch. I am back on hold with Bosch, 30 minutes so far. I wish that I had considered customer support reputation prior to purchasing Bosch! ************
