Absolutely horrible. Terrible customer service. Was confirmed delivery and told I had to be home so I took the day off and they were a no show. They rescheduled for two days later against no show. Rescheduled third time - fighting with them to cancel and get a refund to no avail. Two missed days of work for this garbage company. Buyers beware ! My experience with this company has been a nightmare. I received the Utopian chair in October of 2021. I was traveling until the Spring of 2022 and noticed I would get a rash upon sitting on the chair. I also noticed the chair had a yellow discoloration all over the chair. I filed a return claim with pictures of my rash and the fabric discoloration and got denied immediately. One of the customer service members said the fabric turned yellow because it must have been in the sun. I told him I only moved it by the window recently, and he started challenging me on how I was able to move the chair if I was out of town. TWICE, someone said a manager named Christina would be in touch. I've waited 3 times for her to call me. I just followed up and apparently Christina LIED and wrote in the system that she called and left a voicemail, which she did not. I want this chair OUT of my apartment and my money back. How dare a company charge over a thousand dollars for a chair that is ruined after sunlight exposure? There was NO sympathy when I sent the photos of my allergic reaction and didn't offer any solution to make things right. Stay far away from this company.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

After review of the account, it appears we spoke with the guest on 8/8/2022, she reported staining and skin irritation. In speaking with the guest she advised she was out of the country for teaching and upon her return is when the skin irritation started, with the chair being delivered in 2021 it is unclear if the chair is the actual cause.
Placing furniture in direct sunlight will cause fading over time, for that reason we are unable to assist as environmental influences are not covered under warranty.
Guest Services manager Christina, has noted she left a voicemail on the number we have on file advising we are unable to move forward with this claim.Taylor S

The merchant's response is completely false. I started getting skin irritation from the moment I sat on the chair. I wasn't sure if it was from the chair so I decided to wait to reach out. A few months later after returning home, I sat on the chair again and had the skin irritation.
In addition, the chair was NOT in the sun for more than a week. What kind of **** quality material turns yellow form the sun after a few days? Even worse, your business is LYING about contacting me. I waited several weeks for a manager to call me and even followed up 3 times. Still no call. So don't make yourselves look good by telling me you left a voicemail. That is a complete lie and your staff must be fake logging calls so they don't have to deal with customers. You guys are the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my 30 years on this earth. I purchased a rug in April. It arrived? My husband and I rolled it out, and we noticed there was an area that didn't lie flat. We thought that the rug needed time to settle though. A few weeks later the rug was still not flat. It was evident that this was a defect. I called customer service. They informed me that it was past the return period. I explained that this was a defect. After much back and forth over a few days, a manager routed me to the warranty department. I spoke to the warranty department. They had me send in photos. They concluded that this was a defect. I opted to NOT have a replacement rug sent because by this point I was far too frustrated with Living Spaces. They said they would send me a check, which I still have not received. Note: this is approximately 2 months since they said the check would be sent. I called Living Spaces today and spoke to a customer service woman. She told me that they canceled the check because I opted for a replacement, which I stated previously is not correct. She has informed the refunds department and told me it will take a week for them to look into this issue. Then it will take 10-15 days for me to receive the check. If this isn't the most absurd, worst example of customer service than I'm not sure what is. Nobody should shop at this store. The cost savings of shopping here isn't worth the headache of dealing with this company should an issue arise.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

We purchased a kitchen table with 3 chairs and a bench at Living Spaces Vista, CA location. The new sale process was great and the associate convinced us to buy the warranty. She said if anything were to break the warranty protects us in that they'd come out and fix it. Well they did not honor their warranty in fact when we reached out they said we needed photos - so we sent them great photos from all anglesinstead of them agreeing to apply their warranty they just asked for more photos. We sent them more photos. Now they just ignore and ghost us. This is irresponsible and a bait and switch. If we didn't have to pay extra for the warranty and weren't sold the service then broken furniture would be acceptable and just unlucky. But fact is we were sold it, paid for it and we're ignored. This is horrible customer service. We will never buy from them again and urge all customers to not pay extra for this plastic warranty service.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Don't ever order anything from this store. I ordered the uptopia couch sales lady told me I would receive it in July... mind you I ordered this in June... never received any email or any update on my order. I call and now it was delayed until august... now August is here and I have not heard from living spaces not even an email. I call, and some lady said she will put a ticket, that someone will reach out in the next 42 hours... NOBODY EVER CALLS. I let a week go by, call again ! And now telling me I won't receive it until OCTOBER... and when I asked to cancel my order and get a refund back they wanted to take away 25% from my purchase !! I was never ever ever told that when I bought the couch! And on top of that for the delayed date on my couch that I was suppose to receive in JULY ! Never buying from here again. Like the disrespect to customers and their expectations is through the roof. Who ever is in charge of the customer service department, you gotta fix a couple of things.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

I purchased a sleeper sofa from Living Spaces. I measured out according to their policies for delivery to ensure it would fit. When the delivery people showed up they immediately said it wouldn't fit and refused to even bring it indoors even though it was measured. I had to convince them to put it inside and measure for themselves. They finally did after 10 minutes and then they insisted because the couch wouldn't fit down the hallway standing up fully tall they couldn't move it into the room. They told me they wouldn't be able to deliver it but assured me that they would document so I could get a full refund and called their dispatch who said the same. I said if I am going to get a full refund they don't need to try and deliver it. After I discovered I was not refunded the full amount or the delivery fee like.i had been promised. I then called to try and get the refund and was hung up on twice trying to talk to a supervisor with no warning about the situation. I asked for them to either refund me or send it back out without charging me because I measured and it should fit based on what's on their site. On my third call they had me put on a list to be called back by a manager. The manager called me when I was unavailable and left a message with no callback other than the same support line I had called 3 times already. Frustrated the delivery team both didn't try to deliver it and lied about it and no resolution from Living Spaces at all.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

It was to go down the hall and fit into a bedroom down the hall. I had to convince them for 10 minutes to even bring it into the house at all and they also refused to measure so I had to have them bring it in and measure for them to show them but they kept insisting that because it was too tall for the hallway it wouldn't work even though they could just take it flat.Review fromDebra L.

Living Spaces- Floresta Blvd San Leandro ca-I bought a couch called the Stetson with electric recliner as well as side bar with lumbar and headrest. I was told that was a brand-new style that they just received within a month there was a problem. They kept ignoring me I had to get the general managers name from LinkedIn to get any help and that was of July 2020. Now I have the same problem and when I called I paid almost $600 for carefree insurance almost $2000 for the couch and they can fix the other stuff but the part of the couch that leads forward on the seat they say is my problem. I am 65 my husband is 70 and we have no small children in the house this is certainly a defect as it happened before in that couch. Air free representatives were awful when was gonna trash me to the store because they said that I would have to tell them they promised me it would be fixed if I has that issue again he dropped the call and then the girl at the store said hanging up. I just want it fixed and I paid $600 for an insurance that doesn't cover it. The new sofa was delivered In December of 2020. Cushion casings and cores come with a 1 year limited warranty. We show the guest called our Guest Services department on 8/11/2022 to report issues with the casings and cores, they were directed to contact carefree as the manufactures warranty have expired. I've already contacted Carefree insurance and talk to a manager. Now when this happened in December Living Spaces told me if there was another problem like this since it was a new item in their show room that they would replace it or give me credit long as it was the same thing. Carefree insurance is saying only part of it is covered and not the seating. I paid almost $2000 for that couch and almost $600 for the carefree insurance. Carefree told me that Living Spaces could make it good on their promise but they have not and I will never shop there againReview fromRobby S

I purchased a bed from living spaces with a warranty that was moldy and improperly assembled when I finally received it. When I claimed against my warranty I was told "we no longer have this item and it cannot be repaired under warranty". I was told to pick a new bed and it was also assembled improperly, the legs of every bed I purchased were stripped and collapsed within a month of purchase. My last Claim dated 1/4/22, the first bed I received on 10/30/21 and I still have not received a functional product. Both beds I received contained recycled wood filled with cracks sealed back together with wood glue that wasn't even sanded over.Living Spaces Furniture, LLC

Places an order for a sectional and when finally delivered (months late) they only sent 1/2 the item. After numerous attempts finally they agreed to pick up the item and refund my charge. They finally came a month later to pick up the one item and then refused to refund my charge claiming I still have both pieces and they never picked up the item. I have a receipt from their trucking company showing they picked up the item and never delivered the other 1/2 of the order. These people are thieves and I am warning anyone reading this about doing business with them. My next step will be to file a legal action against them. In the next few weeks I will be posting an internet site for other consumers to contact me about being included in a class action against them. My husband & I placed a special order for a couch with a chase on the left side that we had requested through the salesperson. However, she placed the chase on the right side. This verification process they have is a joke. She nor the manager that is to double check the order did not verify the order with us step by step. They only verified the order with each other. Plus they have a cancellation deadline that is absolutely ridiculous. We finalized our order by 7pm. We only had until 8pm same day to cancel or make any changes. The sales associate started that changing or canceling orders have been a problem in the past so that is why they have put this verification policy in place. So if it's such a problem why not have the sales associate take the time to review your order step by step along with the manager?? Also extend the time you have to change your order to at least 24 hours. This policy is set up to benefit living spaces not the customers. Not good business practices!
Another thing we have called and emailed to have a manager reach out to us and not one has done so. As a customer we shouldn't have to be chasing for a manager to speak with us. Just so disappointed with the way we have been ignored by management. I advise any that does a special order from this company they will take advantage of you. Hello, it would've been literally impossible for us to make changes on the given evening. As far as the order being placed at 4:49 that's incorrect. They must be referring to a different time zone we're located in Texas. We left the actual store sometime close to 7:00. The next day my wife checked and we had an email from the store regarding our order. Once we realized it was incorrect we immediately called customer service and we were told the manager would contact us. As far as getting hold of a manager it is nearly impossible and takes 24 to 48 hours. The callback we received it was not from a manager, it was from our sales lady Selena. So as we go back-and-forth and days go by at this point you know you're in trouble! Had a manager called us the very next day less than 24 hours after purchase. They could've told us that we understand you left our store very late with little room for correction. This whole issue could've been resolved in a matter of one phone call! It's very disappointing to have to pay over $600 for something we will never use. I just feel very sorry for the people that have issues once they receive their items and have to deal with upper management. Hopefully at some point I will be able to talk to somebody in corporate. When you call customer service they are not allowed to give out any corporate office numbers. That is to be done through a manager and as we know getting hold of manager or management and getting an issue solved is nearly impossible.
