  We were very happy with our shrubhub design in the end. While it takes several revisions to get your vision fully communicated- the beautiful master plan we now own is worth the back-n-forth messiness that can sometimes accompany online communication. The designer worked diligently after each review to tweak the things we didnt like and if she forgot something we simply reminded her of it and she was very eager to make it right.

  I purchased a plan with unlimited revisions about a year ago, no where on the order did it state it was unlimited for 30 days only, I believe this is a new policy. I had to pay more to revise the current plans. Then my previous designs disappeared, which I paid for. I have asked a couple times to regain access to old designs and have not received a response. Also, the original designs were awful. I was also promised measurements and never got them. This is a complete waste of money. However, they were much quicker to provide the ************ you have to pay extra to get them in a week, this was not how it was a year ago. I'm still waiting on the revisions. I believe this is a foreign provider, as they do not speak good English. If I could do it over, I would pay a local American for the work.

  Would not recommend. Tried to get a refund after two awful designs where shrubhub blatantly disregarded everything that I had asked for. They offered me a 20% refund. I had to ask 6 times and threaten legal action to get anywhere. I asked for a front yard design with no grass and at least 60% native plants for a wildlife certification. I got two different designs and both of them had grass in them. One actually hard artifical turf (I'd never get certified). I asked for a specific tree I purchased in the fall to be incorporated and that request was ignored. I guess they didn't like it? I asked for a sidewalk material that was able to be shoveled bc it snows a lot here. Instead I received slabs of rock with gravel in between them (I specifically said no gravel on the main sidewalk as it can't be shoveled). On one design, my sidewalk was moved but they did not take into consideration that my property slopes downhill. I asked a landscape designer how this could be done. First, it would need to be REDESIGNED to accommodate the slope, so I'd have to pay someone else. Then upwards of $25k and involve the installation of retaining walls and regrading my entire property. I would also have to hire a structural engineer to make the wall structurally sound because it would be over the height limits provided by my Borough. I'd also have to pay for these permits which is not included in the price above. My budget was under $10k but they never asked about that. A new project manager entered the picture halfway through, claiming she doesn't know anything about my project and I have to start over. I have a design background and my designs were NOT created by anyone with formal training. They just learned how to use a program that makes cool 3d models of a house. The justification for only a 20% refund was because they have to pay their employees. Great business practice to throw that in a customer's face. Like it's my fault they didn't do their job.

  We paid extra for unlimited revisions for 30 days. So glad we did...we were able to request completely different options, reduce the number of plants, asked them to add here and there. I was nervous to "outsource" this (We moved to the South and had NO idea on vegetation)...but they did a great job and we look forward to DIY'ing the plants in spring 2023.

  I live in ******* and have had a wonderful experience with shrub hub. I had a beautiful design, plant consultation and received a local contractor to do the yard.**** did a wonderful job.

  Let me start by saying, I purchased a package late one night when Shrub Hub offered 2d models. I was swiftly prompted to upload pics and scheduled an appointment with a designer-I did not. Fast forward almost two years, I completed partial hardscape in the front and backyard when I recalled I'd purchased a Shrub Hub package. I called and was informed my program had expired. However, within an hour ****************** called and offered to honor my original 2D package. Because of her goodwill I upgraded to the 3D package. ******* sent all the instructions and scheduled my appointment with Designer ****. **** listened to my wishlist and offered wonderful ideas for incorporating into my existing design. When I received my design it took my breath away! The process took about 45 days but was worth the wait. I was sometimes inpatient but anytime I reached out to ****************** I received a prompt response, PST. Thank you ****************** and Designer **** for the amazing design and customer service!
